US CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH :: SAM HAIN (C) VS ENDER

Maura Downs: What a match we have for you to begin Tsunami, as Ender challenges Sam Hain for the United States Championship... in a ladder match. Louis Carvanelie: And there you see the United States title hung above the ring, but which superstar will pull it down. Maura Downs: There are ladders surrounding the ring, and no doubt a few more under the ring as well, and be sure that both superstars will try and use the ladder to their advantage, as well as to get to the title, they'll be using that ladder to hurt their opponent. Louis Carvanelie: That isn't the only weapon they can use. Remember, there are no count-outs, pin falls or submissions, or disqualifications. The only way to win the match is climb the ladder, and grab the title, but it's a lot more difficult than it sounds, especially with your opponent intent on knocking you down.

'In the End' plays across the arena, and the challenger for the US Championship makes his way to the ring. He slides into the ring, and loosens up a little, watching the entrance ramp closely, as his music dies down. Hains music replaces Enders, and the champion walks out onto the stage, his tag team championship gold strapped around his waist, whilst the US Championship is slung over his shoulder. He makes his way down the ramp, and eyes the numerous ladders that surround the ring. He slides into the ring and takes off his tag team title belt, and hands both belts to the ref. The ref raises the US championship belt, signalling the match is for the title, and then proceeds to unnecessarily explain the rules.

Maura Downs: Ender and Azariel had a convincing win over Tornado and Eric Flaherty last week at Retribution Louis, and are looking more solid as a team in my eyes, so not only will this have indications as to the direction of the US title, but maybe the tag team titles as well? Louis Carvanelie: True. Ender and Azariel are becoming the Los Guerreros of the EWA... Lying, cheating and stealing... Maura Downs: What makes you say that? Louis Carvanelie: Just take a look at how they won the match at Retribution... (A clip is shown of Retributions tag team match) Maura Downs: I see what you mean, but they were only countering Tornados and Flahertys dirty tactics... Louis Carvanelie: Anyway, we have a ladder match to call Maura, and we are about to begin... Both men staring eachother down here, as the ref hands over those fantastic belts to the announcer... And we are all set for an explosion when this sets off...

Ender takes down Hain with a right hand, and begins the US Championship match. Hain gets to his feet and straight into another right hand, rocking him to the ground. Another right hand and Hain is down again, as Ender drops the elbow. He roars to his own approval and climbs the turnbuckle, but he took a second too long, and Hain hits a foream across the back, and drags Ender down, smashing his head into the turnbuckle. Then he hits a back body drop and climbs the turnbuckle, before hitting a twisting legdrop on the challenger. Ender gets to his feet and takes a right hand to the face, but delivers another back, before getting Hain in a headlock, but Hain pushes him into the ropes, and ducks a clothsline attempt, and Ender comes back off the ropes, into a knee to the face. Hain then hits the ropes and drops a headbutt on Ender, before dragging him to his feet, hitting a right hand, and pushing him into the ropes, running foward but Ender throws him over, as Hain lands on the apron, and Ender turns into a clothsline. Hain jumps over the top rope, flipping into a legdrop across Enders throat. Hain drags Ender back to his feet, but Ender rakes the eyes, and then scores with a throat thrust on Hain, sending him back into the ropes. He then grabs Hains legs, and sends him on his back, before hitting a guilotine. Hain clutches at his throat, but soon feels the sting of a boot to it, as Ender goes on the attack. He drags him to his feet and hits a high angle back drop, sending Hain down on his neck. He covers, grating his elbow against Hains face. 1.....2....(Hain kicks out)

Maura Downs: Remember, the winner of this match goes on to face either Tornado or Marshall Gates next week for the US title. That means that whoever wins this match, be it Sam Hain, he'll have to defend his championship again, two weeks in a row, or Ender, who'll have to defend the championship for the first time, a week after it's been won. Louis Carvanelie: That's what championships are for Maura, and Tornado, angry that he hasn't been getting any high profile matches, demanding well, something, from Keller, and Keller gave it to him. A match with Marshall Gates, and the winner takes on the US Champion next week. Now, if that isn't an opportunity, I don't know what is.

Ender covers again, and again placing his elbow over Hains face, grating across the nose. 1.....2....(Hain kicks out again) Ender covers again, this time forcefully hooking the leg. 1.....2..(Hain kicks out yet again)

Maura Downs: Ender forcing Hain to kick out, excerting the champions energy. Louis Carvanelie: With every pin attempt Hain kicks out of, he is forced to use more energy, and Ender can take advantage of that.

Ender gets to his feet, and lets Hain get up of his own accord, before clothslining him to the mat. Hain gets to his feet, into another clothsline, and then Hain is dragged to the corner, and propped against the turnbuckle, as Ender pushes his head back, putting pressure on the neck. He snapmares him out of the corner, and pulls back on the neck, driving his knee into Hains back. Hain raises his arms in the air and clenches and unclenches his fists, keeping the feeling in them. Hain gets to his knees, and then quickly gets out of the hold, hitting a jawbreaker, and Ender falls back into the ropes, and goes for a dropkick, but Ender holds onto the ropes and Hain falls short. Ender jumps up onto the second rope and dives off into an elbow drop. Sam Hain gets to his feet, and holds onto the ropes, as Ender goes up behind him, but finds himself on the recieving end of an outstretched elbow, which catches him in the face. He is knocked back, but goes back for Hain, who ducks a shot from Ender, and then continually hits shots the ribs, again and again, before hitting a haymaker, nearly knocking Ender over the top rope, but he pulls him back in, and goes for a DDT, but Ender holds onto the ropes, and counters the move.

Maura Downs: Nice counter move there from Ender, aware of where exactly he is in the ring. Louis Carvanelie: This match is proving to be a great opener, and what better way to begin the night with a title defence. Maura Downs: Sam Hain remember, met Ender a couple of weeks ago, and Ender walked away with the victory, which lead to this match-up today.

Sam Hain slowly gets to his feet, and Ender hits a powerbomb on Hain, and then slides out of the ring. He grabs the ladder on the outside and pushes it into the ring. He slides into the ring and pulls the ladder up, setting it up in the centre of the ring, and climbing up for the title, but Sam Hain gets to his feet, and pushes the ladder over, but Ender lands on his feet, and goes for a clothsline on Hain, but Hain ducks under it, and hits a sidewalk slam. The ladder balances on the ropes, and Hain pulls it back up, giving a kick to Ender for emphasis, and climbing up the ladder. He gets to the third rung when Ender grabs the bottom of the ladder, and Hain decides to jump off, and slam the ladder down on Ender before pulling it back up and laying it against the corner. Ender gets to his feet, body aching from the ladder being thrown down on him, and blocks a right from Hain, whipping him into the ropes, and then hitting a big back body drop, straight onto the ladder!!

Maura Downs: HAINS BODY MUST BE BROKEN IN HALF AFTER THAT BODY DROP ON THE LADDER!! Louis Carvanelie: Use the ladder to your advantage, and take out your opponent, freeing yourself up to go for the win. Maura Downs: That damaged the ladder, but I'm sure it damaged Hain even more, and at the moment, the champion isn't looking too good.

