Entry for November 17, 2007
Just got back from the 8 am St Joe's cult meeting. I am going over my sponsors house tonight, sometime, not sure when, for a preThanksgiving turkey dinner. We are having my sister and her in-laws over tomorrow, and I am actually going over my Aunts house for dinner on Turkey Day. We read in the 12th Step today at the meeting, mainly about wives and relationship stuff. I didn't have anything to add! It did make me think though, and I must remember that just because I have adopted these spiritual principles, others in my family still ive how they live. They don't follow the 12 Steps and as such, think they can control things that I have come to believe I have no business trying to control. The tension at home is palpable though. I am working on diffussing it.
