EWA Presents: Pandemonium

(Earlier this week. )

( The scene opens inside PTB’s office. He’s writing on his papers, stamping some kind of approval, and scanning through contracts. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not until Dave Chain pushes through the office door and comes storming to Patrick’s desk. )

Dave Chain: Look at this.

( Dave hands Patrick the newspaper. )

Patrick T. Bannion: Yeah, what about it?

Dave Chain: Do you see what it says? I’ve been fired. That’s a typo, right?

Patrick T. Bannion: The only mistake is security letting you in here. Now please remove yourself before the security does it for you, bloody peasant.

Dave Chain: Listen you little asshole, this is -- this EWA -- its mine.

Patrick T. Bannion: Yours, Keller’s, the fan in the front row and the crazy guy off the street. You all claim to own it, but none of you seem to have those papers. Where are those papers, Mr Chain? Where could we possibly find those papers? Well, they might be --

( Patrick goes through his drawer. )

Patrick T. Bannion: -- Why yes, yes here they are. Now lets just scan for a signature.

( Patrick fingers his way down the contract. )

Patrick T. Bannion: Yes, here’s the name. Patrick Bannion. Dashing fellow, I must say. Do you know where we could POSSIBLY find him?

Dave Chain: Yeah. Clever. You’re a real clever man, Bannion. We’ll see who gets the last laugh though, won’t we?

( Dave knocks the books and papers off PTB’s desk and storms out. )

( The Pay-Per-View opens with huge explosions as the camera is directed at the Pandemonium set, and then pans around the sold-out crowd. Signs fill the arena from 'RIP: BUTCHER' to 'PURR FOR CHAMP' and then the scene cuts down to ringside, where Maura Downs and Louis Carvanelie are sitting at ringside. They have huge smiles on their faces as they prepare for the EWA Pandemonium Pay-Per-View. )

Maura Downs: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Pandemonium, and what an event we have for you tonight.

Louis Carvanelie: Last week, Sam Hain was attacked by none other than the mind-freak, who returned last week on Tsunami and will be taking on John Steele tonight in a number one contendership match. But that's not all, as the tag titles are on the line, Tornado and Hank take on the team of Tyler Bouchet and Kyle Rock! Christian Cage and Malinko re-light their fire, as Malinko challenges for the World Of Pain Championship, and our main event tonight, a Four Way Dance... Butcher... Sam Hain... Tommy Purr... and Christian Cage is double booked tonight, as he'll be in the main event also!

Maura Downs: After last week, we aren't sure how Tommy Purr and Christian Cage are going to get through this night, but one things for certain, things are going to be very interesting tonight. For one thing, we still don't know where Butcher is, or if he'll even be here but right now, we got to get this show started... Up first, Azariel and Ender take on none other than Jayson Keller, in a Your Fired Match! The loser is fired!

Louis Carvanelie: And if you're wondering why Jayson Keller is wrestling, he is not in fact the owner of EWA, a Mr. Patrick T. Bannion is the owner, and he is the one who ordered this match to take place.

FLASH

( Flash back to just before the beginning of the show. )

(The scene cuts to the EWA medical office where The Great Malinko in an incredibly weakened state is being examined by the EWA’s house doctor. He seems to be shaking his head and arguing with Malinko who is too weak to but much emphasis to his points. )

Doctor: You can’t wrestle in this condition...you can hardly even stand! Your muscle mass has decreased over 30% in the last week, I’m surprised your even alive.

( Malinko’s voice was week but still commanding. )

Malinko: L-l-last I heard if I passed the drug test I could wrestle, h-h-has this changed?

Doctor: No...but look at the condition your in.

Malinko: You let me worry about my c-c-condition...I’ll be well enough to get into the ring, and after that it’s up to C-c-cage to start wor-r-r-rying.

( Just then Patrick T. Bannion enters the room and cuts off yet another plea for Malinko to pull out of the match. Bannion looks the Doctor straight in the eye. )

PTB: Did he pass the test?

Doctor: Ah...yes sir...but I think..

PTB: Excellent. Then he can fight. Keller’s restriction on this match was his idea to begin with.

Doctor: Sir, I really think you should take a look at him.

PTB: Why the hell would I have to look....what the bloody hell did you do to yourself?

( As the Doctor moved out of the way Bannion caught a good look at the reduced Malinko. )

PTB: Can you even fight like this?

Malinko: I-I-I’ll be fine...g-g-give me a f-f-few hours.

PTB: Very good...the match continues as scheduled.

Doctor: But...

PTB: No buts Doctor... the match continues...clear him.

( Malinko sits up and staggers off the bed and uses the wall to walk himself to the exit. )

Malinko: You don’t n-n-need me here for the formalities do you?

Doctor: No but I seriously do think you should reconsider. Where are you going anyway?

Malinko: To g-g-get a s-s-second opinion.

( And with that Malinko shuffled off out of the room and down the hall way. )

Tag Team "You're Fired Match
Jayson Keller / ??? V. Azariel / The Ender

( Both The Ender and Azariel are in the ring already. "King of my World" hits and the fans go to their feet. Keller is this time booed to the ring. Jayson steps in, wearing his old wrestling attire of jean shorts and a over vest saying "JK" on the back. "King of My World" continues to play until Jayson gets into the center of the ring. Both The Ender and Azariel wait for Jayson’s partner. )

Maura Down: Anyone?

( Jayson attacks the Ender and the match is underway. Keller clothesline Ender down, Azariel goes in to take advantage but is knocked down with a bicycle kick by Keller. The Ender quickly gets back to his feet, but Keller whips him into the ropes. Ender comes back and Keller hit’s a turnaround spinebuster. Azariel gets up and nails Keller with a forearm from behind, taking Keller down. Azariel starts stomping into JK, not letting him up … Well, until … )

Maura Down: Who’s that coming to the ring? IT’S JAYSON KELLER’S PARTNER!

( To everyone’s surprise, the lights dim down as someone runs into the ring and the lights spell out in the ring …

S.S.B

… Everyone goes crazy. SSB throws Azariel out of the ring, then The Ender, then sets up a lemonaide stand and prepares a turkey in the oven! Azariel shakes off the shock and slide back in the ring. Keller super kicks him, causing Azariel to lose his balance and fall back into the turnbuckle. Jayson kneels down on his hands and knees, allowing SSB to jump off his back into a body splash. Jayson rolls out of the ring, and squeezes some lemons into a cup. SSB applies a rear wrist lock, causing Azariel to scream in pain, until The Ender comes in with the save. Ender runs into SSB, causing him to lose grip of Azariel, Giving SSB just enough time to drop kick The Ender in the knee, and rolling over, grabbing Azariel’s leg, and tripping him. SSB holds onto Azariel’s leg, applying a half boston crab. )

Maura Down: Oh no!

Louis Carvenelie: What, is SSB is trouble?

Maura Down: No, JK is over seasoning the turkey!

( SSB walks over and tags in Keller. Keller goes into the ring and hip tosses The Ender, then DDTs Azariel. SSB adds some sugar to the lemonaide, then begins making some Stuffing. Keller goes to the apron, The Ender stands up, and Keller springs off the top rope and hit’s a missile drop kick. Azariel goes to stand up, but Jayson kicks him right across the head. Speaking of turkey, even though we weren’t, SSB slides it in the oven and turns on the timer. Keller scissor kicks The Ender just before the Ender could stand up. Speaking of scissors -- There, that’s a MUCH better transition -- SSB cuts open a nice package of already sliced cranberry bread and sets it on a plate. Then rolls back into the ring to serve up a can … OF ASS WHOOPING! SSB rolls up Azariel with a school boy just as Keller was sliding The Ender into a pin. )

DING DING!

Louis Carvenelie: Is it over already, the referee didn’t even count?

Maura Down: No, that was just the oven. The turkey is done.

( One, Two, Three! )

DING DING!

Maura Down: There, that was the match. Keller and SSB have taken these kids to school, and giving them their first homework assignment. A paper. PINK paper that is. They’ve been fired from EWA.