Hain hit the ladder and rolled down to the mat, and Ender is now stomping away on him, before throwing the ladder down on Hain and hitting the ropes, hitting a senton on the ladder, driving it into Hain. Hain writhes in pain, and knocks the ladder off of him, and Ender sets up the ladder in the centre of the ring, over Sam Hain. He climbs up and reaches the fourth rung, as Hain suddenly finds a burst of life, and pushes one side of the ladder, tipping it over, and sending Ender over and hanging him up on the top rope! Enders face is one of both excrutiating pain and hilarity for his opponent, who can't help but grin at the look of Ender on the top rope. Hain gets to his feet, and dropkicks him off the top rope, to the floor on the outside.

Maura Downs: Here's Hains opportunity, to climb the ladder and retain his championship. Louis Carvanelie: And that's exactly what he's doing, as the ladder is once again set up in the middle of the ring. Maura Downs: He's making steady progress up the ladder, but his body must be aching so much...

Hain reaches one below the top rung, just as Ender slides into the ring, and Hain spots him, but Ender grabs a hold of his foot as Hain tries to kick him away, and Ender drags him down off the ladder, smashing Hains face into one of the rungs. Hain holds his face, and gets a clothsline as well. Ender climbs up to the third rung of the ladder, and drops a leg across Enders throat, before getting to his feet, and grabs Hain, throwing him over the top rope and turning back around to face the ladder, but doesn't realise Hain has 'skinned the cat' and is pulling himself back into the ring. He climbs out onto the apron as Ender climbs the ladder, and Hain jumps up, hitting a springboard missile dropkick onto the ladder, sending Ender straight to the mat from near enough the top of the ladder. Hain tries to set the ladder up, but the hinges are broken. Annoyed, Hain slams the ladder, folding it up, and sliding it out of the ring, before grabbing another. He places it in the ring, but before he can get in the ring, Ender is up to his feet, and he hits the ropes, baseball sliding the ladder into Hain. Hain scrambles across the floor, as Ender hits the ropes and then dives over the top rope, hitting a crossbody on Hain. Hain and Ender sprawl across the floor, but it's Ender who slides Hain into the ring. Hain begins getting to his feet, but his head is over the ladder, which is protruding out of the ring. Ender smiles, before jumping out onto the apron, and then diving with his back, sacrificing his body to take out Hain with the ladder, but the see-saw manauevure doesn't work, as Hain moved out of the way. Hain pulls the ladder into the ring, and sets it up, as Ender, holding his back, gets to his feet. Sam Hain spots this, and quickly goes for a baseball slide, but Ender moves out of the way, and drags Hain out of the way, before hitting a right hand, knocking Hain down.

Maura Downs: What a fantastic US Championship we are having tonight, and both Hain and Ender are putting their bodies on the line, and proving why EWA is becoming better and better with each passing week. Louis Carvanelie: You can always trust on ladder matches to provide unique offence, and this one is no different. OUCH!! Ender just whipped Hain into the steel steps! Maura Downs: Hain just went shoulder first into those steel steps, which nearly dislodged with the impact.

Hain is now holding his shoulder in pain, as Ender sizes him up, before running foward going for a spear, but Hain moves out of the way, and Ender crashes the steel steps, knocking them from the corner. Hain begins stomping Ender against the lower part of the steps, and searches under the ring apron, pulling out another ladder. He places it across Enders face, and jumps up onto the apron. He runs across the apron and dives off, looking to drive the ladder into Ender, but Ender counters, throwing the ladder in Hains way.

Maura Downs: Both men countering the others moves, with even more devastating results, and Hain just caught up in that ladder. Louis Carvanelie: But Ender is hurting, after spearing those steel steps, and with both men on the outside, neither man can pick up the victory. Maura Downs: Both men trying to regain their composure on the outside, but Hain is just lying on that ladder.

Hain makes an attempt to get to his feet, as Ender drags himself up by the ring apron. Hain folds up the ladder, and slides it into the ring, as Ender slides in at the same time. Now there is two ladders in the ring and both Hain and Ender scamble a ladder and set it up towards the middle of the ring. Each man climbs an individual ladder and both reach the top at near enough the same time, trading shots at the top of the ladders. They take a step up onto the top rung, and are balancing dangerously, as Ender swings, but Hain ducks, causing Ender to lose his balance a little, as Hain steps over, AND HITS A TWISTING REVERSE DDT ONTO ENDER FROM THE TOP OF THE LADDER!! Ender took the brunt of the fall, but the fall also winded Hain, and both men are down, as the ladder rocks back and forth.

Maura Downs: What a reverse DDT that took something from both opponents! Louis Carvanelie: Sam Hain is getting to his feet, and Ender is still down. This could be Hains opportunity to retain his championship gold.

Sam Hain places the ladder up and steadies it, as Ender gets to his feet and starts to climb the ladder as well. Sam Hain and Ender battle at the top of the turnbuckle, but Hain gains the advantage, AND HOOKS ENDER OFF THE LADDER WITH THE FINAL DESCENT!! Hain climbs the final rung and grabs the title, retaining his US Championship!!

Maura Downs: SAM HAIN HAS RETAINED HIS US TITLE IN A HARD FOUGHT LADDER MATCH!!

Louis Carvanelie: Ender was just one step away from grabbing that title, but in the end, Sam Hain ended his chances!

FLASH :: THE BUTCHER ARRIVES

A black limo pulls into the arena, and the driver steps out of the limo. He walks to the door and opens it, and out steps the Universal Champion, The Butcher. He carries a bag over his shoulder and has stitches in his head, and isn't looking too good, but he does have a grin on his face. He nods to the driver and the driver slams the door shut, and Butcher makes his way into the heart of the arena.

Maura Downs: It looks as if Butcher is going to be wrestling here tonight, in our main event against Eric Flaherty. After not being cleared to wrestle, Butcher decided he'd take his leave from the hospital and do what he does best. Kick ass. Louis Carvanelie: He's a well trained athlete, he should know his own limits, but Butcher is a man known to take his limits above and beyond.

Butcher walks down the corridor, and is making his way to his dressing room, when a whole shelving system crashes down with objects flying about. Butcher narrowly avoids the impact, and dives out of the way. He looks shocked, but quickly looks around to see if he can spot anyone. Not having any luck, he continues on through the corridor, keeping a close eye over his shoulder.

Maura Downs: What the hell was that? Another suspicous attempt assault on Butcher, and it seems pretty evident that Butcher is a marked man. Louis Carvanelie: He's the Universal Champion Maura, it's to be expected...

Butcher carries on but just around the corner, he bumps into Dave Chain, who runs straight into him. Butcher looks back to where someone attempted to take him out, and then back at Dave Chain, before grabbing him by the throat and throwing him up against the wall.

The Butcher: If you know who did this you better tell me right now, because I'm not in the mood for games. Who... Is... It?

Dave Chain: I- I don't know what your talking about Butcher, but I'm in a rush... Let me go...

Dave Chain looks genuinly confused, as Butcher lowers him down. He looks at him curiously...

The Butcher: Just remember, when I find out who is doing this, there's going to be HELL to pay!!

Maura Downs: Butcher looked pretty angry there, but who can blame him! Louis Carvanelie: You don't think... you don't think it is Dave Chain conducting these assaults do you? Maura Downs: I don't know. It's a long shot, but we don't know anything about the man, so it's still a possibility.

