From the highway to Hell to the stairway of Heaven, the Two Great Ones return for a bogus journey!

Life couldn't have been better for Bill S. Preston Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan. Two years after their famous oral report and an excellent adventure through time, they finally enter the Battle of the Bands and propose to the princess babes Elizabeth and Joanna. However, they never imagned the future was at risk again but with evil robot versions of themselves!
Dude, am I seeing double?
Chuck DeNomolos, Rufus's old gym teacher, was finally fed up with the "system" that was created by Bill & Ted. To rebel against it, he created evil robot Bill & Ted to kill the two Wyld Stallyns from the past. When they arrived in San Dimas (present-day), they devised a scheme to confuse Bill & Ted that the babes wanted to call the engagement off. The plan worked, and they go to Bill & Ted's apartment to "help them" by taking them to the desert where they could meet the babes. In truth, the evil robots followed through with their plan and ultimately killed Bill & Ted.
The spirits of Bill & Ted were now in "Purgatory" where the Grim Reaper (we like to call him Death) waited for them to challenge him in the afterlife. But Bill & Ted had some unfinish business to tend to and melvined Death as an escape route. However, they couldn't do anything to warn about the evil robots because they were dead and no one could hear them or see them. Yet during one of Missy's group attempt to contact the dead, they were sent to Hell and not only met the Devil himself but also Colonel Oats from Oats Military Academy (Ted's alternate "school" from the last movie), the Easter Bunny, and Granny S. Preston Esquire. Being called upon the duo, Death saves them and the challenge was held. After a long day of playing Battleship, Clue, an electric football game, and Twister, the Grim Reaper agreed to take Bill & Ted to Heaven.
Death: I believe it was Colonel Mustard in the library with the candlestick.
With the help of God, Bill & Ted searched all over Heaven to find the greatest scientist in the universe. Surprisingly, they found two Martians who go by the name Station. They returned to Earth, and Bill & Ted were alive again. With Death and Station, the gang returned to San Diman and began to work on a new project: creating good robots Bill & Ted. Meanwhile, the babes were being neglected by evil Bill & Ted and were forced to participate in the Battle of the Bands against their own will. The two robots decided it was time to end Wyld Stallyns with the death of Elizabeth and Joanna in public.
Station!
When our heroes arrived at the Battle of the Bands, it was almost too late. Elizabeth and Joanna were hanging from the rafters, but the ropes were almost snapping in half. Without a moment to lose, they summond the good robots Bill & Ted and destroyed evil robots Bill & Ted. After the princesses were freed, they also received another surprise: DeNomolos. He wanted to finish off the band and had the televised Battle of the Bands be sent across the world. Bill & Ted knew the only way to get rid of the crazed man was with the help of the time travelling game, and it worked! Before too long, Deputy Logan was escorting DeNomolos out the building.
Bill & Ted: No, WE'RE Wyld Stallyns!
Evil Bill & Ted: No, we're Wyld Stallns!
Bill: You totally killed us, you jerkweeds!
After DeNomolos's departure, the band wondered who he really was, but their question was answered by their good friend Rufus, who was Ms. Wardrobe (the organizer for the Battle of the Bands) throughout the movie. It was now safe for Bill & Ted and the babes to start their performance, but they couldn't continue because they didn't know how to play (you think they'd learn by now)! Using the phone booth from DeNomolos, they flash foward into the future and returned to the present as professional rock stars. In the end, Wyld Stallyns won the contest, they were signed to a record label, and Bill & Ted got married to their loves and became fathers of two excellent kids: Ted Preston and Bill Logan. Their story is another excellent adventure or another bogus journey.
