Thaw

The melting ice gives way to the flesh
which burns for release. Flowing and beating
my heart once again is free. The flood of emotion overwhelms me. I once again begin the assent to utter bliss. Reaching out as if an angel from above takes my hand. Her every touch, her every glance, her every word melts away the ice which has entrapped my heart for so long. Only together we shall scale every peak of the heavens.
