I am a 29 year old ex-auto insurance adjuster originally from Farmingville, NY, USA. I now reside in Endwell, just outside of Binghamton, NY, USA.
I went to Binghamton University and graduated after 6 glorious years with a BA in Biology. (Incidentally the name "ewok" came about in college, when a 6'6'' tall Israeli called me that after I played the ewok celebration song, and sung it as well, when finals were over. The spy part was suggested by 'Rules Andy', who briefly obtained the e-mail address "[email protected]")).Now while Biology is interesting and I can do it well, I don't relish the thought of working with a single animal for 20 years. I have considered teaching, but I would need more schooling for that. My real love was with computers.
Now I was told by my father that there was no money in computers and he wanted me to get into a science field. He's an ex-engineer so I know where he was coming from, but he was mistaken nonetheless.
So after graduating I took an odd job doing 10-key work with an inventory company. After that I was able to gain employment at the above, not to be mentioned, insurance company, and viola... a career.
I am a certified Expert in Excel 2000 and Word 2000. I am also certified in Power Point, Access and Outlook, as well as Project 2003. I have offficially earned the title of MOUS Master.
So why the long updates recently. I have job. :) I am now professionaly working on nothing but VBA scripts and procedures to make high-end excel sheets. Isn't life wonderful ! :) My GF takes a lot of my time as well, but that is to be expected and always takes priority over this. Luckily she is considerate enough to know I love working on this. :)
How much of a Star Wars Junkie am I? I have knowledge, and an entire set of the Decipher CCG cards. I won Star Wars Trivial Pursuit in 3 turns and can name at least 10 star destroyers. That's just the tip of the iceburg. But no, I'm not part of the 501st....yet.
This wraps up most of my unpersonal life. The rest is not meant for public display, but hopefully will give you a brief bit of insight into the maniac who took the time to do this. All on a challenge from a friend, whom I will not mention (Sion). That, Obessesive-Compulsive tendencies and plenty of time between job searches and it creates one doozy of a sheet.