RETURN MATCH :: THE GREAT MALINKO VS NUCLEAR CAPE VS JOHN STEELE

Maura Downs: We have a triple threat, which is going to be extremely interesting... Malinko, Cape and Steele, in a returns match. We've not seen these guys for a while, and it should be intriguing to see if they've got ring rust, or if they can still hang in the EWA. Louis Carvanelie: All three men with legacies in the wrestling world, Malinko returning after losing the title just over a month ago, to the current champion Butcher. Maura Downs: Butcher will be taking on Eric Flaherty in our main event tonight, but you have to believe, whoever wins this match will be well set up for the future in EWA.

Malinko knocks Cape down with a right hand, then arm drags Steele across the ring, before dropkicking Cape down. He turns into a right from Steele, who whips him into the ropes, and then pulls him into a headlock. Cape gets to his feet and Malinko kicks off him and over Steele, before hitting a bulldog. He gets to his feet and ducks a right hand from Cape, and then rocks him back with a right of his own, but Steele is up and hits a forearm across the back, before delivering a back body drop. He gets to his feet, and Cape takes him down with a standing hurracanrana but Malinko is up this time, and whips him into the ropes, before hitting a huge shoulder block followed by an elbow drop. He turns and blocks a Steele punch, and goes for one of his own, which is promptly blocked as well, and Steele hits a jawbreaker, before grabbing Malinkos legs, and dropping him onto his back, and slingshotting him into the turnbuckle. Malinko hits the turnbuckle and comes back, but Steele dropkicks him back into the turnbuckle, and turns around, into a swinging neckbreaker from Nuclear Cape. Cape climbs to the top rope, over Malinko, but Malinko pulls him down. Cape gets caught up on the top turnbuckle and Malinko climbs up to the second rope, but Steele is up now and goes under Malinko, placing him on his shoulders. Cape gets up onto the top rope, and dives off, but Malinko ducks and Cape crashes to the mat, as Malinko hits a couple of punches on Steele, then rolls him up and gets a two count, as Cape breaks the count.

Maura Downs: Fast paced action to begin with in this triple threat returns match, but I have to say, none of the competitors are showing signs of ring rust. Louis Carvanelie: These guys are professionals Maura, and each one of them wants to win this match-up. Maura Downs: True. Nuclear Cape is a former TV Champion, John Steele is a former World Of Pain and Tag Team Champion and Malinko is a former Television and Universal Champion! There is no denying these three men have talent!

Malinko and Steele get to their feet and trade punches in the ring, but Malinko gets the upper hand, just as Cape takes him out from behind. Malinko falls into Steele who clothslines him to the mat, and Cape hits the ropes, looking for a boot on Steele, who ducks and hits a back elbow on Cape, before snapmaring him to the mat and giving a stiff kick to the back. He turns to Malinko, who gets to his feet, and aims a punch square between the eyes, but Steele ducks under it and hits the ropes, running straight into a tilt-a-whirl slam. Malinko now goes to the top rope, but Cape cuts him off with a right hand and then climbs up onto the second rope. He climbs up a little higher, and then hits a superplex. He covers, but Steele breaks up the count. Steele drags Cape to his feet and knocks him back into the turnbuckle, and then whips him into the opposite turnbuckle and runs and hits a clothsline. Cape falls out of the corner and inadvertedly headbutts Malinko. Steele drags Cape to his feet again and hits a version of the enziguri, but wraps his legs around at the last minute and takes him down with head scissors, and gets to his feet, into a right hand from Malinko, followed by a belly to belly suplex. Malinko does a double elbow drop onto both Cape and Steele, getting to his feet. He climbs the turnbuckle up and displays his new found muscle to the crowd, who are all over Malinko. Meanwhile Cape and Steele have got to their feet, and Malinko jumps off the turnbuckle, only to get his head taken off with a double clothsline.

Maura Downs: Malinko spending too much time there, and that is very unlike Malinko. Louis Carvanelie: Malinko knows exactly what he's doing, and these three men are putting on a clinic. Maura Downs: This match marks the return of each of these superstars, and they all want a victory. Louis Carvanelie: Of course they all want a victory. Damn I need a new announcing partner. Maura Downs: Shut up Louis.

Malinko gets to his feet and Steele and Cape kick him in the gut, and hook him over for the double suplex. Cape goes for the pin, but Steele pulls him off, and the two begin arguing, as Steele pushes Cape into the ropes, but Cape comes back with a right hand, and they start brawling in the middle of the ring. They trip over Malinko and brawl to the outside. They get to their feet and continue brawling as the referee leans over the ropes issuing the warning, AS MALINKO FLIES THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE!!

Maura Downs: Malinko launched his own body as a weapon and just took out Nuclear Cape and John Steele!! Louis Carvanelie: Malinko is a lot bigger than when he left Maura, and just used his own body as a devastating weapon against his opponents.

Malinko gets to his feet and quickly rolls Nuclear Cape into the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and beckons Cape to his feet, and Cape obliges, only to get folded up by a vicous clothsline. Malinko stomps down on Cape, and Steele jumps up onto the apron, Malinko goes to knock him off but Steele moves and hangs him up on the top rope, and Malinko falls back into a school boy by Cape, but kicks out at 2. Malinko and Cape get to their feet and Malinko blocks a right hand, and drops Cape with a DDT, before going for the cover. 1... Steele is on the top rope... 2.....Steele jumps off.... Malinko spots Steele at the last moment and rolls off Cape, as Steele hits a perfect splash on Cape instead but the count is broken. Steele has the cover now, but Malinko pulls him off and Steele gets to his feet. They immediately are drawn into a fist fight, and Steele gains the upper hand, bringing Malinko down, but Malinko now gains the advantage getting back to his feet and bringing Steele down. The two then lock up and Malinko pushes Steele into the turnbuckle, and looks for a clothsline, but Steele ducks out of the way and drives his shoulders into Malinkos ribs, as Cape rushes in from behind looking for a running splash, but Steele moves out of the way, and he gets Malinko instead. Steele then dropkicks Nuclear Cape over the top rope, and covers Malinko. 1.....2.....(Malinko gets the shoulder up)

Maura Downs: Nuclear Cape has been taken out of the match momentarily, and it's down to Steele and Malinko. Louis Carvanelie: Steele whips Malinko into the ropes and hits a lou thesz press on Malinko, but Malinko throws him off of him. Damn Malinko is a lot more powerful these days. Look how much bigger he is Maura! Maura Downs: I can see that Louis, I know how much bigger Malinko is looking...

Malinko gets to his feet and so does Steele, as they both hit the ropes, and hit eachother with consecutive clothslines. Nuclear Cape is up on the top rope now and he looks at both Steele and Malinko on the mat. He dives off for a swanton on Malinko, but Malinko rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. He quickly jumps to his feet, and goes to the top rope. He looks at Cape and Steele, and decides to go for Steele, and dives off for the frog splash, but Steele moves out of the way. Steele now gets to his feet but he doesn't go to the top rope. Instead, he drags Malinko to his feet and whips him into the corner. He then drags Cape up and whips him into the opposite corner. He runs into one corner and hits a version of the poetry in motion, before running to the other side and clothslining Cape in the corner, dragging him out of the corner and whipping him as if into the ropes, but pulling him back into a swinging neckbreaker.