FLASH

( The lights go out in the arena. Everyone is fussing, trying to figure out just who’s coming to the ring, or what surprise lurks in the darkness. Both Jayson and Steve look at each other almost accusingly, but both are showing signs of curiosity. )

M.I.N.D. F.R.E.A.K

( Everyone goes to their feet for the entrance of Chris Angel. But the words quickly fade away and are replaced by … )

ANGEL ERA 2004

( The fans go silent, unsure of what this means. SSB and Keller leave to the fans approval of their match. )

FLASH

( Malinko sits in his dressing room with three empty glass jars sitting at his feet, and a old tattered tan belt strapped around his arm. A slightly dirty obese man wearing a pair of scratched bifocals nelt at his side holding a syringe firmly in his right arm while he slowly pumped the fluid in. )

Man: Are you sure about this sir. That’s three...I didn’t think anybody could handle more the two at a time. Four may very well kill you.

Malinko: Look at me! I haven’t had in three days! I’m still too weak, I need the fourth.

Man: But sir, it’s pure adrenalin. There’s no saying what final effect it will have on your body.

Malinko: My body is already dead. NOW DO IT!

( The man loads up a fourth syringe and prepared one of the few veins left in that arm that has not collapsed yet from this excessive abuse of his own body. The fluid entered slowly and filled Malinko with the sense of power he needed, he could feel all the strength he had lost back in his body. It was finally time to go back to do what he had come for. He was the bringer of death. He was the Fourth Horseman. )

Universal Contenders Match
John Steele V. Chris Angel

( John is seen backstage, walking to the stage. He is quickly stopped by the Business Associates. All ten of them. )

John Steele: Yes?

Business Associate: Mr Bannion wishes to speak with you.

John Steele: I have a match.

Business Associate: You’ll speak with him now.

John Steele: But --

Business Associate: Now!

( Steele cocks his head and clenches his fist -- but then breathes out and relaxes. )

John Steele: Fine.

( All ten Business Associates surround Steele, with one signaling for Steele to follow. Keeping John Steele encircled, the ten men lead Steele past several pointing and snickering men and even some custodians who back nervously away, until they reach Patrick T Bannion’s office. Steele enters the office, and the Business Associates close the door behind them. The camera slowly rotates around, showing PTB reading the EWA
magazine. )

Patrick T Bannion: A good magazine, if I must say so myself.

( Patrick lowers the magazine and looks at Steele. )

Patrick T Bannion: Mr Steele, I -

John Steele: I have a match, you’re not going to screw me over!

Patrick T Bannion: It seems you have an owner stereotype about me. I am not Jayson Keller. I am not all those other clichéd owners who do nothing but get bad fan reactions and screw over the EWA superstars. I won’t be shoving myself in all the angles or taking the spotlight from those who truly deserve it.

John Steele: Oh? Then why are you wasting my time, when I have a match?

Patrick T Bannion: That’s just the problem. There is no match. Chris Angel hasn’t even shown up to the arena as far as I’m informed. And lets face it, I’m always informed. I run the show after all. Now, I’ve never been a wrestler, nor have I ever ran a wrestling show in the past, but I’m quite sure it takes more than one man in the ring to hold a match. I regret you inform you that you’re Contendership match is off.

John Steele: Off? How is that not screwing your EWA superstars? Impartial my ass.

Patrick T Bannion: I never said anything about being impartial. I’m also not screwing you over. Mr Steele, I like you. You’re a good way to get this business rolling. I can market you. I can promote you. I see ratings in your future.

John Steele: And?

Patrick T Bannion: And so you’re not losing this match. You’re declared the winner by default. You’ll go on to December’s pay per view, to be named at the end of the show, and compete against the Universal champion. With one exception: You have to do something for me.

John Steele: Which is?

Patrick T Bannion: Camera operator, you’re dismissed.

( And the camera feed suddenly cuts out. )

FLASH

( The scene shows inside the locker room area, where there's yet another door with an "X". )

TAG TEAM TABLE MATCH
Bouchet and Rock V. HANK WILLIAMS AND TORNADO

( 'The Worlds Greatest' hits the PA system and the fans immediately boo as Tornado and Hank Williams make their presence known. They point down to the ring and start laughing hysterically, as they make their way down. Bouchet and Rock are in the ring and are waiting for their opponents, as after a few moments, they find Tornado and Hank standing outside the ring. )

Maura Downs: Look at the huge presence of that tag team there, and Bouchet and Rock have got their hands full.

Louis Carvanelie: Exactly what can they do to take down this team?

( Bouchet and Rock waste no time as they both hit the ropes and baseball slide Hank and Tornado, who both stumble backwards. Bouchet goes to the ropes and hits a suicide dive on Hank, knocking him towards the ramp, and Rock dives over the top rope with a crossbody on Tornado, who catches him, but Bouchet low blows Tornado, and Tornado drops Rock who lands on his feet. Bouchet looks under the apron, and drags out a kendo stick, and smashes it down on Tornados head, as Rock has grabbed a chair. Another shot with the kendo stick on Tornados head sees it broken in half, as Tornado doesn't appear to know where he is. Meanwhile, Hank has got to hsi feet, straight into a steel chair shot that rings out throughout the arena, and Hank and Tornado have fallen down to the floor! )

Maura Downs: Well, these are unique tactics, but all legal, as the match hasn't even started yet.

Louis Carvanelie: But how the hell are Bouchet and Rock going to haul Hank and Tornado into the ring to make a cover, or even start the damn match?

Maura Downs: Good point...

( Rock brings the chair down a few more times on both of his opponents and throws the dented chair away. Bouchet and Rock slide into the ring, and wait for their opponents to get to their feet. After several minutes, Tornado and Hank begin to get to their feet, and Tornados first up, touching his head and looking at the blood on his hands. He gets seriously angry and slides into the ring, at which point the bell rings and the match has begun, and Bouchet and Rock hit him with a double dropkick, which sends him back into the ropes. Bouchet and Rock try and whip him across the ring, but to no avail, as Tornado fights it as much as he can. He then double clothslines them and picks up Bouchet, and throws him outside of the ring. Tornado drags Rock to his feet and ignores the punches thrown at him, and slams his knee into his midsection... AND HITS THE TORNADO RIDE!!! He covers. 1......2.....3!! TORNADO AND HANK ARE THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!! )

Maura Downs: Tornado and Hank have done it!! Those are our tag team champions!

Louis Carvanelie: The sheer power of Tornado proved too much.

World Of Pain Title
Christian Cage (c) V. The Great Malinko

'The End' hits the arena and clouds of smoke engulf the entrance way, as Malinko passes through them, and makes his way down the ramp, as the crowd boo and jeer the former Universal Champion. He makes his way into the ring and pushes past the ring announcer, and climbs the turnbuckle, raising his arms to boos from the crowd, and throwing his hands in the way signalling he doesn't care as 'Seek and Destroy' replaces his theme music, and out walks the World Of Pain Champion...

Maura Downs: When these two meet Louis, you know you are in for something special, and special is what we are going to get tonight.

Louis Carvanelie: A former Universal Champion meets a former two time Universal Champion, for the World Of Pain Championship!

Maura Downs: Cage and Malinko are no strangers to one another, but both men have changed, so it should be interesting to see where this one goes!

Louis Carvanelie: Look at the hatred looks as Malinko and Cage are just looking daggers at eachother... There's hatred mixed in with respect with these two superstars!

