Entities to KnowIt might help if you knew a little about the beings who will be creating so much havoc for you. This is by no means a full account of them...just the common knowledge of your people.
The GodsThe Creator is, quite obviously, the one who created all of this. There is not much known, as the Creator is more of a watchmaker than a meddler, if you know what I mean. Raion (say rye-un) is responsible for water. He is thought of as benevolent and wise and is the balance of Yeyj. Yeyj (say yaydge) is responsible for wind. She is the balance of Raion and is therefore meddlesome and brash. Trett (this one is pretty phonetic) is associated with the afterlife. Not necessarily the keeper of the dead, but more a guide from this life to the next. He is a bit self-centered and unfeeling. Hynre (say hin-raye) is responsible for night, and the husband of the twin moons, Oicha and Chio. He is vain and lascivious. Oicha and Chio (say oy-tcha and tchee-oh) are the twin moons and wives of Hynre. To many they embody the spirits of women; more of the homely and peaceful aspects in Oicha and more of the fickle and destructive in Chio. Epar (say ee-pahr) is the sun, and therefore the moons' balance. He is a loner and consumed with his duties. He attempts to stay out of the omnipotent intrigue.
Tarjumân(say tar-jew-main) Creatures akin to muses or familiars, the Tarjumân are shapeshifters who choose to help a mortal in their adventures. They can be a great advantage, for they often know what is going on amongst the immortals and mortals alike; however, they are not hint books: they are living, thinking beings, and it is best to stay on their good sides. Not much else is known about them.
OthersLuck must also be noted. It is a Puck-like force that meddles in both the immortal and mortal lives.Oracles are known to exist, though there is only one oracle sane enough to give any coherent advise that you would know about. She lives on one of the small desert islands off the coast of Rhisc, as far as anyone knows.