Maura Downs: Malinko dominating in these moments right now, but it's been pretty even thus far wouldn't you say Louis? Louis Carvanelie: Yeah it has. I expect bigger things in the future though.

Steele gets to his feet, and Malinko whips Steele into the ropes, but hangs on as Malinko goes for a dropkick. Nuclear cape meanwhile has slid outside the ring, and grabbed a steel chair. He places it by the corner, and slides back in, and then fairly obviously, unties the padding around the turnbuckle. He rips it off and the ref goes to put the padding back on, and Cape grabs the chair.

Maura Downs: That was quite clever by Nuclear Cape there, and he can take advantage now!

Cape locks eyes on Malinko, and swings the chair directly at his head, but Malinko ducks, and Nuclear Cape smashes the chair across John Steeles skull. Cape looks a little surprised, as Malinko dropkicks the chair into Capes face, sending him back through the ropes, and then kicking the chair out of the ring and making the cover. The ref turns back and makes the count. 1......2.....3!

Maura Downs: Malinko has won the returns match, and with a little help from Nuclear Cape. Louis Carvanelie: And Malinko is making his exit after that victory as Cape slides into the ring... Maura Downs: John Steele is getting to his feet now, and he doesn't look too happy.

Nuclear Cape is grabbing his head, and looks frustrated he didn't get the win. He's pointing at Malinko and yelling something, but John Steele is right behind him and grabs the chair. Cape turns, STRAIGHT INTO A CHAIRSHOT RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!! STEELE THEN GOES CRAZY ON NUCLEAR CAPE, RAMMING THE STEEL CHAIR REPEATEDLY DOWN ON CAPE!! Steele raises the chair high and then makes his exit, leaving a bloody Nuclear Cape in the ring.

Maura Downs: Steele wasn't too happy with the way he lost that match, and Cape paid the price for costing him it. Louis Carvanelie: And what a price! Nuclear Cape left a bloody mess in the middle of the ring. Maura Downs: But what's this? Malinko is getting back into the ring... and Steele hasn't seen him!!

Malinko looks evil as Steele turns around, straight into a quick kick FOLLOWED BY A PILEDRIVER!! Steele hits the mat and bounces up and flat on the mat, laying there motionless. He picks up Nuclear Cape now, AND PILEDRIVES HIM INTO THE MAT AS WELL!! Nuclear Cape and Steele lay motionless on the mat, and Malinko smiles before leaving the ring, carnage inside.

Maura Downs: I don't know what to say. I thought Malinko had left, but this new Malinko is sick and twisted, and I hope Steele and Nuclear Cape are alright. Louis Carvanelie: Malinko has made big, big gains since we last saw him Maura, and gone through some changes.

ANYTHING GOES :: MARSHALL GATES VS TORNADO :: WINNER GETS A US TITLE SHOT NEXT WEEK

Maura Downs: Last time we saw our next two wrestlers, they were brawling in the back... Louis Carvanelie: After Tornado demanded a big match from Jayson Keller, he got exactly what he asked for. Let's just say, don't cross the boss... Maura Downs: Keller wasn't about to be pushed around, and so he made this match an anything goes match, against Marshall Gates, who lost his TV Championship against Purr at Retribution, but he's still the tag team champion.

'Worlds Greatest' hits the arena and out walks the huge form of Tornado, who walks his way down to the ring. He steps over the top rope and glares around the arena, as 'Blood Spawn' now fills the arena.

Maura Downs: Tornado and Gates have a history already in the EWA, and they are going to want to settle it tonight. Louis Carvanelie: Keller made this match after Tornado confronted him backstage at Retribution.

Tornado waits for Marshall Gates but Marshall Gates attacks from behind and Tornado stumbles foward, turning around into some furious right hands from Gates. He pushes him back but Gates uses the ropes as leverage, and fires foward with another big right hand. A couple more right hands and an eye rake, and then a few fists to the ribs, and then a shot low takes Tornado to his knees. Marshall Gates then dropkicks Tornado to the mat, and slides under the ring. He grabs a steel chair and slides into the ring, and goes to swing it at Tornado, but Tornado punches the chair away with his fist, and it clatters to the outside. Gates takes one look at the chair falling to the outside, and manages to duck a clothsline attempt just in time, and hits a right hand on Tornado, and then goes to whip him to the ropes, but Tornado reverses, whipping Gates into the ropes, but Gates counters with a low dropkick to the knee. Tornado goes down on one knee, and Gates hits a right hand, before hitting the ropes, but Tornado explodes from the mat, and hits a huge clothsline on Gates.

Maura Downs: That's all it will take to slow this match down Louis, one big power move from Tornado. Louis Carvanelie: And listen to this crowd, they are all over Tornado... Maura Downs: Tornado seems to have a huge problem with authority! He has put his hands on Dave Chain AND Jayson Keller!!

Tornado stares around and raises his arms, as he places Gates between his legs. He lifts him up, looking for the Tornado Ride, but Gates falls behind him and hits a low blow. Tornado is down again and Gates slides out of the ring, and grabs the fallen chair. He slides it back in and then throws a wooden board into the ring. He slides back in and rests the wooden board across the turnbuckle, like Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon in the King of the Ring street fight, and grabs the chair, cracking it over Tornados head. Tornado then gets to his feet, and Gates smashes his head into the wooden board, and then does it again, as Tornado rests against it, he cracks the steel chair again this time across Tornados back. Tornado falls down and Marshall Gates climbs up onto the board, dropping the chair down onto Tornado. He dives off the board into a perfect moonsault, but Tornado rolled out of the way, and Marshall Gates crashed straight into the chair. Tornado is down, and so is Marshall Gates. Tornado pulls the board from out of its place and Marshall Gates slowly gets to his feet, as Tornado swings the board at his back, sending him straight down to the mat. He then places the board back in its original place, and drags Gates to his feet. He faces the board and places Gates in the Tornado Ride position, before hoisting him up and looking for the Tornado Ride, but Gates counters by grabbing the chair on his way up, and smashing it across Tornados head. He then attempts to suplex Tornado, but Tornado is too big. He decides instead just to kick him low and whip him into the board, but because Tornado is so big, his chest hits the board instead of his head, but the job is done regardless and Tornado hits the mat.

Maura Downs: This is the first of two hardcore style matches tonight, and it's proving to be one hell of a battle. Louis Carvanelie: Back and forth, surprisingly, as I thought it might be all Tornado, considering his size advantage. Maura Downs: These types of matches generally favour the bigger guys, but Gates is taking the fight to Tornado.