Malinko and Cage lock up, and Malinko pushes Cage into the corner, and hits a knife edge chop on Cage, and then whips him into the corner hard, as Cage smashes his back onto the turnbuckle and comes back into a clothsline. Malinko stomps down a couple of times on Cage and then brings him to his feet but Cage hits a right hand on Malinko and begins fighting back, and then blocks a right hand, and grabs Malinkos legs and throws him onto his back, and goes to lock in the SharpShooter, but Malinko is fighting it, and using his leg strength, he flips Cage over, and gets to his feet, taking Cage down with a clothsline. Malinko then goes for the Make a Wish, but Cage quickly makes his way to the ropes, and grabs Malinkos foot before he can kick him in the head, and pushes Malinko down, getting to his feet and dropping an elbow. He gets to his feet and drops another elbow, and lifts Malinko to his feet, hitting a european uppercut on Malinko and knocking him back, hitting the ropes, and hitting a shoulder block on Malinko, staggering Malinko but not knocking him down. Again Cage hits the ropes and goes for a shoulder block, but again Malinko stays on his feet. Cage goes for the ropes again and ducks a clothsline attempt from Malinko, hitting the opposite ropes and then hitting Malinko with a flying shoulder block, taking Malinko down. He quickly gets to his feet and begins stomping down on Malinko, as Malinko gets to his feet and shoots an elbow in Cages ribs, and takes him down, mounted punches before he is kicked off by Cage. He immediately drops an elbow on Cage, and keeps him down, before shooting off the ropes, and jumping Cage who gets to his feet, and then Malinko ducks a right hand, and hits a jawbreaker. Cage goes down and Malinko brings Cage back to his feet, but Cage fires a couple of rights before Malinko stops the attack with a knee to the gut, and then raises Cage above his head, pressing him!

Maura Downs: Malinko showing amazing strength there, and Cage has to combat this new-found strength from Malinko.

Louis Carvanelie: That's right Maura, these two have re-heated their rivalry, but Malinko is a new man since Cage met him last.

00hrs:05min:00sec

Malinko drops Cage, but Cage amazingly lands on his feet, and hits a standing dropkick to Malinkos jaw, sending him back into the ropes!! Malinko bounces from the ropes into an armdrag into an armbar. Malinko seems in trouble, but gets to his knees and then to his feet, with Cage still having the armbar locked in. Malinko throws his elbow behind him a couple of times before connecting with Cage, who is forced to release the hold. Malinko hits the ropes and Cage goes down looking for the back body drop, but Malinko kicks Cage in the face, and hits a swinging neckbreaker. Cage hits the mat, and Malinko rolls him over and tries to lock in the Make A Wish again, Malinkos old finisher, but Cage fights off of it, and looks for a right hand, but Malinko ducks it, and goes for the Last Rights, but Cage reverses that, and hits a DDT instead. Christian Cage drops another elbow onto the back of Malinkos neck, and then looks for the sharpshooter, but Malinko crawls to the ropes and Cage has to release the hold. Malinko gets to his feet and is drawn into a fist fight. Cage goes for a right, but Malinko blocks, and goes for a right which Cage blocks, and then the two both go back into the ropes, and both look for a clothsline and hit it, and both go down. The referee begins the ten count, but both men get up pretty quickly and stare eachother down. They again start brawling, as Cage looks like he's taking advantage, but Malinko kicks him in the gut, and throws him up onto his shoulders, looking for the F-5, BUT CAGE REVERSES WITH A TORNADO DDT!! Malinko goes down, and Cage, rather uncharacteristically goes to the top rope. He dives off for a splash, BUT MALINKO MOVES!! Malinko gets to his feet, and looks down at Cage. He gives him a stiff kick to the ribs, and then HE goes to the top rope. Cage looks motionless after crashing to the mat, as Malinko looks for the Diving Headbutt, BUT CAGE MOVES THIS TIME!! Both men are down now again, and the ref starts the ten count again.

Maura Downs: Cage and Malinko have always been known for fantastic match-ups, and this one doesn't look like it'll dissappoint!
Louis Carvanelie: These men had a bitter rivalry before, and ended when Malinko took the Universal Championship from Cage. This is another title match, but the rules are different, the men have changed, and it's for the World Of Pain title!
Maura Downs: It should be interesting to see how each man has evolved, and right now, things are pretty even.

At around six, both men get to their knees. Malinko hits a right hand to the face, but Cage comes back with one of his own. Both men get to their feet, trading punches, when Malinko whips Cage into the turnbuckle. He runs and drives Cage into the corner with his shoulders, and then utilizes his power with the shoulder thrusts, weakening Cage, and then whips Cage across the ring, and clothslines him in the other corner. Malinko steps back, and heads in Cages direction, looking for the spear, but Cage rolls out of the way and onto the apron, and Malinko spears the ring post!! Cage climbs up onto the turnbuckle, and grabs Malinkos legs, AND LOCKS IN A SHARPSHOOTER WHILE MALINKO IS HUNG BETWEEN THE MIDDLE ROPES!!

Maura Downs: What a unique Sharpshooter from Christian Cage!!

Louis Carvanelie: But he can't win with that move Maura, it's an illegal hold. Malinko is in the ropes!!

Maura Downs: But Christian Cage is just weakening Malinko, ignoring the refs warnings. He has to be careful he doesn't get disqualified.

Cage finally releases the sharpshooter, and jumps to the apron, and knees Malinko in the head, sending him back into the ring. He climbs to the top turnbuckle, and dives off, hitting a perfect elbow drop. He hooks the leg... 1.....2....(Malinko kicks out)

Maura Downs: Amazingly, that is the first cover of this match-up, and I believe this match is about more than just the World Of Pain title, it's about hurting eachother as much as possible.

Louis Carvanelie: That might be true Maura, but so far, no weapons have been used, which of course are legal in this type of match!

Cage looks a little shocked that Malinko kicked out of the pin, and drags him to his feet, and hits the point of his elbow on the back of Malinkos head, keeping him up all the while, and then going for a suplex, but Malinko counters, and hits a reverse DDT. Malinko is the first to his feet, with Cage following closely. Malinko hits a short-arm clothsline knocking Cage down and then goes to the top rope again. Cage gets to his feet and Malinko dives off and hits a cross body on Cage, but Cage rolls through with a cover, but Malinko kicks out. Cage and Malinko get to their feet, and Malinko kicks Cage in the gut, and into the powerbomb position. He raises him up, and scores with the powerbomb, falling down and covering Cage. 1.....2....(Cage kicks out) Malinko shakes his head and drags Cage back up to his feet, and hits another powerbomb!!! Malinko covers again. 1.......2......(Cage just gets the shoulder up!)

Maura Downs: There's that never say die attitude of Cage that has earned him the two Universal Championship victories he has achieved.

Louis Carvanelie: And Malinko has to be wondering, what is it going to take!?

Malinko again drags Cage to his feet, and again looks for the powerbomb, a third one, but Cage somehow falls out of it, and kicks Malinko in the gut, and drops Malinko with a striking DDT, that sends Malinkos head straight into the mat. Malinkos body seemingly hangs in mid-air, rigid, before falling to the mat. Cage must have the match won, as he hooks the leg over, almost rolling Malinko over. 1......2....(Malinko gets the shoulder up) Cage slams his hands down on the mat, and slowly makes his way back to his feet. He goes to drag Malinko to his feet, but Malinko rolls him up in a small package!! 1....Cage kicks out! Malinko is still down though, and Cage quickly stomps down on Malinko to ensure he stays down. This time he succeeds in dragging Malinko to his feet and whips him into the ropes, and hits a spinebuster on Malinko, hitting the ropes and then a legdrop, and then the cover. 1....2..(Malinko kicks out) Cage doesn't believe it and quickly slides under the bottom rope and to the outside. He yells at the ring announcer to get off his damn chair, and the ring announcer dives out of the way of an angry Cage, and Cage grabs the steel chair. He slides it into the ring and then throws up the ring apron, dragging out a ladder!! He slides that into the ring as well, but Malinko is getting to his feet, and he has one hand on the chair... Malinko spots Cage getting into the ring and decides to play possum, as Cage sets up the table and has his back turned, Malinko nips up to his feet, and has the chair in his hands... Christian Cage turns, STRAIGHT INTO A VICOUS CHAIR SHOT TO THE SKULL, WHICH AMAZINGLY DOESN'T KNOCK CAGE DOWN!! Blood pours down Cages face as Malinko hits the ropes, and runs straight at Cage, WHO HIGH BACK BODYDROPS MALINKO THROUGH THE TABLE!! Malinko crashes through the table, and Cage collapses backwards, inadvertedly covering Malinko. 1.....2.....MALINKO GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!

Maura Downs: What a vile chair shot to the skull, and Christian Cage may have sneaked one there with the backdrop through the table, but somehow Malinko got the shoulder up!! What a match we are witnessing tonight!!

