Billy also comes from scotland and it has been said that over 200 celebrities appeared. It was held at Billy's Highland retreat. - Filming with Down With Love is running smoothly in LA. The producers have said that it will be PG-13. - There has been alot of rumours flying around as to who would be a part of an up-coming blockbuster, Sahara. Possible actors involved include Bruce Willis, George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, and Sylvester Stallone. The rumours took a new twist a couple of weeks ago when a "cameo appearance" was apparently made in a Swakopmund bar by Ewan McGregor. According to the barman who served McGregor, he was here "to check out the set of Sahara". Hmm... - Borgia is saved!! A deal to sort out the financing to Borgia has been agreed. The film will be shot in Umbria, Italy and at Babelsberg Studios in Germany through to next February. - Ewan's favourite car is a Mustang he bought in Australia whilst filming Moulin Rouge. - The July issue of Glamour magazine has a piece on who celebrities would like to see naked. Ewan's answer was: "I'd like to see me naked. That would be novel." - Borgia has been shelved after soaring budget costs. The budget has already escalated from �35million to �42million, ewan was to play murderous Cesare Borgia in the mediaeval Italian movie. It has been put on indefinite hold. - Renee Zellweger hand-picked Ewan McGregor to be her leading man in a sex comedy because he had the right macho touch...hmm, i agree...LOL. She wanted a real masculine man who was sexy and charismatic. The films producers went through lists of available actors and she turned down all of them. When they mentioned Ewan, she said bingo! How cool!!! She was able to select her leading man because of her oscar win a couple of years ago. - Make sure you vote for Ewan in the Biography Sexiest People Poll HERE. - Ewan was wearing foundation, eyeliner and lipstick at the MTV Movie Awards! Apparently it set tongues wagging... - Here is a pic from Young Adam, Ewan's up-coming "Scottishly erotic" film...Hmm, i wonder what he's doing... - Borgia is going to be filmed in Berlin, Germany. - Ewan presented an award at the MTV Movie Awards on June 1st. Ewan and Nicole won best musical sequence AND Nicole took home the award for best female performance, GO NIC! The awards will be aired on MTV on June 6th at 9pm. June 15 for the UK. I presume its about June 6th for Australia, check your TV guides guys! - Filming of Down With Love with Renee Zellweger has started in LA. Heads up people in LA! - Ewan will not go to Star Wars conventions because he doesn't like the obsessed fans that only ask for his autograph so they can sell the signed item on the net. I agree with him, I wouldn't either. - Borgia appears to be coming together as a huge co-production between the UK, Germany, Italy, Ireland and possibly France. Shooting on the just under $55m production - apparently reduced by approximately 10% from its original price-tag - is expected to start by late September.