Marshall Gates climbs up onto the board again, and drops a legdrop onto Tornado, and stands up, as Tornado slowly gets to his feet and Gates dropkicks him back into the board. Tornado hits the board then stumbles foward, swiping a right hand away from him and clasping Gates around the throat. He lifts him up, looking to chokeslam him through the board, but Gates manges to punch Tornado and land perfectly on the board, before jumping off into a swinging DDT. Tornado crawls to his feet and Gates throws a right hand, but Tornado grabs it, twists it around, and grabs Gates in a chokehold, and then hits a chokehold throw across the ring. He takes a few moments and then goes for Gates, who takes a swing for Tornados legs but Tornado moves out of the way and stomps down on Gates. He pulls Gates to his feet, and hits a fallaway slam on Gates, before hitting a few more foot stomps on him. Gates is left reeling from this assault as Tornado drags him up to his feet and leans him against the board which still hangs in its place. He hits a huge knife edge chop on him but Gates comes back with chops from all directions, taking Tornado away from him. Gates chops echo around the arena and begin to blister Tornados chest, but Tornado whips Gates into the ropes, but Gates goes for a shoulder block, but doesn't take him down. He goes for a clothsline, but doesn't take him down. He goes onto the board and then looks for a double axe handle, but Tornado catches him, and hits a huge chokeslam!

Maura Downs: Tornado has won the match!! What a chokeslam!!! Louis Carvanelie: Hang on, Tornado isn't even going for the cover! Maura Downs: What's he doing?

Tornado slides out of the ring and pulls up the ring apron, and pulls out, A BARBED WIRE WRAPPED 2x4!!

Maura Downs: THIS MATCH HAS JUST GONE SUPER HARDCORE!! TORNADO WANTS TO MAIM MARSHALL GATES!! Louis Carvanelie: He could have gone for the cover, but instead he wants to hurt Marshall Gates!! He wants to be taken seriously, and this is what he's doing!?

Tornado slides into the ring with the barbed wire wrapped 2x4 and the referee gets in Tornados face. Tornado throws the referee out of the way and goes back for Gates, who low blows Tornado!! Tornado drops the 2x4 and Gates gets to his feet, but Tornado quickly grabs him around the throat, and delivers another earth shuddering chokeslam. He covers, but the referee doesn't make the count, as he's regaining his composure. Tornado gets up and the referee walks foward..... STRAIGHT INTO A CHOKESLAM!! That's the third chokeslam Tornado has delivered in this match!

Maura Downs: What the hell is Tornado doing!? This man has absolutely NO RESPECT for authority, and here comes another referee!! Louis Carvanelie: STRAIGHT INTO A BIG BOOT!! TORNADO HAS GONE CRAZY!! Maura Downs: And look at this, Jayson Keller is rushing to the ring to stop this madness!!

Jayson Keller gets in Tornados face, yelling at him for attacking the referees. Tornado doesn't appear to be paying any attention, until Jayson Keller punches him in the face!! Tornado snaps, kicking Keller in the gut, AND THEN DELIVERING THE TORNADO RIDE!! Marshall Gates has a chair though and runs foward, BUT TORNADO BOOTS THE CHAIR INTO GATES FACE!! Tornado then picks up the barbed wire wrapped 2x4, and Gates slowly gets to his feet, AND TORNADO BUSTS GATES UP WITH THE BARBED WIRE 2x4!! Blood pours down Gates face as a referee runs down to the ring with EMTs and checks on Gates. Tornado throws the EMTs out of the way and yells at the referee, ordering him to count. The ref reluctantly agrees, and counts 1.......2.....3!

Maura Downs: This isn't right! Tornado put his hands on the owner, used a barbed wire wrapped 2x4, and threw EMTs clean across the ring!

Louis Carvanelie: No doubt about it, that guy wants to be taken seriously, and it looks like he's going to get his chance at a title next week, when he faces the US Champion!!

Hank runs down to the ring and helps clear the ring of EMTs. Then Hank picks up the EWA owner, Jayson Keller, and piledrives him. Keller has been broken open big time by these two monsters. The EWA is in TROUBLE.

FLASH :: AN INTERVIEW WITH BUCK BARLOW

Buck Barlow: I'm here with Universal Champion The Butcher, and Butcher, tonight, it seems the mysterious attacker is indeed in the building. Do you have ANY idea who the attacker might be?

The Butcher: I have my thoughts, but no solid evidence. I could cut thruogh the locker room in order to find the man, but it may not even be someone in the locker room, and I'm not about to make a hundred more enemies than I already have. No, if I knew who the mysterious cloaked guy was, you'd know about it that's for sure, because there would be a dead body within this arena.

Buck Barlow: How are you feeling knowing that the attacker is in the building, and you have a match-up here tonight against Eric Flaherty...

The Butcher: I'm feeling fine. I'll go into that match-up and kick ass like I usually do, but I'll keep an eye out, and if that son of a bitch tries to get involved, I'll beat him down and reveal him in front of the world, and then I'll beat the living hell out of him too.

Buck Barlow: And-

Barlow is interupted as the monitor in the background flickers on and a muffled voice calls Butchers name. Butcher turns to the monitor, where there is a dartboard with Butchers face on it. A dart flies through the air and lands smack dab between Butchers eyes. The eerie muffled voice calls Butchers name again, and another dart flies at the board. Butcher is getting agitated, as the scene fades out to reveal the words, 'Look behind you' and Butcher does, as a huge battering ram swings into the picture and Butcher and Barlow dive out of the way, and the battering ram smashes through the monitor... It swings back and forth as Butcher angrily gets to his feet and looks up. Footsteps are heard from above and Butcher runs off after the noise...

Maura Downs: I can't believe it. That mysterious attacker could have killed Buck Barlow AND The Butcher with that damn thing! What is he thinking? Louis Carvanelie: I don't know, but who cares about Buck Barlow!? We have that Universal Championship belt to worry about, not some stupid reporter!

NON-TITLE HARDCORE MATCH :: CHRISTIAN CAGE VS MARK HALBROOK

Maura Downs: Christian Cage successfully defended his World Of Pain championship against Lance Lockwood at Retribution, but tonight he faces Mark Halbrook in a hardcore match. Louis Carvanelie: But remember, this is a non-title match Maura. Maura Downs: Mark Halbrook has got an uphill battle against Christian Cage, the only two time Universal Champion ever in the EWA!

Christian Cage is in the ring, but Mark Halbrook isn't coming down to the ring... Suddenly, the 'Worlds Greatest' hits the PA system, and Hank Williams walks out onto the stage...

Hank Williams: Christian Cage... So very nice to meet you, oh legend of the EWA (Maura: Do you think there was a hint of sarcasm there?) If you are wondering where Mark Halbrook is, he's no longer employed by Extreme Wrestling Action, but I am. I've been thinking Cage, that I need to make an impact. I'm not just Tornados running buddy, I have the potential to be huge here as well. So Cage, what better way to make a mark than by taking out a former 2 time, THE ONLY TWO TIME, Universal Champion in the EWA, and not only that, take his World Of Pain Championship as well... What better way? So next week, it will be Hank Williams, Vs Christian Cage, World Of Pain Championship on the line...

Christian Cage gestures that it's on, and calls Hank Williams into the ring, but Hank refuses, mouthing, 'Next week Cage' before disappearing behind the curtain...

TAG TEAM FRENZY :: BEAN AND PAIN EXPRESS VS TOMMY PURR ::AND CHRIS DARVIN

Maura Downs: Now THIS should be interesting... None of the participants in this match get along, but yet they are forced together in a tag team match constructed by our boss, EWA owner Jayson Keller. Louis Carvanelie: Chris Darvin is here for one night only in the EWA, and all four men are waiting in the ring... Darvin spits down at Purr, and is telling him he'll start the match, and it'll be Bean and Darvin starting this match then...