Louis Carvanelie: I don't know how Cage was still standing after that chair shot, but he somehow got that backdrop in, and Malinko is refusing to give up as well. These two warriors are going to battle until the very end, and that doesn't bode well for Christian Cage, who has another match, STRAIGHT AFTER THIS ONE!!

Maura Downs: And many would argue that is more important, for the Universal Championship, but maybe Cage considers this one even more so, because of his history with Malinko!

Both men are down, but Malinko surprisingly is the first to his feet, with Cage down on the mat and bleeding. Malinko rolls out of the ring and rests against the apron for a few moments, before actually going UNDER THE RING!! Cage meanwhile, is getting to his feet, wiping blood from his eyes, and looking around for Malinko. A confused expression spreads across his face, as he looks around for Malinko. Malinko meanwhile, slides out from under the ring behind Cage, who is looking up the ramp confused. Malinko has a sledge hammer and a bag tied around his waist... He slides into the ring unawares and runs at Cage with the sledgehammer, but Cage turns at the last second, and ducks Malinkos sledgehammer, shooting Malinko over the top rope and sends him crashing down to the floor below! Cage slides under the bottom rope and picks up Malinko from the floor, and slams his head down on the ring apron, and then whips him into the crowd barrier, and drives him into it with his shoulders. He drags him away, and then hangs him up onto the crowd barrier. He climbs up onto the ring apron, and legdrops Malinko who is hanging slightly off the crowd barrier, RVD style! Cage then drags Malinko to his feet, somehow finding the energy deep down to still fight, and goes to whip Malinko into the steel steps, BUT MALINKO REVERSES AND CAGE CRASHES INTO THE STEEL STEPS!! Malinko gets a sick look on his face and turns, spotting the sledgehammer he was going to use only moments earlier! Cage is resting against the steel steps, as Malinko picks up the hammer and walks around to Cage, who is breathing heavily and losing a lot of blood. MALINKO SWINGS THE SLEDGEHAMMER VIOLENTLY DOWN, BUT CAGE MOVES, and the sound of the hammer against the steel steps plays havoc with everybodies ears, as Cage drop toe holds Malinko down onto the steel steps!! Malinkos face gets slammed down onto the steps, and Cage gets to his feet, and furiously slams down Malinkos face onto the steel several times, and then rolls Malinko into the ring. The ref has cleared the debris in the ring and also thrown out the chair and Cage notices this, throwing up the apron and collecting a few more weapons.

00hrs:2min:50sec

Maura Downs: The referee got rid of all the items in the ring, but Cage is having none of it, going for more weapons!

Louis Carvanelie: Both men are giving everything, and are adding another horrific chapter to their gruesome tale!

Maura Downs: But who will emerge victorious from this match, if anybody!? Nobody looks like a winner right now, with both men bleeding and wearing the proverbial crimson mask!

It's true, as Malinko has been busted open as well, and is bleeding a lot too. Christian Cage meanwhile has a cover. 1......2.....(Malinko just gets the shoulder up before the three!) Christian Cage is furious and grabs a steel chair... He shouts at Malinko to get to his feet and Malinko does so, though very slowly, and Cage drops the chair, AND DDTS MALINKO STRAIGHT DOWN ONTO IT!! He covers again... 1.....2....(Malinko just kicks out!) Cage can't believe his luck, as he hasn't been able to put Malinko away, and grabs the steel chair again. It takes Malinko a long time to get to his feet but he does, and Cage swings even more wild with the chair, but Malinko manages to evade it, and literally falls back into the ropes, while Cages hands are wringing with pain from the shocks of the chair, which he is still holding, UNTIL ITS BOOTED INTO HIS FACE BY MALINKO!!! Malinko falls down and drapes an arm over Cage. 1......2......(Cage just kicks out)

Maura Downs: HOW THE HELL ARE THESE TWO MEN STILL WRESTLING!?

Louis Carvanelie: It's all instinct driving them Maura, I bet they'll have to watch a video to remember everything they've done after this!

Maura Downs: That's if they even survive tonight!!

Both men are down, but eventually both men get to their feet, just as the refs count reached an eight, and start brawling again, trading punches, weaker though as the match progresses, but Malinko kicks Cage in the chest, and Cage throws a punch out, but misses and Malinko hits a full nelson slam!! He unties that bag that still is around his waist, and empties the contents onto the mat!! IT'S THUMBTACS!!

Maura Downs: That's thumbtacs Louis, the familiar weapon making an appearence, which puts serious pain on your opponent!!

Louis Carvanelie: And what's Malinko doing now, HE'S GOING FOR A DAMN PEDIGREE ONTO THE THUMBTACS!!

Maura Downs: BUT CAGE REVERESES WITH A BACK BODYDROP!!

Fortunately for Malinko, he missed the tacs that are strewn all over the mat, and Cage grabs Malinko off the mat, and raises his hands in the air. He wants to drop Malinko on the tacs, but Malinko shrugs him off and puts as much effort as he can afford into punches aimed directly at Cages face, and he manages to knock him back into the ropes. He goes for a right but Cage sends him over the top rope, where Malinko lands on the apron. Cage turns around, and is hung up on the top rope, as Malinko jumps up onto the turnbuckle. Cage teeters dangerously in front of the tacs, AND MALINKO HITS A MISSILE DROPKICK ONTO CAGE!! Cage doesn't fall but instead is knocked back into the ropes, the tacs sticking into his boots. He staggers near the tacs again as Malinko goes to the top rope again, and DIVES OFF FOR A CROSSBODY, CONNECTING AND SENDING CAGE INTO THE TACS!! Cage rolls over though, AND MALINKO GETS A BACKFUL OF TACS AS WELL!! Blood drips from various tacs stuck in the back, and the two men get to their feet.

Maura Downs: CAGE AND MALINKO WERE ROLLING AROUND ON THOSE DAMN TACS!! IS THERE ANYTHING THESE TWO WON'T DO!?

Louis Carvanelie: EACH MAN WANTS TO BEAT THE OTHER SO BAD, THEY ARE GOING TO HELL AND BACK!!

Malinko leans against the ropes, and Cage clothslines him over the top rope, but Cages momentum takes him over as well, and the two slam down next to the announcers table. After a few moments, the bloody wrestlers get to their feet and again trade punches, working with as much as they can, as Cage takes a swing, but Malinko grabs Cage around the throat, and lifts him up for a chokeslam, but Cage moves off and instead locks his hand around Malinkos throat, AND CHOKESLAMS HIM ONTO THE TABLE!! The table though, doesn't break right through, and Cage quickly moves around the ring, and picks up the ladder which was removed from the ring. He sets it up next to the table and begins to climb, slowly but surely, rung by rung. He reaches the top and looks around at the standing crowd... He jumps off and wants the splash onto Malinko, but Malinko rolls out of the way toppling off the table, AND CAGE CRASHES THROUGH!! The debris smashed against Malinko though, and both men are down on the outside. The referee checks both men, and then orders the bell to be rung.....

00hrs:01min:07sec

Maura Downs: He's declared the match a no-contest!!

Louis Carvanelie: Cage keeps his title, in a no-contest. Malinko AND Cage I believe won't like that decision one bit!

Ring Announcer: This match has been declared a..... NO CONTEST!! Christian Cage remains the World Of Pain Champion!!

Meanwhile, amazingly, Cage and Malinko have got to their feet. Instead of going for one another though, they instead approach the referee, and get into a heated argument with him. They bitterly tell him to reverse the decision, and the referee tries to say something but fear stops the words from coming out. Cage throws a punch at the referee, AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME AS MALINKO, AND THE REFEREE IS KNOCKED OUT!!! Cage and Malinko now approach the ring announcer, who immediately gets the idea....

Ring Announcer: The decision ladies and gentlemen has been reversed, and the World Of Pain Championship match will continue until a winner is decided.

Maura Downs: You were right Louis, they didn't like that decision, AND NOW MALINKO WITH A CHEAP SHOT TO THE BACK OF CAGE!!

Louis Carvanelie: Cage was happy with the reversed decision, but probably not with that cheap shot, as Cage is rolled back into the ring...

