Entry for October 16, 2007
Went to Lowes today to try and get what I need to make the storm windows for the deck. We ended up buying plastic for the outside. The odd and large dimension of the windows made it difficult to find plexiglass the correct size. But I did price some grills with my mother, which she wanted me to do. I talked on the phone with a fellow cult member, and I will be helping him move on the 1st of November. I hit the UAW meeting tonight. My sponsor took me to the meeting. I handed out my phone number to a few members, I hope they use it if they need to call someone. Another member gave me his phone number, offering me a ride if I needed it. He's worried about doing his 4th Step. We talked for a while after the meeting about this. He seems very sincere about trying to follow through with the steps, and I hope what I had to say helped him out. He said that just talking about what little we got into made him feel better, I told him that was what the 5th Step was about, and imagine how much better he'd feel after completeing his 4th, and unloading all that shit in his 5th. My sponsor and I talked in front of my house for about 20 minutes after the meeting. It's always good to talk program with him. I have been lazy the last few days, and I need to get back into a rutine, now that my midnight shifts are done from this weekend. I work Friday, moving piano's again.