Bean raises his hand to lock up with Darvin, but Darvin kicks him in the stomach, and knocks him back with a right hand, before rocking him backwards with some hard rights, before whipping him into the ropes and taking him down with a jumping clothsline. He lifts Bean to his feet and snap suplexes him, and then lifts him in the air, for a stalling vertical suplex followed by an elbow dorp. Bean gets to his feet, straight into a right hand from Darvin, and then gets to his feet into another right hand, followed by a dropkick which knocks Bean into the corner. Pain Express makes the tag and climbs over the ropes, running at Darvin and missing with a right hand, and Darvin hits a back leg shot to the ribs, which cause Pain Express to be bent double, and then Darvin connects with a scissor kick to the back of the head. Bean runs out from out of the ropes straight into a back body drop.

Maura Downs: Darvin with an explosive start, and he's just now taunting Purr. Louis Carvanelie: He doesn't like Purr one bit, and he's not afraid to show it.

He points to Purr and hits the 100 percent purrfection, laughing now in Purrs face, which brings Purr into the ring, even though Purr is Darvins tag team partner, the referee urges him out of the ring, which allows Bean and Pain Express to take advantage, and hit a double DDT. Darvin goes down and begins to get double teamed by Bean and Express. Express is the legal man and Bean gets thrown out of the ring when the ref turns back to the match. Express drags Darvin to his feet and Darvin makes an attempt at a comeback, but Express stops him mid-way with a knee, and then a drop toe hold as Express puts him in a cross face chicken wing, as Bean gets in the ring, and hits a double footed low dropkick to Darvins face. Purr is watching on the apron, and enjoying his partners pain.

Maura Downs: I don't think Purr could care less about Darvin, and this match means nothing to him. Louis Carvanelie: We've yet to see Purr in this match-up, and Darvin is being isolated.

Express lets go of Darvin and knocks Purr off the apron, and goes back to Darvin, who drives his elbow into PEs ribs, and hits a Northern Lights suplex. He quickly crawls to his corner and goes for the tag, but Purr isn't there. Bean gets in the ring, and drags Darvin back to their corner, before PE and Bean start double teaming him. Bean drags Darvin onto his shoulders, and Express goes to the top rope, and they hit a version of the Dudley Device. They both start stomping at him again as the referee orders Bean out of the ring and Purr climbs back onto the apron. Bean steps back onto the apron as Pain Express drags Darvin to his feet and hoists him into the air, in a stalling vertical suplex. He points at Purr and Purr just shrugs his shoulders, as Express drops Darvin all the way down to the mat. He keeps Darvin on the mat and shouts to Bean, who goes to the top rope, and Pain Express tells him to Frog Splash Darvin... Bean goes for a frogsplash... BUT PAIN EXPRESS MOVES DARVIN OUT OF THE WAY!!

Maura Downs: What the hell was that for? Are neither teams going to get along tonight!? Louis Carvanelie: And Pain Express is just laughing...

Bean slowly gets back to his feet and looks confused and angry at Pain Express... The two start arguing and pushing eachother, as Darvin gets to his feet, and double dropkicks them both down, and they both hit the second rope... Purr quickly gets in the ring, and hits the ropes, brushing past Darvin and hitting the 619 to both Bean and Express!! Purr celebrates and turns into a boot from Darvin, followed by a sit-down powerbomb... Darvin gets up and Express spears him to the mat, getting to his feet, only to find Bean with a big boot!!

Maura Downs: This match has turned into an all out brawl... What's going on here? Louis Carvanelie: Express and Bean are fighting, and Purr and Darvin... What's going on?

Bean drags Express up, and the two men exchange rights and lefts, and brawl to the outside, as Purr and Darvin get to their feet, and find themselves eye to eye. Almost immediately, the two are drawn into a fist war, and Purr takes Darvin down with a double leg takedown, followed by mounted punches. Darvin rolls through and now is the one doing the punches, as the two roll through the bottom rope, and start brawling on the outside. Darvin drives Purr into the crowd barrier, and runs for a clothsline, but Purr throws him over his shoulder, and into the crowd, before stepping over the barrier as well, and the brawl continues into the crowd... BEAN takes Pain Express and DDTs him right onto the steal ramp. PE is unconscious! Thats career ending. He could be out for weeks and month! But that wasnt enough, BEAN smashes the Hoosiers head with a chair to add salt to injury. Darvin clotheslines Purr back over the guard rail. Darvin goes to throw Purr into the ring, but Purr reverses it and throws Darvin in. Darvin rolls into the ring and slowly gets to his knees. But Purr hops onto the apron and over the top rope with a missile drop kick. Darvin is down. BEAN, being the only man left on the other team, tosses Pain Express into the ring and walks up the ramp. Purr waits for Darvin to get up and is ready for the TommyKnocker, until he sees Pain Express inside the ring. Darvin looks at Pain Express, then Purr, then back to Pain Express as he gives him the Omega. Pain Express hits the mat hard as Darvin rolls out of the ring. Tommy goes off the top turnbuckle with the Tommybomb and pins Pain Express for the ONE TWO THREE!

Darvin and BEAN or nowhere to be found.

SINGLE MATCH :: LAYTON MATTHEWS VS AZARIEL

Maura Downs: I don't know how Layton Matthews can possibly be one hundred percent after the brutal and bloody Caged Heat match at Retribution, but he's taking on the impressive Azariel here tonight. Louis Carvanelie: Not to mention hes burnt bad from that flamethrower.

Layton Matthews locks up with Azariel, but withdraws, showing signs of pain in his ribs and back, as Azariel takes his opportunity and dropkicks Layton into the ropes, and then hits a hurracanrana on Layton. Layton hits the mat and gets to his feet into an armdrag from Azariel, who then ducks a clothsline attempt, and hits the ropes, hitting a springboard dropkick on Layton, and Layton goes down holding the burns on his chest. He gets to his feet, and Azariel hits the ropes, ducking a right hand, and then hits a springboard back elbow on Layton. Layton stumbles back into the ropes and comes back, as Azariel goes for a kick, but Layton catches his boot, and swings him around, kicking Azariel and then looking for the Showcase Finale, but Azariel pushes Layton into the ropes, and takes him down with the leg scissors. Layton rolls back to his feet and Azariel waits with a standing dropkick, sending Layton back into the ropes, but when Layton comes back, Layton hits a clothsline on his opponent. He doesn't let Azariel have the time on the mat though, as he forcefully picks him up and whips him into the ropes, and takes him down with a big right hand. Azariel hits the mat, and gets back to his feet, but Layton is waiting for him, with a kick to the mid-section, as he goes for a powerbomb, but Azariel reverses with a spinning hurracanrana.

Maura Downs: Azariel utilizing his speed with the injured Layton Matthews, and it looks to be working for him at the moment. Louis Carvanelie: But Layton is a fighter, and believe me, when he gets his chance, he'll damn well take it.

