The Inside Scoop #8

Recently some EWCL shows were postponed and were shown later on tv. All these happenings were coincidental and had to do with technical problems and miscommunications. Therefore they have nothing to do with the fact that there are behind the scene difficulties or lack of commitment.
The fact that alot former IWF wrestlers joined the EWCL is not affecting the relationship between the IWF and the EWCL. IWF President John Lugo even stated this on the latest "Pardon the Interuption" when he talked with Danny Travis and Michael Haylek. Every wrestler that jumps ship from one to the other federation does this out of his/her own personal decision and is not talked into or forced by either one of the presidents.
Speaking of the former IWF wrestlers. John Daniels, Travis Cage and Blaise Martelle made their first appearance on EWCL television the other night. A spokesmen said that ratings went up, because the rumours were already on the internet that they would appear on the show. Expect these 3 former IWF stars to play a big part in the current storylines between The Royal Family and The Rebellion Project.
Don't expect an Invasion kind of angle by all the former IWF'ers. History learnt us that these angles hardly ever work and therefore the writing staff is not taking this idea into consideration right now.
Backstage they are happy about the feuds between Sean Orion and Neil Down and the one between Roadblock and Dean Thornton. These guys seem to have good chemistry together. Since Dean Thornton is a former wrestler, it is not out of the question that he eventually will step in the ring to face Roadblock. Also Roadblocks commentating got good critics.
The main event during the last RFTV saw that Racheal Everhart wrestled instead of her boyfriend and Universal Champion Scott Monroe. This decision was made by herself, seeing that Monroe was unfit to wrestle himself. It was either this or to cancel the main event. At first Chris Christ wasn't too happy with it, but in the end he agreed to have this match.
After seeing Racheal Everhart in the ring and the fact that Blaise Martelle has joined the federation, people ask themselves the question if the EWCL is gonna have it's own women's title. At this moment there aren't gonna be made any decisions on this. A staffmember said that both females can handle themselves perfectly in a ring with men, so do not expect a womens division right away.
Matty Midget finally gets his title shot at Scott Monroe during the next show. That is if Monroe is fit enough to step back in the ring again. Matty Midget lost some of his momentum after his surprising and shocking debut, but he still gets this chance to boost himself up again. Critics backstage say that it wouldn't be a good thing if Matty would win the Universal Title, because it is a bit implausible to have a midget as the champion.
On their return Gargantuflem and Sean Campbell tagged together as a team. But this upcoming week Sean Campbell is tagging with his cousin Jerry Campbell. As of now they are trying a couple of partners for Sean Campbell to see who's the best match for a possible tagteam. The tagteamdivision needs some new blood so it can be expected that more tagteams will be formed over the next couple of weeks.
The already famous "kissing scene" during the Nick Dangerous-Sean Corvik match was an idea of the main writer. Even though not everyone liked this scene, it did get good reactions from the crowd.