Malinko rolls back into the ring and advances on Cage, as blood stains the ring, and Malinko bends down to pick up Cage, but Cage rakes Malinkos eyes, and flips him onto his back, AND LOCKS IN THE SHARPSHOOTER!! Malinko crawls and crawls to the ropes, and finally makes the bottom rope, but Cage drags him out to the middle of the ring, and Malinko crawls to the other ropes, and manages to grab them but again, Cage brings him to the centre of the ring. Finally, Malinko taps out. He's tapping and the crowd are going wild, but there's no referee!! Cage releases the hold and leans over the top rope at the referee who is still down. He climbs out of the ring and slaps the referee around the face, trying to wake him up from unconciousness. He rolls him back into the ring but the referee is lifeless. Cage looks frustrated as he makes his way back into the ring as Malinko gets to his feet, a little unsteady. Cage grabs him by the head, BUT MALINKO QUICKLY TURNS AROUND AND LOCKS IN THE LAST RIGHTS!!! Malinko has his finisher locked in and Cage is in trouble.... He shakes his finger in the air but eventually, the shaking gets less and less, as Malinko locks in the hold tighter, and Cage is forced to tap out. But again, there's no referee to make the call. Malinko is the one now trying to revive the referee, but to no avail. Malinko drags the referee to his feet, AND HITS A PILEDRIVER ON THE LIFELESS REFEREE!!!

Maura Downs: OH COME ON, WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?

Louis Carvanelie: Frustration that the referee wasn't there to make the call, led to that devastating piledriver, and now EMTs are making their way to the ring, and it's now certain that the referee won't be making a call in a long time...

Malinko turns into a stiff kick from Cage, who DDTs Malinko onto the thumbtacs, and locks in the Sharpshooter again, as a referee runs to the ring. Blood pours down Malinkos face and pain is written all over his face, AS HE TAPS OUT!! CHRISTIAN CAGE HAS DEFENDED HIS TITLE!!

Maura Downs: What a bloody, bloody chapter in the Malinko/Cage story, but this time it's Cage with the victory, defending his title!

Louis Carvanelie: And we won't forget this one in a hurry. What a match, and both wrestlers gave everything they had...

Maura Downs: But Cages night isn't over... He's got a match-up next, for the Universal Championship!!

FLASH

( Christian Cage begins to leave when the timer hits zero, and as the crowd begins to quiet down, the lights in the arena begin to dim apart from bright lights shooting from the entrance ramp along with smoke, as 'The Power' by H-Block X begin so play out over the PA systems. As the song kicks in, the man who calls himself 'The Headliner' walks through the smokoe and in view of the crowd. Jay Edwards puts his hands on his hips and looks round at the crowd who are on the feet cheering. Jay gives a little sneer, pats his chest and then points to the crowd, before heading down to the ring. Jay quickly hurries up the ring stairs and climbs into the ring )

Maura Downs: It's Jay Edwards!

( Jay begins laying into an already beaten Christian Cage, knocking him off balance. Jay takes the WoP title and slams it across The Great Malinko's head. Malinko barely even feels it. Going on a roid rage, Malinko grabs Jay by the throat and throws him into turnbuckle. Malinko charges at Jay, but Jay puts a boot up. The boot has no affect, except pissing Malinko off. Malinko goes to throw a hard punch, but Jay holds up the title as a shield, causing Malinko to smash his fist against a gold plate. Jay rolls out of the ring as "The Power" repeats playing. The fans are going crazy for The Headliners return. )

Some claps are heard from no-where, and Dave Chain rolls into the camera shot, in a wheel chair. A beautiful looking nurse rolls him in and he sort of nods his head, restriction due to the neck-brace he has on, and the nurse walks away. He looks battered and beaten, and his eyes tell the whole story. Blood-shot, sleep deprived eyes and a grimace which shows pain.

Dave Chain:
What a night so far. What a night! I'm proud of each and every superstar we have on this roster, and two of them just proved what a fantastic company this really is. Two incredibly fantastic individuals in and out of the ring, Christian Cage, and THE GREAT Malinko... in what can only be described as a horrific, bloody war. Which brings me to the reason why I'm not there at the arena, watching it all, but instead am sitting here in a wheel chair, unable to go to the arena. Two weeks ago, Tornado and Hank Williams saw fit to assault me, and literally destroy me on the entrance ramp. After that beating, my body was aching so much, and I was in so much pain I thought I might die, but I continued on... My back was giving me all sorts of trouble and my neck felt like it was going to explode, but I appeared the week after, and did my job in serious pain. Then, just as I was drawn out into the arena to make a match, things went from bad to worse, when Malinko, the Great Malinko as he was once known, attacked me and piledrove me into the stage..... I was immediately taken to hospital, unable to move my body... I still have not been able to move my body from my neck down since that attack, and therefore I've sent a letter to the EWA office, and to Jayson Keller, who well, is not really the owner of the company anymore... The letter explained my situation and explained that I'd need time off, and perhaps it'd be better if he found somone to fulfil my position as Commisioner. Little did I know that I was sending the letter to the wrong man, and as soon as I had sent it off, I got another letter, from a Mr. Patrick T. Bannion, informing me that I was in fact, fired, but because of the position I held, and the circumstances of which I find myself in now, he'll allow me to officially say my piece, live on Pandemonium, which is what I'm doing...

Do I hold a grudge against Tornado and Hank? No, I don't. They were doing what they felt was making a right impact, and good luck to them, just as I believe Malinko had his reasons for what he did... And no, I don't hold a grudge against Malinko either. Many may find that hard to believe, but it's the truth. I know that anything can happen everytime I go to another arena, and because of the position I held, was in substantial risk if people didn't like my decisions. The doctors are hopeful that I'll at least be able to regain feeling in MOST of my body, but don't hold up much hope for me being able to walk again, at least of my own accord. So I sit here now, and look out into that arena. After that last match, I'm sure Malinko and Cage are both being attended to by the wonderful EMTs backstage, doing their best for them. Unfortunately for Cage, he has a match next for the Universal Championship match, against Purr, Hain and Butcher. I wish Christian Cage all the best. Unfortunately, I don't hold much hopes for Butcher being with you all tonight, as I'm in Pittsburg Hospital right now, and rumours are running rampant that this is where Butcher is being held... There is a high-security ward, where Butcher is rumoured to be staying, but I'm not sure that the rumours are true. No-one is allowed anywhere near that ward, and if Butcher is indeed in there, it doesn't look like he'll be coming out for a long time after what happened to him.

So that leaves me with saying this: EWA is a fantastic federation, with some fantastic superstars. It was a pleasure watching EWA evolve, and I know EWA has had more than its fair share of ups, and downs, but I hope the federation continues to survive, and battle it out as one of the best places to work. I enjoyed my time there, and was always a fan, before I eventually ending up getting a job there. I wish everyone the best of luck, and I hope that one day, though I'm not confident, I'll make a return in some way, shape or form. Extreme Wrestling Action... May You Live Forever...

The live action is cut off as the nurse come back into view and takes Dave Chain away...

Maura Downs: We wish Dave Chain the best of luck Louis, but what about the news that Butcher may be in Pittsburg hospital, therefore extremely unlikely he'll be here tonight to defend his title.

Louis Carvanelie: Well, the match is going ahead whether of not he's here, and in all honesty, he hasn't been seen backstage all day, which is unlike Butcher, but we are about to find out, as up next, is the Universal Championship Four Way Dance!!

Universal Unification
Tommy Purr (c) V. Christian Cage (c) V. Sam Hain (c) V. The Butcher (c)

Maura Downs: Well, Tommy Purr and Sam Hain are in the ring, and Cage isn't out here right now. It isn't known whether he'll be here or not after the last match.

Louis Carvanelie: Dressed in war scars, stitches and everything, Cage will be lucky to walk to the ring... He's been cleaned up and stitched up, but that doesn't change the fact he went through a war only moments earlier. What can he do in this match?

Maura Downs: And now Hain and Purr are all anxiously awaiting the Universal Champion, who has neither been seen nor heard from since we saw his limo explode a couple of weeks ago. We are sorry to report that we don't know where he is, or if he is alive. The whole affair is being heavily guarded and unfortunately, we don't know if Butcher will be here tonight.

