The Inside Scoop #7

11/12/02

  • After a couple of weeks the inside scoop is back. Due to technical problems it wasn't possible to put a decent inside scoop up. But now it's the intention to get it going again. Here we go.

  • The ending of the last Insurgence saw that Exile put a gun to Prez Belton's head. Belton signed a paper which means that Exile and The Royal Family has total power of the next Insurgences show(s). When you look at the card you see that they already changed the name into RFTV. This storyline goes a bit further than usual storylines as Exile and The Royal Family are actually gonna write the script for the upcoming show.

  • In addition to that the following. Someone recently mentioned that The Royal Family is EWCL's Kliq. However The Royal Family doesn't have the backstage power that some people might think they have.

  • Since Dan Prohibition has made his comeback he had several backstage encounters with some of the other wrestlers. Words backstage were that Dan had a bit of an ego problem ever since his return. After some talks things the atmosphere seems to be back to normal again.

  • As of now it can be said that Christmas in Hell is sold out. Which ofcourse is good news.

  • The Main Event for the Christmas in Hell PPV is set. On the 22nd of December we will see a "6 Men Hell in the Cell match". Sofar booked in that match are Scott Monroe, Nick Dangerous and a "friend" of Nick Dangerous. Speculations who this "friend" is have been made, but at this moment there can't be much said about it. Since the next show is the last one before the PPV, the additonal names for the match will be announced. Rumours are going around that since The Royal Family has taken over the power that both Sean Corvik as Exile will compete in that match. If thats the case then there is only one opening left. Options are that either Matty Midget or Blade will take this spot. But nothing has been finalised yet.

  • Another big match at the PPV is the one between Strait Hate and Dan Prohibition. Or I should say Daniel "The Holy Saint" as Dan has changed to that gimmick again. This match promises to go into history as the most extreme match the EWCL has ever seen. These days it is also real intresting to see how Johnathan Cable is gonna be put in the mix. These men are 3 of the 4 most hardcore wrestlers that have appeared on EWCL television. Ofcourse the fourth one being "The Enigma" Joe Johnson.

  • Other matches haven't been finalized yet. But its as good as certain that Marco will get a titleshot at Xavier Byrne's Prime Time Title. If Blade is not gonna be in the Main Event match then you can expect him to defend his EWCL title aswell.

  • It's unclear when Eric "Cazzo" Van Zandt will be back on television again. At this moment he was happy with how things was going storyline wise with first The Rebellion Project and Belton having the power and now that The Royal Family taking the power. This gives Cazzo some time to think over things and spent some more time with his family. Does he have family you ask? Actually he has been seen with a female. However it can happen that we are gonna see Cazzo at the PPV.

  • Ex-Terminator will take a couple of months off.

  • The last couple of weeks we have seen several former IWF wrestlers starting in the EWCL. First we had Matty Midget and Marco and more recently it was Chazz Mendel who made the step. Chazz got alot of good reactions backstage from the other wrestlers. There is no real reason why all these former IWF wrestlers decided to go to the EWCL. It can be expected that even another person from the IWF will make a debut soon. Although this can't be confirmed at this moment.
