Yahoo: sablecrazy, the_man_diva
Height: 5"10
Weight: 190
Date of Birth: January 27th, 1981
Hometown: Thomasville, USA (Los Angeles, California)
Alignment: Popular Heel
Entrance Music: "Can't Stop (22nd Century Lifestyle)"
performed by Pre Thing
Manager/Valet: Bombshell
Appearance: Tommy Purr is of mostly Japanese and
Italian heritage, with just a "dash" of Puerto Rican
coursing through his blood. He stands at 5'10" and
weighs 190 lbs., classifying him as a Cruiserweight.
He isn't built like the average Cruiserweights of
today like Rey Mysterio, Jr. or Spike Dudley, but has
a similar build to Billy Kidman ... not skinny, not
muscular, but certainly not large either. Tommy has a
semi-dark complexion, which makes it look as if he's
tan all year-round, which goes great with his dark
brown eyes and jet-black hair (which he shapes into a
nice little fashion hawk, or faux hawk).
When Tommy isn't partaking in wrestling events, he is
usually seen wearing black Armani business suits with
white collared shirts that are loosely buttoned. Tommy
wears an array of different outfits that reflect
either his mood or what kind of match-up he will be
taking part in.
When wrestling in Boxer-Briefs Matches, Tommy tends to
wear blue denim vintage jeans with black leather Doc
Martin lace-up boots and a red sleeveless shirt with
no sleeves. The shirt is a blend of red colors with
splashes of tan in the form of an eagle on the front.
Should Tommy ever lose a Boxer-Briefs Match, or a
Tuxedo Match for that matter, he is usually wearing
tight black boxer-briefs. When wrestling in Tuxedo
Matches, Tommy always wears a black pin-stripe Zuit
Suit with a matching fedora.
When partaking in standard wrestling matches, Tommy
wrestles in baby blue short-shorts with matching
kneepads and shin guards, and black wrestling boots
(which are mainly covered up by the shin guards, which
are the padded kind similar to Chris Jericho, Rob Van
Dam, or Sable). The back of Tommy's short-shorts reads
"Boys Only" in white letters. Tommy also wears a tight
sleeveless shirt (baby blue-colored as well) that
reads "Tommyknocker 24/7" on the front. When Tommy
gets ready to drop his Tommyknocker finishing maneuver
OR a huge high spot in the ring (when he's really
fired up), he quickly pulls off his shirt, creating a
quick and loud pop from the fans before hitting his
finisher (this move is practically his finishing
taunt). Tommy wears, as his only accessory, a silver
chain necklace with a small padlock around his neck.
The chain isn't very long and is about standard
necklace-length. When Tommy enters the arena for any
kind of match-up (except Tuxedo Matches), he is
wearing a black newsboy cap and a black overcoat, and
carries an eight-foot-long black leather whip with him
to the ring. All of these garments sit at ringside
throughout his entire match.
Entrance: The arena goes dark for a moment until the
sound of a wild cat is heard roaring over the PA
system, followed by the snap of a whip. The crowd
jumps to their feet with excitement as multicolored
lights begin to flash and "Can't Stop (22nd Century
Lifestyle)" performed by Pre Thing begins to play
throughout the arena. The crowd is cheering wildly as
Tommy Purr appears on the steel stage with Bombshell
at his side. Tommy wears his baby blue ring attire,
covered up with his long black overcoat while wearing
a black newsboy cap. Looped in one hand is his black
leather whip. As Tommy and Bombshell saunter down the
steel rampway, Tommy jolts forward a bit and points
directly into the air, setting off an explosion of
black and baby blue-colored confetti into the air as
the fans continue cheering!
Tommy slaps hands with some of the fans as Bombshell
delivers some hand slaps and a kiss on the cheek to a
young fan on the other side of the aisleway. Bombshell
stays on the outside of the ring as Tommy jumps up
onto the ring apron and flips backward over the
top-rope and into the ring. Tommy takes his free hand,
briskly takes off his newsboy cap, and points at the
audience with it, setting off a series of four pyros
that erupt from the ringposts! The crowd continues to
cheer as Tommy continues pointing to each occupied
side of the arena, each section trying to cheer louder
than the one before it. Tommy smiles and takes off his
coat and hands all of his garments to Bombshell before
pumping himself up in the ring as the multicolored
lights continue flashing.