Louis Carvanelie: That is Butchers theme music you are hearing there, but no sign of the Champion just yet, and Maura, you've got to believe, if Butcher isn't here defending his title, there's got to be something seriously wrong...

Maura Downs: Butcher said that you'd have to kill him in order to take that title. I sure hope that isn't true.

'Kill You' repeats and repeats, with the three competitors in the ring getting agitated. Suddenly, the music stops, and the titantron changes scene, with the screen showing an awful sight. Blood wrapped banages cover what is most probably someones face, in fact, is someones face, as blood-shot eyes peer through the bandages and a mouth is just visible under them as well. The camera zooms out to show someone in a hospital bed, as a creepy, slightly destorted but evidently Butchers voice, talks from behind those bandages.....

The Butcher: You got me..... Whoever you are, whatever you wanted... You did it... Congratulations. Well, those congratulations are ok as long as that is what you intended to do, just take me out, but if you intended to kill me, I'm sorry, you failed... However, my existence is worse now than if you would have killed me. Doctors battling everyday to try and save my dwindling life. The one shining light in my life, wrestling, taken away from me, by someone, for some reason I don't even know. And now, I look on at the PPV, Pandemonium, and see three seriously talented individuals fighting for MY title, and I can't even be there. Do you know how that feels? To be deprived of such a challenge, to defend my title and be the fighting champion I always claimed I was... Do you even know how that feels? Doctors telling me how they could lose me anyday soon, and that just appearing on TV and emitting this emotion could be causing all kinds of damage to me. Doctors telling me that the chances of me, The Butcher, BCW Heavyweight Champion, EWA Universal Champion, the man who ended Da Maniacs career, battled warriors like Davlin McCaine, The Great Malinko and Layton Matthews and survived to tell the tale and poured his heart, his soul, his blood, sweat and tears into everything he ever did, and THEY are telling me that the chances of survival are slim!? So I guess you all want to know why I chose to show my face, or at least the remains of it, when this case was so heavily under wraps you people didn't even know if I was in the limo or not!? Well, the reason I decided to do this was because I didn't want to just disappear. No, no matter what you do to me, I'll always, ALWAYS, have the last word... The Butchers Era could end today, it could end tomorrow, or any other time, and I didn't want to go quietly. I said didn't I, that you'd have to kill me to take my title, but now it looks like I'm going to watch the match take place in front of my very eyes, incapable of doing anything, and watch while Christian Cage, Tommy Purr and Sam Hain have the greatest opportunity EWA has granted them, and battle it out for the EWA Universal Championship.... I wanted to wish each man good luck... Good luck, and I hope you cherish that title as much as I did, and show the same dedication and heart that I did...

My time with EWA has been truly special, and I mean that. I've enjoyed working with so many talented individuals and would have liked to work with many more, but the fact of the matter is I'm not sure I'll ever be able to. Just like everything else though, I'll do my best to fight everything, and do everything I can to keep myself alive. I'll battle with myself in the ultimate war, and I sincerly hope I win. I've still got business to finish off, but the likelyhood is that even if I escape with my life, I'll never be able to wrestle, but just live an... incomplete... life. But I just want to let the attacker know..... I'll be back... and when I am, hell hath no fury. When I get back, nobody will be able to take me down, NOBODY!! That Universal Championship belt is rightly mine... I'll be back... AND THE BLOOD.... WILL.... BE.... ON YOUR HANDS!!

( The scene ends as the bell rings, and the fans are drawn away from the titantron! )
UNIFICATION MATCH: UNIVERSAL, TV AND US TITLES
TOMMY PURR V. CHRISTIAN CAGE V. SAM HAIN

Maura Downs: Well, we know Butcher won't be involved in this match, but Christian Cage is still a big question mark.

Louis Carvanelie: This match has dwindled into a one on one situation for now.

( For a few moments Purr and Hain stand there in shocked silence, but Hain attacks Purr from behind and goes on the attack, ramming his knee into Purrs ribs while he's down and then dropping an elbow across his back, and quickly hooking the leg, but Purr kicks out straight away and gets to his feet into a clothsline from Hain. Hain rakes Purrs back and then whips him into the ropes, before hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Purr goes down and Hain keeps stomping away at his back. )

Maura Downs: Hain taking full advantage of Purrs injured back, which he suffered last week in that cage match...

Louis Carvanelie: After Hain conveniently placed a rigged table in the ring, which led to a no contest, which incidentally, helped Purr keep his title, but led to more pain for himself and Cage.

Maura Downs: Which in turn led to this Four Way Dance being set up, which is now a one on one... The TV Champion Purr taking on the US Champion Hain...

Louis Carvanelie: And after this match, they'll be no more US title, no more TV title, but someone other than the Butcher WILL be the Universal Champion!

( Purr pulls himself up using the ropes, and hits a right hand on Hain, but Hain is relentless in his attack on Purrs back, before he irish whips him into the ropes, and raises his knee into Purrs mid-section, sending Purr over and onto his back. Purr rolls over and tries to make his way to his feet, but when he's on all fours, Hain drops an elbow across his back. He waits for Purr to once again try and get up before dropping another elbow across the back. Hain lifts Purr to his feet, and whips him into the ropes again, but Purr uses his agility and jumps up onto the ropes, hitting a springboard crossbody on Hain. Hain gets to his feet, into a leg scissors takedown from Purr, and then an armdrag when he gets back to his feet. Purr whips Hain into the ropes and ducks under him as he comes back, and then hits a monkey flip on Hain, sending him across the ring. Purr holds his back as he gets to his feet as Hain is leaning against the ropes, Purr quickly hits a 619 onto Hains back, sending him staggering into the middle of the ring, then jumping up onto the ropes, and hitting a springboard dropkick onto Hain sending him onto the middle rope. The crowd rise to their feet, as Purr hits the ropes and quickly goes for the 619 again, but Hain ducks out of the way, and out of the ring. Purr beckons him back in the ring, but Hain is taking his time on the outside. Purr gets a little fed up of waiting and slides under the bottom rope, chasing Hain around the ring, as Hain slides back in, and when Purr slides back in, Hain quickly goes to work on the back again. )

Maura Downs: Sneaky tactics from Sam Hain, a former tag team champion and the current US Champion, but will Hain make that next step in his career and capture the EWA Universal Championship tonight, and be the man who unifies the titles?

Louis Carvanelie: Time will tell Maura, and it looks as if Cage won't be involved in this match either at this stage...

(Purr tries to get to his feet but Hain keeps kicking him down, but then drags him to his feet and throws him into the corner. He chops at Purrs chest again and again, and Purr is reeling in pain. He goes for a knife edge chop and connects hard, blistering Purrs chest, and then whips Purr into the opposite corner. He runs at Purr, who dives over Hain and rolls him up, but Hain quickly kicks out. Purr gets to his feet, and walks straight into a hellacious clothsline, sending him flipping over!  Purr lands on the mat, and Hain drags him back to the corner and throws him up against the turnbuckles. Purr begins to fight back with some right hands, but Hain drives his shoulders into Purrs ribs, and sends his back back into the corner, and places him on the second turnbuckle.... He looks for the Final Descent, but Purr twists and turns and turns it into a hurracanrana, and what a counter, as Hain is shocked by it, and gets to his feet, straight into a double legged dropkick, sending Hain back into the ropes, and then Purr clothslines Sam Hain over the top rope, and he crashes to the floor on the outside. )

Maura Downs: What a counter to the Final Descent, and Purr has gained the advantage in this match-up, and Hain is getting a little frustrated here.

Louis Carvanelie: Hain trying to get in the ring, BUT A BASEBALL SLIDE KNOCKING HIM STRAIGHT BACK INTO THE CROWD BARRIER!!

