Entry for March 3, 2008
The wonderful world of sorting 45's is almost over! I spent 8 hours sorting 45's today, finishing off thelast box. I discussed the sheer number of records with my friend, and we agreed that I'll just put the "final" alphbetizing (all I have been doin is sorting into letters, not the actual Aa-Az0ing, if that makes sence) and I am not going to inventory them all on the computer. I averaged about one a minute on the 33's. That's with alphabetizing the letter, then entering it into the spread sheet. It took 10 hours to do a little over 640 33's... there are at least 1,500 45's. That's just a rough guess. I didn't think that he had any idea how long this was going to take, and I wanted to give him an easy out, by just skipping the entering it all into the PC, because that's alotta money to just sort them N crap. Anywho! I didn't go to a meeting today. I procrastinated all morning, then finally got my ass into work. I had a mini panic attack today, I think it's because I had to pay my car insurance, and cash a check, and writea check. That kind of shit stresses me out, and I haven't had to deal with any kind of "real life" bills for so long, it got the ole panic attack heart rate thumping, and adrenaline going. FUN! My sponsee is struggling, and I am kind of floundering. I hope I can get my shit together and help him, helping myself in return.
