EXCE3D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All pictures shown are NOT end product, they are either prototypes or mid-production kits. However they should give you an accurate idea until I am able to get good pictures of the prepared kit and built-up version.
EXCE3D - EXperimental Concepts Eectric 3D

I have always prefered profile monoplanes because of it's simplicity, durability and excellent performances. So it is natural that my first released design is a mono.
Current trends of design are the boxy, blocky look. While it might be perfectly fine for pure 3D flying, there is still a majority of flyers who zip around like a sports plane most of the time. Thus you can definitely use more speed and a sleeker look. Swept flying surfaces add not only to the airframe outlooks but also to the performance of the design.

With many many hours behind TurboCad and even more coming up with prototypes for test flying, there are a lot of changes, minor and major, to be made before I finally arrive at this release design.

I have only been flying park flyers and electric sports planes for less than a year. My interest in 3D has only been triggered recently. This is only my 2nd 3D plane and if I can fly 3D moves on it, I don't see why you can't.

Hovering, walking the harriers, torque-rolling, etc. how about getting down low and touching your tail on the deck or kerb or whatever you prefer? Or a snap-roll from a low pass into hover/torque-rolls?  Climb from hover vertically until you almost speck out and inverted/flat spin it down. The simple yet effective colour scheme allows you clear orientation even at height. The airframe copes with high_G moves like the Blender, snap-rolls and parachutes, etc without any problems. If that's not enough to get your andreline pumping, add in the full throttle for more effect!

If down on the deck 3D doesn't float your boat, the
EXCE3D with it's axial rolls, straight tracking, coupled with very responsive and predictable control will allow pattern flying as well. Loops round or square, large or tight; punch vertical from loop and flick the rudder over at the height u like and be rewarded with a clean, pin-tip stall turn. Do the nice-o-blender and finish with a smooth, low inverted pass right in front of your flying buddies!

In case you're thinking you can't fly that well, let me just remind you - I was thinking the same thing before i flew the
EXCE3D!

EXCE3D will dance around with you or fly like a sedate sports plane, all up to your mood and preferences.

With the low price, great looks, sleek design and well prepared kit, you have nothing to lose.
So just give it a try, it might just "
EXCE3D" your expectations.

-Requires micro Rx, 3-4 pico servos, motor system, esc and battery pack
-Features "Crucified" construction for high strength without the weight.

Reminder: Flyer should at least have aileron experience before attempting to fly the EXCE3D. Start with low throws to get the feel of things.

Motor systems can be from the cheap eps 300("C" or "D" ratio) onwards to Hacker B20L w g/b.
Batteries can be from 8 cells AAA nimh packs to lithium polymers.

For 3D:
A good price vs performance brushless setup is the himaxx 2015/2025 w offset g/b, GWS 1147-1260, Castle Creations Phx 25 esc and Etec 1200 3s.

3 servos can be used for 2 ailerons, however independent aileron servos are recommended for mixing capabilities. A naro size servo is also recommended for the rudder.

Note: Nose area can be modified to accomodate out-runners eg, AXI 2208 series.
