INTERVIEW

04/05/01
This weeks interviews concern the two stars that are gonna face eachother in the main event at the Family Values PPV. None other then Alexander Glory and Kritical Kondition are featured this week. Both men answered ten questions. Here is what they had to say.

FACE TO FACE:

Alexander Glory

What former feds where you in?

Alot, most recently, the C.W.A., the X.C.W. and the X.W.F.

Which former titles did you hold?

Believe it or not, not many. None in the most recent federations due to poor managment ( the feds closing ) and the fear that I bring. You see, unlike what everyone wanted to believe for a while, I was never protected by Cazzo. I always fought my own battles and won on my own. In other federations, I took a similar stance. While I gained victorys, titles shots were not handed out.

How do you rate the EWCL compared to other feds you were in?

I rate the EWCL among the top three. I will always have a fond place in my heart for the fedeartion I started in, that has since long closed. Another federation I was in saw me do something I rarely ever do, make friends in the ring. Those two shall remain nameless because I wouldn't want to rekindle old fueds, but lets just say there are a couple people here that I've seen in them.

What do you think of the competition on the EWCL?

The EWCL has some great young superstars. While I may not like them I do recongnize talent when I see it. Grim Reaper, Mauler and Vego all have long careers ahead of them. Maulers however could end up short unless he takes the lose he has coming at Venom and stays out of my path. As for the established stars, what can I say that hasn't already been said about Kritical Kondition? The man pushed me to the limit last time we met, at Family Values, we will make history. As for Joe Johnson, the man is undefeated in the hardcore division. I think that speaks for itself.

What is your next goal in the EWCL?

Believe it or not, I'm at a crossroads right now. I've already won the Universal championship. I am the best damn wrestler in the federation, bar none, and I've beaten everyone that could stand infront of me. I could either continue along with the Universal championship until someone finally manages to defeat me, or I can do what no one has ever done in the EWCL become the first grand slam champion. Right now, lets just say I'm weighing my options and watching every person who holds a strap of gold.

What was your best match here in this fed?

There were two honestly. My match against Cazzo, the stairway to hell with the sledgehammer above the ladder, that was a classic. I believe it was on the EWCLs recent video release. As for the second, until the end I would have had no choice but to say Kritical Kondition. However that opinion may change after Family Values.

Who used to be your wrestling idol?

Believe it or not, there are men who I look up to even today. Ric Flair has to be one of the best mic workers, bar none. Then when you look at his old N.W.A. tapes, you realise why he was probably the best world champion ever. Only Lou Thesz could even come close. However now I look towards superstars from the WWF such as Chris Benoit, Steven Regal and of course, a man I have alot in common with, Triple H. Abroad in japan I believe that Kensuke Sasaki and Jushin"Thunder"Liger have to also come to mind. Last but not least, who could forget the Dynamite kid?

Is there a wrestler in the EWCL that you appreciate?

To be honest, while may interviews may be harsh, I appriciate anyone with the guts to step through those ropes. From Flameboy and Wert Evens to Kritical Kondition and Joe Johnson, anyone with the guts to lay their lives on the line day in and day out for this sport, I appriciate that. Now if your asking about ability, since no one could be me, I guess the next best thing would have to be being Kritical Kondition and Joe Johnson.

Which wrestler can't you stand at all?

Believe it or not, Dan Prohibition drive me absolutly insane. While he has done some amazing things and lived through them, the man has no heart. He could easily attempt to step up to Joe Johnsons level and take the hardcore title, but he won't. That drives me insane. However there is one man I cannot stand above all else, the Punisher. Lies, lies and more lies. While I play mind games and I'm damn good at it, I never and I mean never lie. I am a very honest person, and the Punisher with his fake F.B.I. routine just to get over as a heel? Come on. I think people who lie drive me insane.

Any famous last words?

Last words? Almost sounds like I'm being taken to the gallows pole. *laughs* I guess my last words would simply be to stand as tall as you can and never stop going for your goals. I'm the Universal champion because I never gave up, and I believe that other people could achieve something if they just put out more effort. If you feel like your gonna break, break and keep going. It is only gonna make you stronger. With that said, this interview is over.

Kritical Kondition

What former feds where you in?

I have wrestled in MacFarlane's AIWO, IFW/WOW, Pickstock's EUWC, Bojo's XXXWF, Flanders' IEA, Marshall's SWF, and Lieuallen's ICW.

Which former titles did you hold?

AIWO Tag Title with Mark Thunder, 2 time EUWC Tag Champ with Mark Thunder, EUWC International Championship, XXXWF World Championship, IEA Hardcore Championship, IEA World Championship (current), ICW Hardcore Championship, EWCL Prime Time Championship, and EWCL Tag Championship with Joe Johnson. I'm only in the IEA and EWCL at the moment. I'm also participating in the 32 man GWCI invitational.

How do you rate the EWCL compared to other feds you were in?

Not bad at all, very organized. Cazzo takes his fair share of criticism but I think he's justified in his actions 97.8% of the time. The cards are always out on time, and that's a must. Cazzo is also a hell of a lot better than other presidents, namely Pickstock and MacFarlane.

What do you think of the competition on the EWCL?

In some respects, outstanding. In others, not so. All in all, better talent could be brought in to make the federation more prestigious.

What is your next goal in the EWCL?

Derr...win the Universal Title of course, what everyone aspires to do. Take the fed's highest honour and defend it. There is no better satisfaction. Also to continue working with the Family. Great guys.

What was your best match here in this fed?

Hands down, me against Glory. Sure, Cazzo tainted that match, but otherwise he was a very tough opponent to take on in a match. It was utter hell that week, very chaotic.

Who used to be your wrestling idol?

Piper, the Rhodes's, Flair, Funk...definite legends. Also modern day stars, like Kanyon, Angle, and Benoit are great.

Is there a wrestler in the EWCL that you appreciate?

Several, namely Joe Johnson, Shane Johnson, Bowen, Cazzo...most definitely Glory.

Which wrestler can't you stand at all?

I don't like to publicly bash other people, so I'll reserve comment on that.

Any famous last words?

Hey, I plan on running rampant through this federation for my own success...who's to stop me?
