The Roster Rundown

Vinny's back with another edition of his useless rantings about the EWCL. Promoing came back in fashion this week. After weeks that have seen nobody even bothering we finally saw some activity on the roleplay board. An eventful week in the EWCL. We nearly saw the tag belts change hands, the worst triple threat match in EWCL history and one of the best Internet title matches Venom has seen for a long, long time!! So on with the rundown.

Punisher: An uneventful week for the former Universal champ. He had his reasons and I don't think anyone on the roster would disagree with where his priorities lied. But he went ahead with his match anyway. If you can call it that. A simple mauling would be a more appropriate name. This feud is heating up.

Joe Johnson: What can I say about the Internet champ. He really is one of the best superstars in the whole business. Last week I said I thought Corvik was the only who can beat Exile. I take it back there's is two that can do it.

Exile: The week that really surprised me. Exile didn't promo at all this week. The consistency finally stopped. He may have had his reasons but hopefully the champ will be back to winning ways.

Sean Corvik: The main contender for taking Exiles belt. Definetly only him and Joe are the two that can take Exiles belt. Making the champ tap out was a real confident booster and this will make it all the easier for Corvik to snatch the title away from him.

Dan Prohibition: Good week for Dan. I have been critical of him in the past but this week he showed us all. But what I find funny is that Dan doesn't seem to be able to hold a feud down. After the Brody match he said he'd have a rematch, I thought him and Blade would go all the way to Xmas in Hell but then Dan goes and accepts Sickboys challenge. Why Dan? you have a feud at the top of the card so why go right back down it to face Sickboy? It just seems stupid. Fight blade! Fight Blade! FIGHT BLADE!!!

Cazzo: What can I say? The man has more worries than a rabbit with a limp. No money. Limited control and a pain in the arse in the shape of Saphio. What I want to know is where is it all going?

Saphio: The personal problems concerning Punisher put a downer on the match. But hopefully we will see this big rivalry continuing for a long while.

Fazzer: AT LAST!! Fazzer does a promo! A not half bad one at that. Not enough to beat the almighty Ceberus but still it's a start.

Mauler: So Mauler has been mauled. I didn't think he deserved to win the triple threat match lastnight but it's not down to me. It hurts me to say it but Xtreme should have won that match. Eeeww, I did not like saying that.

Blade: Brilliant promoing again from the big man. It's a shame that Exile couldn't hold on for a little bit longer because Blade was looking tip top throughout the whole match. I saw the tag title changing hands yesterday. But it wasn't to be.

Steel Brasco: At least the guy promo'd this week. It was a shame that he didn't do just that little bit extra because his one attempt was not far behind Xtremes two and easily outdid Maulers. Lets hope he carries on trying and maybe he can start climbing the ladder. I see Steel with a title around his waist in the near future.

Warlock: Just sack him Cazzo! One promo since he has ben here? It's a joke.

Xtreme: Did deserve to win this week but really with his opponents it isn't really an achievement. Steel would be better if he did more. So that isn't really an achievement. And can anyone else actually contain there exictement for the Sickboy/Xtreme feud? OOOOOOOO!

'Non Hardcore' Brody James: Can't really say much this week can I.

'The Armageddon' Cerebus: Easy defence against the new look Fazzer. I think Cerberus should start to venture further up the ladder to bigger and better things. It's what he is capable of and he knows it.

Eddie 'The Impact' Osbourne: Is this an angle or is it a true way to go? If it is. R.I.P to the first hall of famer Eddie 'The Impact' Osbourne. Cue the violins.

Super Trouper: *shrugs*

Ex-Terminator: Look above

Mystic: Was part of the best match of the night. Continuing this feud with Joe Johnson would be the best thing since Corvik/Glory. That's right even better than Sickboy/Xtreme.

Sickboy: At least he tries. But his trying is like Exile blabbing out some old crap and he would still beat his ass. I lie it when new guys start and are trying their best but "Mr. Hardcore" isn't exactly a big threat to Saphios belt is he?

A very good week in my eyes. I see many feuds being built up for Xmas in Hell. and it really should be the ebst PPV I've witnessed in the EWCL. Lets hope it can top last years Xmas in Hell. It won't be easy!! I hope you enjoyed this weeks edition of the roster rundown.