Layton is getting increasingly angry, and Azariel gets to his feet, hitting the ropes, BUT LAYTON TAKES HIM DOWN WITH A BIG BOOT!! Layton goes crazy on Azariel now with stiff kicks before dragging him up and whipping him hard into the ropes, and then nearly takes his head off with a clothsline. He grabs his head, and rams it repeatedly into the mat. Before picking him up, and throwing him out of the ring. He doesn't let up though, as he slides out and grabs Azariel by the head, and rams him straight into the steel steps.

Maura Downs: Layton Matthews has snapped, and I don't think he cares about the outcome of this match. Louis Carvanelie: He's one pissed off SOB Maura, and do you blame him!?

Layton slides back into the ring, where the referee gets in his face. Layton looks agitated, AND HITS A SHOWCASE FINALE ON THE REFEREE!! The ref is knocked out and Azariel is bleeding on the outside. Azariel slides under the ring apron and under the ring, and Layton looks confused. He goes to the ropes, and looks around the ring, waiting for Azariel, but Azariel slides out from under the ring with a chair on the other side. Azariel slides in behind Layton and clocks him with the chair!! Layton stumbles forward into the ropes, and turns into another chair shot that rings through the arena. Azariel raises the chair and runs around jumping and placing the chair under his feet, before dropkicking it into Laytons face. Layton goes down, and Azariel covers, but there's no referee. The referee slowly recovers, and crawls over as Azariel has the cover. 1.....2....Layton gets the shoulder up!! Layton gets to his feet, and Azariel goes for a spinning heel kick, but Layton catches him, and instead hits a pump handle slam but not before Layton rolls away rubbing all his burns and screaming in pain. He grabs the chair, and whilst the referee is looking, SMASHES IT ACROSS AZARIELS SKULL!! The ref orders the bell to be rung and Azariel wins via disqualification.

Maura Downs: That was a blatant disqualification, but I don't think Layton gives a damn!!

Louis Carvanelie: AND NOW LAYTON IS GOING CRAZY WITH THE CHAIR!! WHAT IS IT WITH EVERYONE TODAY!?

Layton Matthews drags Azariel to his feet and places the chair across his throat, before running him into the turnbuckle, so the chair nearly cuts off his head!! Layton grabs him to his feet and drops the chair, AND HITS A DDT ONTO THE CHAIR!! The referee gets to his feet and tries to stop the onslaught, but Layton hits another Showcase Finale on the ref... As Azariel uses Layton to pull himself up...

Maura Downs: Look at Azariel, he isn't going to give in!! He's still trying to fight Layton, even though he's losing a lot of blood.

Louis Carvanelie: SHOWCASE FINALE!! Layton is showing no mercy to Azariel... and now what's he doing?

Layton places the chair over Azariels ankle, and climbs the second rope... AND JUMPS OFF ONTO AZARIELS ANKLE!!

Maura Downs: Damn it Layton, he just broke Azariels ankle!! Louis Carvanelie: Layton is sick, and he was out here to hurt someone, and he has. He didn't care about the match! But look Layton is in serious pain from those burns all over his body! Layton goes down and doesnt move. EMTs rush to the ring and remove both men. Layton should never have been in this match!

FLASH :: DAVE CHAIN BOOKS SOME MATCHES FOR NEXT WEEK

'Go to Sleep' hits the PA system and out steps Dave Chain in a smart business suit. He gets a mixed reaction from the crowd.

Maura Downs: Well, looks like we are going to be joined by the EWA Commisioner Dave Chain! Louis Carvanelie: Rumour has it this guy has been so busy backstage and has wanted to keep his public appearences to a bear minimum, which leaves me wondering why he's out here. If you ask me, there's something up with this guy. Maura Downs: Why are you always so suspicous of people!?

Dave Chain steps into the ring and grabs a mic from the ring announcer. He clears he throat quite obviously and the crowd quieten a little to let him speak.

Dave Chain: Many of you don't really know me, and that's fine. I want to leave most of the show for the real talent, and that is why I won't be out here for long. Next week, we will have the tag team championships on the line, as champions Sam Hain and Marshall Gates take on the team of Ender and Azariel...

Maura Downs: That's a big announcement! Louis Carvanelie: Meh, it isn't that big. So what, a tag team match, woohoo!

Dave Chain: .... Not only that, but the match will be a Tag Team Elimination Table Match! (The crowd go wild at that announcement, but Dave Chain puts a hand up, and silences the crowd) Don't get too excited though, as I have yet more announcements. Tornado will be facing off against a mystery opponent in an Iron Fist Chain Match! Rules will be explained next Tsunami!

Maura Downs: An Iron Fist Chain Match!? Louis Carvanelie: What kind of sick match is that!!? I told you something was up with that guy!

Dave Chain: And Tommy Purr will put his Television Championship on the line, against Bean!!

Maura Downs: Another huge match up! Louis Carvanelie: That's two titles on the line Maura!!

Dave Chain: Nuclear Cape will have his chance at revenge on Steele, as he gets to take him on one-on-one! But the main-event will be a Tag Team match-up..... On one team, there will be Christian Cage... And Malinko.... (The crowd go nuts once more) And on the other team there will be our Universal Champion... The Butcher... with... LAYTON MATTHEWS!!!

The crowd have a mixed reaction on that annoucement while Dave Chain has an evil grin on his face...

Dave Chain: Realise this... I have nothing against The Butcher... This is purely for entertainment value... (Another smirk)

Maura Downs: Dave Chain has just put a huge target on Butcher... can you imagine!? Christian Cage and Malinko are two of the greatest stars in the EWA, and they will be teaming up against The Butcher, whose tag team partner isn't exactly on good terms with him. Butcher has basically been thrown to the lions! Louis Carvanelie: Not to mention there's already someone trying to ki- hey, hang on a second... THAT'S IT!! THE MYSTERY ATTACKER IS DAVE CHAIN!! Maura Downs: Don't go jumping to conclusions Louis.. Louis Carvanelie: Think about it... The shelves didn't work, the battering ram didn't work, and now he's booking this match! It's genius!

THE MAIN EVENT :: THE BUTCHER VS ERIC FLAHERTY

Maura Downs: The Butcher hasn't been cleared to wrestle here tonight, but he's in the arena, and will be wrestling Eric Flaherty in our main event, up next.

Louis Carvanelie: Butcher successfully defended his championship against Layton Matthews at Retribution, in what proved to be one hell of a main-event. We saw the cell fall through, glass tables, and thumbtacs, and that wasn't even everything. All I can say is, after a match like that, neither wrestler is ever the same.

Maura Downs: And Eric Flaherty looks to take full advantage of that, as he looks to sky rocket up the EWA ladder of success, by beating the Universal Champion in a non-title match-up.

Eric Flaherty is already in the ring waiting on Butcher, as the lights dim, and an explosion from all four corners of the ring causes Flaherty to jump a little, as 'Kill You' starts up on the PA system, and Butcher walks out. Butcher appears on the ramp, with stitches in his head, bruises over his body, and big plasters over the various cuts in his back. He has the Universal Championship strapped around his waist, and walks slowly down to the ring, always keeping that picture of intensity and staring right through Flaherty.

Maura Downs: Butcher doesn't look too good here tonight does he? Louis Carvanelie: What do you expect, he went through a damn war at Retribution Maura. I mean, you saw the state Layton Matthews was in earlier didn't you? Maura Downs: My point Louis, is that Butcher shouldn't be wrestling, and he could find himself on the end of an upset because of it.

