Entry for September 28, 2007
I read 130 pages in the Harry Potter book today. I also read "How it Works" again today. A fellow cult member called me today, and we went golfing. It was this cultists 4 year anniversary of his sobriety. I know he only called me because he thought I might be available, but I still felt honored to share his anniversary day with him. He talked about being so grateful to be sober, and how he wasfilled with a sence of humility. I think some of it rubbed off on me, cuz I think I got goose pimples on the golf course. I rarely get emotional. Well, I rarely get surges of feelings that don't conffuse me and make me feel like shit, I should say, but I did out there on the golf course talking about the miracle that we two drunks were out on a Friday afternoon, sober, golfing. I also hit up the Wayne Nankin meeting tonight. While I was out on the golf course a cultists called me, and wanted to know if I wanted a ride. They called me not the other way around. I felt very good, still do. I am working tommorow, and from what I was told it should be an interesting day. We are delivering a piano to a Metro Park, for a one day rental. We also have several other deliveries. I'm just greatful that I have a ride to work tomorrow, since it could be a long day, and they say it's going to be in the low 40's, possibly upper 30's in the AM. Over and Out.
