Entry for December 18, 2007
I opened the UAW meeting today.  I slept almost all day away.  I was lazy.  I have my shrink appointment tomorrow, in about 12 hours, at 1:20 pm.  We talked about the 12th Tradition at the meeting today.  "Anominity is the spiritual foundation of all our taditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities."  While reading this, a concept was brought up:  Anonimity wasn't just to protect the cult, but if I am a faceless, unknown member, I am taking no credit for my good works, thus I am staying humble.  Not seeking the praise for my new found spirituality.  I had never thought of it that way before, I had only thought it was so people would not fear reprocussions from being in our cult.  Also a good concept that I took from this meeting: Being anonymous, I am not known as the representative of the cult, thus my behavior isn't a representation of all things Cult.  I also think that I am going to impliment this "Anonymous Humility" a little more in my 9th Step amends: not mention that I am doing charitble works as part of my amneds.