Butcher steps up onto the apron, and stares at Eric Flaherty, before climbing into the ring, but Eric doesn't wait, and goes straight for Butcher, hitting some forearms across the back on those cuts and bruises, and the pain on Butchers face is obvious, as he takes his title belt off and slides it out of the ring. The bell rings and the match is officially started. Flaherty now drives his knee into the back of Butchers neck, again and again, until Butcher is sent to the mat, and then he stomps down on his back. Butcher makes an attempt to get to his feet, and he grabs Flahertys leg, pushing him to the mat, and allowing him to get to his feet, but Flaherty is up again, and he hits a right hand on Butchers jaw, and Butchers eyes now widen in anger, as he gets to his feet. Flaherty throws another right, but Butcher catches it and bends it around, and does the same with the other hand as well when Flaherty tries to use that one, before crossing Flahertys arms, and hitting a cross-arm suplex on Flaherty! He now goes to Flaherty, and picks him up to his feet, and throws him into the corner before running with a clothsline, then dragging Flaherty out of the corner, and suplexing him to the mat. Butcher then waits for Flaherty to get to his feet, and sits up on the top turnbuckle, before hitting a diving shoulder block on Flaherty, knocking him down to the mat. Flaherty again gets to his feet, and Butcher moves foward, into an eye rake from Flaherty, then as he turns, a back rake, followed by a side walk slam. He then puts a hammerlock armbar on Butcher, and has his arm locked behind his back, before locking the ankle in his legs. Butcher is in obvious pain, but refuses to give up.

Maura Downs: Think of the pain that must be shooting through Butchers body with this submission move, and the champion refuses to quit. Louis Carvanelie: This would hurt a healthy man Maura, and Butcher damn well ain't healthy.

Butcher tries swinging back with his free arm, and then reaches back, grabbing the head, twisting around with tremendous strength, so that he reverses the position but then turns it into an ankle lock, and Flaherty is screaming in pain, surprised by the reversal. Butcher releases the hold almost immediately though, and grins. He just wanted to show Flaherty he could get the hold in from any position. He then begins stomping down on Flaherty, every kick with as much strength as Butcher can handle.

Maura Downs: That may have been a mistake releasing the ankle lock, he could have severly weakened Eric Flahertys ankle, or even broke it. Louis Carvanelie: Yeah, but he wants to hurt his opponent in more than one way Maura, and besides, there are no count-outs or submissions in this match remember, so even if he has Flaherty tapping, it wouldn't make a difference.

Butcher pulls Flaherty to his feet, and picks him up over his shoulders, before driving him into the turnbuckle, and hitting a knife edge chop. Flaherty comes back with a chop of his own, but Butcher delivers another one, and then hits a few right hands before placing Flaherty on the top turnbuckle. Butcher climbs up onto the top rope, but Flaherty hits a right hand to the ribs, and then one to the face, and pushes Butcher off the top rope, as Butcher crashes to the mat, a split second later Flaherty dives off the top rope, hitting a splash on Butcher. Flaherty gets to his feet and drops a leg on Butcher, and then gets up again, dropping an elbow. He hooks the leg. 1.....2.....(Butcher gets his shoulder up) Flaherty gets up, and runs to the ropes, looking for a lionsault, but lands on his feet when Butcher moves out of the way, but then Butcher gets to his feet and Flaherty attempts to throw him over the top rope, but Butcher lands on the apron, leans into the middle rope and rams his shoulder into Flahertys ribs, before diving off rather uncharateristically into a sunset flip... 1.....2.....(Flaherty kicks out) Flaherty gets to his feet and aims a right at Butcher, but Butcher reverses and whips Flaherty into the ropes, and then takes him down with a headlock take-down.

Maura Downs: The look on Butchers face tells me he's hurting, but his in-ring performance doesn't seem to have taken a knock. Louis Carvanelie: Work through pain, and this man has been through hell, and is still wrestling.

Butcher drags Flaherty to his feet and scoops him up onto his shoulders, looking for the Butchers Blade, but Flaherty grabs a hold of the referee, as Butcher swings him over, Flaherty drags the referee down with him, and manages to break the fall. Butcher looks at Flaherty like he's mad, and makes a grab for him, but Flaherty kicks Butcher low, and rolls out of the ring. He grabs the Universal Championship belt and slides back into the ring, as Butcher turns, straight into a championship belt shot!! Butcher goes down and Flaherty throws the title out of the ring, and hooks the leg as the referee turns around. 1......2.....(Butcher got the shoulder up) Flaherty can't believe that Butcher got the shoulder up, and starts stomping down on his back. Butcher gets to his feet, and Eric Flaherty hits a spinning backdrop on Butcher, and then a rough elbow drop. Butcher is down, and some more stiff boots draw Butcher into the corner as Flaherty kicks him a couple more times in the chest, knocking his back and grating it against the turnbuckle before choking Butcher. Butcher grabs Flahertys foot and pushes him away as he gets to his feet, and walks straight into a powerslam. Butcher holds his back in pain but doesn't get a moment, as Flaherty works the back with stiff kicks and the occasional fist as well.

Maura Downs: Flaherty now taking advantage of that injured back of Butchers, opening up some of the cuts from Butchers title defence at Retribution. Louis Carvanelie: Clever move by Flaherty there...

Flaherty drags Butcher to his feet and suplexes him back down. He then taunts Butcher with a couple of slaps, which seem to awaken Butcher, who grabs Flaherty by the throat, and gets to his feet. He scoops him up onto his shoulders for the Butchers Blade, but Flaherty reverses into a DDT. Flaherty covers Butcher, and the ref makes the count. 1......2......Butcher gets his shoulder up. Flaherty smiles and drags Butcher to his feet, before hoisting him up onto his shoulders. Butcher reverses with a DDT this time and Flaherty is down. Butcher quickly jumps to the top rope... AND GOES FOR A SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!! BUT MISSES!!!

Maura Downs: What the hell? A shooting star, from Butcher? Louis Carvanelie: Butcher proving there's more to his arsenal, but paid a heavy price, and now Flaherty is looking to take advantage again... Maura Downs: Eric Flaherty is going to try and humiliate the Butcher by defeating him with his own finishing move! Louis Carvanelie: The Butchers Blade puts tremendous pain on the neck and back, and if he hits, it could be all over. Maura Downs: BUT NO!! Butcher countered and landed behind Flaherty, flipped him onto his stomach, AND LOCKED IN THE ANKLE LOCK!!

Butcher twists on the ankle and Flaherty screams in pain scrambling to the ropes. He grabs a hold on them but Butcher pulls him back and locks the legs around him as well and Flaherty is forced to tap out!!

Maura Downs: The champion has done it!! The Butcher gutted it out and defeated Eric Flaherty!! Louis Carvanelie: And survived a night from the mysterious attacker, but what does next week hold for Butcher!!? Maura Downs: In a night that contained foreign objects, hidden attacks, and dirty dealings behind the referees back, Butcher triumphed, and that's all for this weeks Tsunami....

The scene ends with Butcher holding his championship belt up high...