( Hain hits the crowd barrier and staggers out as Purr hits the opposite ropes and runs foward, AND HITS A SOMERSAULT PLANCHA ON HAIN ON THE OUTSIDE!! Hain is knocked back and Purr is running on adrenaline, and quickly rolls Hain into the ring, and jumps up onto the apron, swinging over with a legdrop across the throat, and then hooking the leg. 1.....2.....(Hain kicks out) Purr stays on the assault though, and drops another leg across the throat, before climbing to the second turnbuckle, as Hain gets to his feet, into a diving shoulder block from the second turnbuckle, sending him straight back down. Purr goes for the lionsault now, but Hain gets the knees up, and Purr lands straight down on them, and stands up from the pain, as Hain quickly goes behind him, and locks the arms, before hitting a German suplex. He keeps the arms locked in, and hits another german suplex. Hain still has the arms locked in as he gets to his feet, and finally hits a release german suplex. Purr is down on the mat, as Hain climbs to the top turnbuckle. He dives off and hits a legdrop across Purrs throat, and hooks the leg. 1.......2......(Purr got the shoulder up)

Maura Downs: This match is back and forth, and Purr is trying to utilize his speed advantage over Hain, which is a tactic which is proving somewhat inconsistent wouldn't you say Louis?

Louis Carvanelie: I would do Maura, his tactic works for the most part, but once Hain gets in a powermove, or cuts Purr down, he begins to work the back again, and Purr is being slowly disected in the ring, softening him up for the Final Descent, where Hain will capture the Universal Championship match!

( Hain drags Purr to his feet and smacks him with a right to the face, which sends Purr to his knees. Purr gets back to his feet, and Hain goes for a firemans carry, but Purr lands on his feet, and hits the ropes, coming back and hitting a Tornado DDT onto Hain. Purr then jumps to the top rope, and looks back at Hain, before going for the moonsault, which he misses! Hain rolled out of the way. Now Hain slowly climbs to the top rope, but Purr is getting to his feet, and he quickly runs up the turnbuckle, but Hain pushes him back down to the mat, and hits a splash from the top rope! He hooks the leg. 1........2......(Purr gets the shoulder up) Hain grabs the leg and kicks at the thigh, and puts Purr into a leglock. Purr is calling out in pain, and he tries and reach over to grab Hain, but Hain is too out of reach. Hain locks in the leg-lock tighter, and tighter as Purr crawls and crawls, until he can nearly grab the ropes, and with one last effort, grabs the ropes. Hain lets go of Purr only to drag him away from the ropes and begin to work the leg again. )

Maura Downs: He's going to take out Purrs legs and take away his speed.

Louis Carvanelie: If he does that one, this ones over!

( Hain puts Purr in a figure four leg lock straight in the centre of the ring, and Purr is yelling in pain. The referee is asking him if he wants to quit, and Purr is yelling no. He keeps trying to turn on his front, and reverse the pressure, but everytime he tries, Hain applies more pressure. Purr throws a punch, which Hain dodges. Hain has an intense look in his eye which he wipes off for a second to smirk at Purr, at which point Purr quickly turns over, and reverses the pressure. Hain is in pain for a few seconds, before releasing the hold and getting to his feet. Hain walks over to Purr, who reaches up and pulls Hain into a small package, but Hain kicks out at 2. Hain gets to his feet and Purr hobbles to his, pain still going through his legs. Hain goes for Purr, who chops him across the chest. Hain is detered for a second, before going back for Purr, who ducks under the legs, and kicks him into the turnbuckle. Hain smashes his head on the second turnbuckle, and Purr runs up his back, doing a flip backwards and dropkicking the back of Hains head again into the turnbuckle. Purr immediately goes for his leg, collapsing for a second, and then going back on the offence. Hain turns around, and gets to his feet, just in time to boot Purr in the face as Purr makes a run at him, and then Hain goes for a backdrop, but Purr lands on his feet, but the pain causes him to stop, and Hain hits an uppercut on Purr sending him into the corner. He places him up onto the top rope and goes to the second. He wants the Final Descent, but Purr reverses into a Frankensteiner!! Hain is everywhere as he gets to his feet, straight into a drop toe hold, onto the middle rope. PURR HITS THE 619!! Hain flips back into the ring, and Purr climbs out onto the apron. )

Maura Downs: If Purr can hit the Purrfection, he'll be our new Universal Champion!!

Louis Carvanelie: WAIT A SECOND... IT'S CHRISTIAN CAGE!!

( Purr made to jump up onto the top rope, but Christian Cage climbed up onto the apron beside him, and pulled him off, throwing Purr to the floor. He steps over the ropes and takes Sam Hain down with a right hand, and then begins stomping madly away at Hain, again and again, knocking him into the corner. )

Maura Downs: The crowd are going crazy. Christian Cage has been stictched up and bandaged up, and he's out here for the Universal Championship!

Louis Carvanelie: The man is crazy Maura!! He shouldn't be out here wrestling!

( Sam Hain gets to his feet and Christian Cage lifts him off his feet, and has the stalling vertical suplex on Hain, holding him there. Finally, Cage brings Hain crashing down, and displays his joy for the crowd, who are fired up in this match-up. Purr has made his way to the top rope though, and dives off for a crossbody, but Cage catches him, and hits a fallaway slam on Purr. Hain has struggled to his feet, and gets a clothsline from Cage, and then Cage turns to Purr, who has palled himself by the ropes, and he boots Purr out of the ring. He turns back to Hain, who makes an attempt to fight back, but Cage elbows him in the side of the head, and hits a spinebuster on Hain, and then pulls him into the Sharpshooter!! Hain is screaming in pain, but he pulls himself closer to the ropes. The referee is in his face, but Hain is refusing to quit. He pulls himself foward more, and Cage tightens the hold, which leaves Hain in more pain, but he manages to make one last attempt, and grab the ropes, but no, Cage pulls him back into the centre of the ring. Hain raises his hand, ready to tap, BUT PURR WITH A SPRINGBOARD DROPKICK TO CAGE!! Cage releases the hold and Hain rolls out of harms way. Purr gets to his feet and so does Cage, and Purr clothslines Cage down, hits the ropes and drops a leg across the throat of Cage. Cage again tries to get to his feet but Purr goes for a lionsault, but Cage catches him on his shoulder and slams him down to the mat. Purr is left reeling as Hain comes back and slams his forearm across Cages back, but Cage elbows him in the ribs, and hits a pump handle slam on Hain. Cage stumbles back into the ropes and is leaning against them, as Purr and Hain are both down on the mat. )

Maura Downs: Christian Cage is giving everything he has, but he must be hurting more than he's letting on.

Louis Carvanelie: Purr and Hain have been fighting for quite some time and Cage has taken advantage of that, but he also had a hellacious match before this one.

Maura Downs: All three men are giving everything they have to be the one to unify the US, TV and Universal Championships!

( Someone runs into the ring. It's CYRIL ACHESTON! Cyril lays into Cage with some punches, but Sam Hain doesn't appreciate the uninvited Cyril, as Hain attacks from behind. Hain lays a fist into the back of Cyril's head, but Cyril just turns around, kicks Hain in the stomach and DDTs him to the mat. Hain was just too tired to take on a fresh man. Tommy looks up, unaware of what just happened or who that is in the ring or why he's here, looks at Cyril confused. Tommy points to both Hain and Cage, as if asking what happened. Cyril shrugs like he doesn't know. Tommy walks over, to check on his opponents, but Cyril hits the Silencer on Tommy's face, and slides out of the room. Cage is just now lifting himself up. )

Maura Downs: What was he doing here?

