So it seems my first writing went without a hitch. Not bad for an old fart, huh? Pay per view week looms around the corner and i'm telling you now, everybody is hyped around these parts. With superb matches filling the card I can't help but wait for the highly anticipated main event. Chris Christ defends his Universal title against Macbeth, the Executive Universal title. The winner will become overall Universal champion. Memo to Cazzo; please don't call it the 'Unidisputed' title! Seen it, it dont work. Still, the EWCL provides with reason once again to open the big golden gates to my mind and the thoughts of the week gone by flooding out faster than a Jay Masters relay team! This week saw many changes happen both character wise and mentally wise in the EWCL. Is it me or did Chris Christ act overly mature when with Jerry Campbell? Not a good move for 'The Messiah' if you ask me. I always enjoyed laughing at Chris when he was a heel and was looking forward to laughing with him as a face. Nick Dangerous has really shone in recent weeks. His new promo style of a diary entry of sorts has hit a soft spot with me and I do truly enjoy it. It's a style that can't faulter in this business because it doesn't get done very often. Nick's rise to the top has been a slow starter but now it seems to be beating even Jay Masters! What about that legionaire Chris Outcast, eh? Putting those civilians into place was real big of him. Chris needs a gimmick of some kind and Scott isn't working. If you're gonna have a manager or sidekick in this world then I suggest a name like 'Pumpnut' or 'Dick Cheese'. Outcast is on a sinking ship right now and it's called The Legion(don't get me started on this stable jsut yet). I suggest you take a rubber dhingy and float off to better and more lush surroundings. The Big Unit...what a crock of shit they turned out to be!! If there is one thing I hate more than a man running back to his former fed because they can't handle it it's two men running back to their former fed because they can't handle it. No big loss really. Rage was not half as good as he made out to be and if Matty Midget kept getting beat by Powerhouse then I strongly suggest you get in touch with Eleven and work out some kind of feud storyline Matty. Because that is lower than a snakes belly. Macbeth was quiet this week don't know why, maybe I should ask him? Macbeth, why were you quiet this week? 'Nuff said! That's the recap so let's take a glimpse at my bits, easy Jerry. What was the best bits and what were the worst?
Best bit: Main Event
Yup, you can't argue with it. The main event ruled. A tight one to call to. I didn't know just who would win until the very end. Well I did, but i'm pretending like I never. Was it me last week who basically said Jerry Campbell was a filler? I do believe my exact words were "Hhhhmmmmm not sure wether this was the best route to take for the main event but its there. It looks to me that Jerry Campbell has been thrown into the mix for ratings sake and nothing more". Sorry Jerry, I was wrong. The guy held his own in his first EWCL main event and he held it good. I would go as far to say he was the strongest performer out there. Jerry really showed the fans he can do it and he also showed the writers, and critics, just why he was put in the main event. Go Jerry! But I don't think the main event was anything anyone could put down. Four stars like that and you got yourself a winner from Monday night.
Next best bit: Campbell and Christ
Anyone else laugh at this segment? I sure as hell did. Moogatu finally getting a hold of Michelle's leg and Jerry announcing he wanted a piece of it too. Good stuff. Comedy has become a part of wrestling voer the years and EWCL hasn't seen much of it. Exile was the last big comedic performer in the EWCL and his was insane. I can see Campbell doing well with a good storyline along side Christ. You team with an 'A' list wrestler and you got yourself a good deal.
Worst bit: Our champions
He did it again. Chris Christ lost. Ever since he held the Universal title he hasn't won a single match. Two weeks sabatical and we all thought he would come back with guns blazing. A match against Macbeth and Dangerous is never going to be easy but still, you gotta try. Macbeth and Christ both looked very sluggish last week. I would go as far to say Dangerous and Campbell carried them. Macbeth's promo was shabby by his standards and Christ's 'mature than Campbell' thing didn't work for me. I want to see more from these two if the pay per view match is going to mean a damm thing!
Next worst bit: Older news
That's it! I think its time for us to all gather our boards and stakes and make our signs. WE all meet at the EWCL HQ and picket the writers until they finally abolish the Legion. What a cruddy stable that is. I don't like them. Punisher couldn't lead a blind man through a field. Anyone ever see the Legion all together, at once showing some kind of unity? We caught a glimpse of Aaron Gold and Outcast together this week but nothing more than a glimpse. Where is Punisher anyway? GOD DAMMIT! Just thinking of the wasted talent makes me p'ed off. That's it, 'nuff said about the Legion.
Last worst bit: Tag team
Does anyone else agree that the tag team gold means about as much as a win over Eleven nowadays? The credibility of beating Mystic is hardly something that hasn't been done before. Around the office we have labelled Mystic as 'sick-note'. Cable is strong and is carrying a team being pulled under by sick-note. Ok, he taking a break these couple of weeks. Needed? yes. Well-earned? Not half as much as the other guys. Mystics old ability will not get him much higher than mid-card nowadays. He really needs to bring himself up to the level of the others otherwise a bigger, better and more commited team will come along and swipe those title off you before he can sneeze!
Predicitions for this week:
Match 1: Silencer vs Loki: Seriously I don't know anything about Silencer. Loki has caught my eye so far in this fed and I pick him for the win basically because I don't know who Silencer is. Loki to win
Match 2: Jay Masters vs Chris Outcast: You really wanna know who I pick? Ok then but you're not going to like it. Jay Masters to just pip it *sigh*
Match 3: Punisher/Aaron Gold vs Eleven/Coby Belton: I like Coby Belton but he got one hell of a short straw this week. Punisher and Aaron Gold to win it only because Eleven is in the match. Poor Belton is all I can say. Punisher/Gold to win.
Match 4:Thorn vs AAA (PT title): I like Addams and I like Thorn. I like a lot of people on the roster don't I? Well this one isn't easy to call. Addams has worked damned hard to get to this level in such a short time. Thorn with the bit of experience under his belt seems to sway the win in his favour. Thorn to just take the victory.
Match 5: Strait Hate vs Johnathan Cable (Extreme title): I just said I like a lot of people on the roster. Scratch it. Cable is a dislike of mine. I don't know what it is but I don't like him or his promos. Hate to win anyways.
Match 6: Jerry Campbell vs Nick Dangerous (EWCL title): Not the easiest of matches to predict now is it? Jerry showed a solid performance last week and had me rushing the merchandise stand to buy a t-shirt of his. But Nick Dangerous, what can I say? Nick is soon going to be main eventer and everybody knows it. The idea of giving him the EWCL was great though. A solid feud with Campbell for the next few weeks will do neither no harm. Nick Dangerous to climb the last rung just before Jerry on this one.
Main Event: Macbeth vs Chris Christ (Universal title): Not being a fan of this whole 'two titles' thing I can't wait to see the back of one of them. Chris Christ hasn't exactly been on tip top form lately not winning since he wont the title. Not exactly a confidence giver is it? But the kid got skills and you can't deny him that. Macbeth is ruthless and will not hold back for any reason. Macbeth has made an impact like not many other people can in this federation. So it with a heavy heart I hand him the win. Macbeth to be crowned the only Universal champion the EWCL has to offer.

Goodbye comes around once again and I hope you enjoyed my thoughts again. Don't be a stranger to helping me out. Tell me everything you agree or disagree with on the OOC. All feedback is great and I thank you if you do take time out to help me as I do to write this. For another week it's goodbye from me and I hope the pay per view lives up to expectations,
