Well, more about myself. I am a total puppy and dog lover, but this is hard for some people to believe. Why? Because the puppies or dogs that they own act really wild and jumpy, and I DON'T enjoy being around dogs like that. But two of my favorite dogs were one my family owned years ago, named Brindle, and one my father's sister owned, named Poochy. Sadly, both of these dogs have now died, but I loved them so much. One of the major reasons I loved them was that they were, at least for the most part, CALM dogs. They were quiet and didn't jump much, at least after a while of my knowing them. Today I have two stuffed animal puppies that sleep with me, both of which I love to death. I hope to someday have a puppy or dog of my own, since I love them so much.
I also enjoy doing crafts. One of my favorites is making afghans, but I don't do this much anymore because I don't have much time. Other than that, I LOVE to make what Judson calls "signs" every now and then(sort of like posters, but you use computer paper or construction paper instead of poster board, so it's much smaller than a poster). I don't make these very often because I hardly have ideas for signs, but when I do, I enjoy them.
Another thing I love is MUSIC!!! I know, a lot of you are WELL aware of this. Let's see how many artists/groups I can name that I love: Abba, Clay Aiken, Bryan Adams, Backstreet Boys, Cher, Phil Collins, Celine Dion, Darren Hayes, Jewel, Ginny Owens, Matchbox Twenty, MercyMe, NSync, REO Speedwagon, S Club 7, Savage Garden, Mark Schultz, Ruben Studdard, Shania Twain. Recently I have been introduced to some GREAT Latino artists, so I'm also now fond of Camila, Juanes, and Jose Feliciano to name a few. That's about all I can think of right now. I know there are tons more but I can't think of them all right now.
By the way, just in case it wasn't already obvious from my main page, I have a MASSIVE interest in learning more about Spanish language and culture. This interest goes back to the years when my age was a single digit, and I still love learning about it. I have to admit I've learned some things that seem VERY strange to me, but I'm sure MY culture also would seem strange to other cultures, and I'm so in love with Spanish culture that I'm willing to deal with my culture shock as long as those who teach me about the culture can deal with it as well. :)
