Entry for February 14, 2008
I woke up early today, painted window parts, hit the 10 am meeting. It was good seeing some faces I don't normaly see, and very good to see an oldtimer who I sat at many tables with early in my sobriety. I went to my sister's house for dinner. It's always nice to see my nephew and neice! Then I hit the 7:30 pm meeting at Geneva. I volunteered to be alternate Coffee Maker/ Set up person, since I am able to do that now with my restricted license. Then I went and got coffee afterwards at Baker's Square, where a fellow cult member made my day; He thanked me for saying something at a meeting yesterday that helped him alot. I am not gettinga big head, but it's good to hear that something I learned could be passed on, and help another person. I know I have been told countless of times, that's how the program works, but it still is cool seeing it frist hand.