Gimmick: Since skyrocketing to fame at the age of
nineteen in 2000 in the Professional Wrestling world,
Tommy has experimented with all sorts of gimmicks ...
wealthy aristocrat, pompous playboy, shrieking
schizophrenic, and ingenious manager. A lot has
changed in the past year since Tommy Purr has been
away from the ring ... nowadays, he's reverting back
to what made him popular and appealing, a young and
inspiring grappler whose personality alone made him
marketable without a gimmick.
Bio/History:
Tommy Purr -- born Thomas Isamu Watanabe
-- never wanted to be a Professional Wrestler. In
fact, his fame was a mere matter of being at the right
place at the right time. Growing up with aspirations
of becoming the next Jack Nicholson and someday
winning an Academy Award, Tommy grew up in a wealthy
neighborhood in Los Angeles, California under the
guardianship of his Italian/Puerto Rican father,
Jonathan Starsmore, a legend in the wrestling business
as one of the top road agents and managers.
When Tommy turned fourteen, he came to accept the fact
that he was gay and openly talked about the issue,
telling his best friends Precious Fairchild and Yvonne
Peterson (two women who would later join him in his
journey up the food chain in wrestling). With his
father constantly off convorting with a different
mistress every night, Tommy was practically an orphan
with a credit card. At eighteen, after graduating,
Jonathan found out his son's not-so-secret "secret,"
and kicked him out of the house. Taking residence with
the Fairchild family, Tommy secretly wanted to even
the score with his father, who had always referred to
him as a "pansy," and told his son, "If I wanted to
raise a queer, I would've adopted Boy George!"
Training under the tutelage of Roberto De Lucas -- one
of Jonathan's biggest rivals -- Tommy learned the
ropes of wrestling while Roberto acted like his
surrogate father. Training with other hopeful rookies,
Tommy had his eyes set more on revenge than success,
training with one of his future biggest rivals of all
time ... a young Gary Mac! With Roberto realizing
Tommy's potential, Tommy was trained in the style of
Lucha Libre with his thirst for revenge fueling his
desire to learn every move. Soon, Tommy took up
kickboxing lessons with Tula Rodriguez, a former rival
of his mother's ... Mya Hayes -- real name Sumiko
Watanabe -- who was the only female to hold the World
Heavyweight Championship in the wrestling
organizations in Japan. With various styles under his
belt, Tommy learned Spanish from Tula and eventually
signed up for his father's wrestling academy under the
identity of "Raoul Phoenix," constantly wearing a mask
to practice each and every day as way to build
"mystique." Soon, Tommy began dazzling his father as
well as upsetting all of his "golden boys," various
bullies that had once pushed Tommy around when he was
younger.
During a live event for the local children's hospital
in L.A., Tommy -- or Raoul -- took center-stage in the
Main Event, and won the match-up. At the very end,
Tommy shocked the hell out of everyone when he
unmasked himself and the members of the roster threw
tantrums about Tommy's presence in the academy the
entire time! Jonathan still didn't learn his lesson
and instead, booted his son to the curb once again.
That's when Daniel Carney, the young Chairman and
owner of the WWA: World Wrestling Alliance, offered
Tommy a contract to wrestle exclusively for him ... on
television with full benefits. In the end, though
Jonathan and his boys drove Tommy from the academy,
Tommy had the last laugh when he debuted on WWA
Television on the first enstallment of Saturday Night
Whoop Ass during the summer of 2000!
While going through a plethora of wrestling
organizations (including the original EWA, the EWF,
hWo, WWA, XHWF, and even as a manager in the
short-lived Female International Rasslin' Empire,
Tommy has gained many accolades and achievements along
the way, most notably the hWo International
Championship, the XHWF World Heavyweight Championship,
and the first-ever EWF Lord of the Ring and
Intercontinental Titles. This young man has proven a
lot to everyone and has broken the modern stereotype
of the modern gay male ... overcoming a difficult
birth that not only took the life of his older twin as
well as almost taking his own, battling an eating
disorder, being rejected by both his mother and
father, and dealing with the good and bad politics of
wrestling, Tommy has proven that as long as you keep
your spirits high, and stay optimistic, anything is
possible. Just like wrestling ... "never say never."
Although Tommy has, since his last appearance, become
a father (he and Yvonne eventually took part in
artificial insemination to produce a set of twins,
Christopher Keller Peterson and Tula Amberly Purr), he
still holds that charm and personality that draws
people (fans mostly) to him. Legally changing his last
name to "Purr" and his middle name to "Robert,"
thereby severing all ties with his mother and father,
Tommy is ready to jumpstart his career after his
much-needed rest. Watch out everyone ... hide your men
and lock up your boys ... because the Tommyknocker is
locked, cocked, and fully loaded.