( Cage finally falls to the mat, and covers Sam Hain. 1.......2.....(Hain gets the shoulder up) Cage crawls over to Purr instead, and hooks the leg. 1......2....(Purr gets the shoulder up) Cage gets to his feet and looks down at both opponents, and looks over at the turnbuckle and then at the crowd, who get the idea, and all rise to their feet and cheer. Cage quickly ascends the turnbuckle, or as quickly as he can, and looks down at Purr and Hain. He decides to go for Hain, and misses a splash off the top rope. Hain rolls back over and drapes an arm over Cage. 1......2.....(Cage gets his shoulder up) Now Purr has got to his feet, and he's on the turnbuckle. He goes for the Swanton, AND HITS THE SWANTON ON CAGE!! He covers... 1........2........(Sam Hain breaks up the count) Sam Hain instead coves Cage...  1......2......(Purr breaks up the count) All three men are down, and slowly they all begin to get to their feet. Hain hits a punch on Cage, who hits a punch on Purr, who hits a punch on Hain, and the three men exchange punches in the centre of the ring. Hain clothslines Purr down and turns to Cage, and they begin exchanging rights and lefts, making their way over to the ropes. Purr makes his way over and double dropkicks them onto the middle ropes... The crowd go wild, as Purr goes the opposite ropes, AND HITS A DOUBLE 619!! Cage and Hain get knocked into the centre of the ring, and Purr is exhausted, and he stands on the apron. He jumps off as Hain and Cage get to their feet, but Cage and Hain catch him, and hit a double spinebuster move onto Purr!! Purr is left reeling as he rolls out of the ring, and lies motionless on the outside. Cage turns to Hain and gets fist to the face, as Hain whips him into the ropes, and hits a belly to belly suplex. The ref is checking on Purr on the outside and Hain takes advantage as Cage gets to his feet, and hits a low-blow on Cage, and then DDTs him to the mat, just as the referee slides into the ring... The fans are booing as the ref makes the count... 1........2......NO!! CAGE GOT THE SHOULDER UP!! )

Maura Downs: Hain trying to steal one, but somehow Christian Cage is still alive!! Tommy Purr has been temporarily taken out of action due to that devastating spinebuster which took its toll on his already injured back.

Louis Carvanelie: And it looks as if Sam Hain is in the driving seat right now!

( Hain drags Cage to his feet, and hooks him up for a Razors Edge, but on the mat instead of the usual turnbuckle, but Cage fights out of it and hits the ropes, before spearing Hain to the mat. Both men are down now and Purr is down on the outside. Slowly but surely, Cage and Hain get to their feet again and Cage fights Hain to the corner. He whips him into the opposite ropes, and clothslines him into the corner. Hain comes out and Cage hits a underhook powerbomb on Hain, before going to the top rope. He beckons Hain to his feet, but Hain slowly gets up, pulling himself up using the referee, until he turns to face Cage, who looks for a missile dropkick, BUT GETS THE REFEREE!! Hain ducked out of the way at the last second and Cage knocked out the referee!! Cage is shocked for a moment, and Hain takes advantage yet again with another low-blow. Hain rolls out of the ring to grab a steel chair! )

Maura Downs: Dammit Hain, what are you doing now? Hasn't Cage been through enough?

Louis Carvanelie: He doesn't care Maura, he simply doesn't care. He wants the title, and he'll do anything to get it!

Maura Downs: You damn right he will, but its simply wrong!

( Sam Hain slides into the ring and raises the chair up high, BUT CAGE USES HAINS DIRTY TACTICS AGAINST HIM, and kicks Hain low, forcing him to drop the chair, AND THEN DDTs HIM STRAIGHT DOWN ONTO IT, a move used earlier on in the night. Tommy Purr has made his way up though, and looks for the Tommyknocker on Cage, but Cage rolls out of the way, AND CLOTHSLINES PURR OVER THE TOP ROPE!! He covers Sam Hain, as the referee has enough wits about him now to make a count. 1......2.....3!!! CHRISTIAN CAGE HAS DONE IT!! )

Maura Downs: CHRISTIAN CAGE HAS DONE IT!! HE OVERCAME ALL OBSTACLES AND HAS BECOME THE 3 TIME UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!!

Louis Carvanelie: THAT IS UNPRECEDENTED!! 3 TIME UNIVERSAL CHAMPION!!

Maura Downs: Tonight was Christian Cages night, and he takes home the gold. What a night ladies and gentlemen!

( Clapping is heard replacing Cages music, and Cages attention is turned towards the titantron, where Butchers banaged face appears on the screen. )

Maura Downs: What's all this about?

Louis Carvanelie: That's, well, that's Butcher... but what does he want now...

The Butcher:
Congratulations Christian Cage... New Universal Champion. Three time Universal Champion in fact. Very impressive. Extremely impressive. The man who unified the US, TV and Universal Championships, and a legend in this business. You've been through hell tonight haven't you Cage. However, let me show you some footage of a couple of weeks ago...

Butchers banaged face disappears, and a scene is shown. The reckage of Butchers limo... Fire everywhere shown on this security video, as footsteps are heard over the sirens of what is evidently a fire-engine making its way to the arena. Butchers body lies twisted and mangled, burnt and not moving as the footsteps draw closer. In the ring, horror is written all over Cages face, as he appears in the picture. It's not all too clear, but it's definently Cage. He walks up to Butcher laughing, AND THEN SPITS DOWN ON HIM!! He mouths something that can't be heard, and moves on out of the picture!

Maura Downs: Wha- It was Cage all along!! Christian Cage was the mystery attacker!

Louis Carvanelie: That was, was truly sick. Not even I can condone Christian Cages actions!

The Butcher:
That's right Cage, I know you were the one who tried to attack me several times before blowing the hell out of the limo with me in it. All for what? Christian Cage, make no mistake. I might not be back now, or next week, or next month, or even in a year, but i WILL have my revenge. Make no mistake Christian Cage, for the pain you've been through tonight, is NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING like the pain I experienced being blown apart!! You WILL feel my pain Christian Cage, you WILL... But until that time, I've got something to show you...

Butcher slowly unwraps the bandages covering his face.

Maura Downs: What's he doing? Is he supposed to be doing that?

Louis Carvanelie: I don't think so, but what the- AAARGH!!

Maura Downs: Oh my-

Screams echo around the arena, and even a few people crying, as Cage looks ready to puke his guts out... Butcher unwrapped his bandages to unveil his 'face'... Or what's left of it. It's blistered up beyond recognition, burnt and scarred, and doesn't even look like a face. You can make out the eyes, which are blood-shot red, and a slit represents the mouth from which Butcher speaks... It's truly a disgusting sight, and made even more as the camera draws closer to him...

The Butcher:
YOU SEE WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME CAGE!! LET THIS FACE HAUNT YOUR DREAMS!! LET THIS FACE BE WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO, WHEN YOU ARE OUT WITH YOUR CHILD, WHEN YOU ARE OUT IN THE RING, DEFENDING MY TITLE!!! LET THIS FACE REMIND YOU OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE, AND LET IT HAUNT YOU FOREVER, UNTIL I'M READY TO COME AND DO THE SAME TO YOU!! LET THIS BE A CONSTANT REMINDER... BECAUSE CAGE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU MAY DENY THE BUTCHERS ERA, YOU'VE MADE SURE OF SOMETHING!! NOBODY WILL EVER FORGET ME, ESPECIALLY YOU!! THE BUTCHERS ERA WILL BE RUNNING STRONG, EVEN WITHOUT ME AROUND, AND WHETHER YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF THIS OR NOT, THE BLOOD.... WILL... BE ON YOUR HANDS...!!

( Butchers disfigured 'face' and Cage standing in shocked silence... )
FLASH

( PTB is seen in his office. )

Patrick T Bannion: Ugh. Thanks Butcher, we all wanted to see that. Yeah.

( PTB shakes his head. )

Patrick T Bannion: There goes the buyrate. Well, due to recent events, with Cage becoming the Three time champion, and John Steele being his December opponent, I've decide to name the next payperview: Steele Cage.

( PTB rotates his shoulders. )

Patrick T Bannion: And likewise, the match will be just that. Now, as far as ...

00hr:00min:00sec

Patrick T Bannion: Oh shit ...

( The camera quickly pans to the ring. Tommy Purr is the last man in the ring. The Business Associates are just about to climb in the ring when ... )

Patrick T Bannion: My plans! Don't ruin my plans! Bloody hell!

( ... All the Associates run out of the ring when they see who slides into the ring after the timer hits zero. Tommy looks up slowly, dramatically, to see... )

Maura Downs: Mike Victory just saves Tommy Purr from a PTB attack! Why is Victory here? Why was PTB attacking Tommy?!

( Fade to backstage. )

FLASH

( Christian Cage is beaten and bruised, holding one of the two titles he's taking home tonight. He turns the corner to go to his locker room, when he walks straight into a gun point. On the other end of the gun is the new kid, Zayl. Zayl holds the gun, sweat dripping down his face, and grabs the title of Cage's shoulder. Cage stays still, but his facial express changes to pissed. Still holding the gun at Cage, Zayl takes off with a grin. )
