Hard Rock Cafe, Newport Beach on a day off.
The weather was sunny, and 70. I am wearing a hockey jesery, damn fool tourist.
While I have nothing but bad words for my former employer, I will say that being able to fly around the country for my job gave me a new look on life.

Michigan is the only state for me.
We have the Detroit Red Wings, and Tigers. Vernors pop, Joe E. Lewis. The Firestone Tire, Tiger Stadium (R.I.P.) last but not least...me and my family.
I was in California for my job at the time as a Asset Recovery Specialist (Repo man for the ass kickin' effect). We had three jobs all in the greater LA area. When we finished we went to downtown so I could pick up some hockey stuff. The shirt and hat are from the Staples Center where the Los Angeles Kings play.

Marty and I drove through Watts (the Cass Corrider of the west), SunSet Blvd. I saw the Whiskey A Go-Go, the Roxy, Capital Records, Rhino Records, the Beverly Center, the Hollywood sign ( obscured by the buildings along Hollywood Blvd.) I want to go back and explore more sometime, but I discoverd while I was there that, just like Dorthy, there is no place like home.
