EXCELL Home School Group Mission Statement

Dear Fellow Homeschooler,

God has blessed us with a splendid world. Homeschooling gives us, as parents, the opportunity to explore and learn of His creation as we teach our children.

The purpose of our organization is to provide support, information, and fellowship to homeschooling parents, and provide activities, field trips, and fellowship to homeschooled children.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

EXCELL believes that the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.

EXCELL believes in the Triune Godhead; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He has always existed.

EXCELL believes Jesus Christ was God, who came to Earth in the form of a man. He was sinless yet He was crucified and He died for the sins of all men. On the third day He rose from the dead.

EXCELL believes Ephesians 2:8-9 which states, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."

OUR BELIEF

It is our belief that a parent should train up a child in the nurture and admonition of God. Homeschooling is not just an alternative form of education, but a God-given opportunity.

We believe that we must enrich the lives of our children through academics and experiencing God's wondrous creation.

We believe that God has a made us as parents, wholly equipped to be first and most suitable teachers of our children.

We trust God to give us the wisdom and knowledge to lead and guide our children in the way most appropriate for them.
