| Hopewell Baptist Church in Marion, Alabama, is what I called my "church home away from home" during my years at Judson College. I discovered that this church was the right one for me in my second year there, as I am now an alumna. While there are not many people my age at Hopewell, the Lord definitely speaks through its pastor and through my Sunday school teachers. It is much smaller than First Baptist Montgomery, but I still feel very much at home when I go to church here. The people there have also gotten to know me and seem to already consider me a member of their church family even though I only attend their church and I'm not a member. It is also easy to get to from Judson, so if you are ever visiting Judson on a Saturday and decide to spend the night, I HIGHLY recommend Hopewell Baptist Church. It was definitely my "church home away from home"! | ||||||||||
