PAIN EXPRESS VS MARK HALBROOK VS BEAN
Dictator Match

Maura Downs: And we are kicking Retribution off with a Triple Threat Dictators Match, Pain Express makes his long awaited return as he takes on Mark Halbrook and Bean.

Louis Carvanelie: This match will have repurcussions for the future, as whoever wins this match decides their next opponent, and type of match.

Maura Downs: It should be interesting to see how Mark Halbrook and Bean fare against Pain Express, who was on his way up until sidelined with an injury.

Bean and Halbrook point to Pain Express on the ramp, and it looks as if they are going to team against him, but Bean turns on Halbrook and knocks him down to the mat with a clubbing blow. Bean then puts the boots to Halbrook before lifting him to his feet, and hitting a european uppercut sending Halbrook back into the ropes. Pain Express slides into the ring and ducks a right from Bean and then hits a clothsline on Bean before running into the corner, and delivering a huge clothsline into the corner, dragging Halbrook out into a bulldog. He gets up and blocks a punch from Bean and knocks him back into the ropes, before whipping him across the ring again, and then driving his knee into Beans abs, sending him flipping over, before kicking him in the back. Halbrook misses a clothsline, and Pain Express jumps up onto the second rope, hitting a back elbow onto Halbrook. He rolls through back onto his feet and starts beating down on Halbrook and Bean, before waiting for both to get to their feet, and delivering a double clothsline. They get up again and Express kicks Halbrook in the mid-section, and then goes for Bean, but Bean grabs Pain Expresses foot, and Halbrook sweeps Pain Expresses over foot so Express hits the mat. Halbrook and Bean then start putting the boots to Express, and knock him into the corner, taking turns in stomping a mudhole in Express. They drag Express out of the corner and Halbrook drops an elbow, before telling Bean to go up top. He mouths the word moonsault, and Bean nods his head. He jumps up onto the turnbuckle, but instead of holding Express down, Halbrook jumps over him quickly, hooking Bean up, AND POWERBOMBING HIM FROM THE TOP ROPE!! He mounts him with punches, and starts beating Bean down, talking trash, before getting to his feet. Express is up now and dropkicks Halbrook into the corner, running foward into a raised boot from Halbrook, as Halbrook jumps up onto the second turnbuckle, and hits a jumping clothsline on Express.

Maura Downs: We've said this before, and I'll say ut again, Triple Threat matches require a great deal of intelligence and skill to gain a victory in, as there's always two men you've got to consider.

Louis Carvanelie: Bean has rolled to the outside now, and if he plays it safe, he'll wait out there until an opportunity presents itself, and then take full advantage.

Express gets to his feet and Halbrook pushes him into the corner, looking for a back elbow, but Express moves out of the way and chops Halbrook in the corner. He rears back and hits another knife edge chop, before placing Halbrook on the top rope. Bean jumps up onto the apron all of a sudden though and pushes Halbrook off the turnbuckle, sending him to the outside, before turning into a right hand from Pain Express, sending Bean straight into the crowd barrier. Express looks first at Bean, then at Halbrook on the outside. He orders the referee to start his ten count, but then decides against it, as he slides out of the ring and grabs Bean, rolling him into the ring. He covers. 1.....2.....(Bean kicks out) Express lifts Bean to his feet and Bean desperately tries to get Express to release his grip, but unable to, Express lifts him above his head, and then gorrila press slams him to the mat. Pain Express then drops an elbow on Bean, before covering again. 1.......2......(Bean kicks out) Express now backs into the ropes, but Halbrook is there and hangs him up on the top rope, putting pressure on the lower back, and Express springs foward into a roll-up from Bean. 1......2.....(Halbrook breaks the count with a springboard legdrop onto Beans head) Now Halbrook goes for the cover. 1........2......(Express kicks out) Express gets to his feet and then clothslines Halbrook down, and turns to Bean, who whilst the refs attention is turned to Halbrook, low blows Express, then DDTs him to the mat. He covers as the ref turns back... 1......2......(Halbrook dives over and breaks the count)

Maura Downs: Halbrook breaking up the count there, but some underhanded tactics from Bean beforehand.

Louis Carvanelie: If the ref doesn't see it, it's all legal.

Maura Downs: That's just your twisted way of looking at things.

Halbrook drags Bean to his feet and whips him into the turnbuckle, and then Express gets to his feet and whips Halbrook into Bean before going for the clothsline, but Bean manages to push Halbrook foward and then lifts Express over his shoulders but Express lands on the top turnbuckle, and drags Bean up, before hitting a bulldog variation from the top rope. He covers, but Halbrook breaks the count. Express then gets to his feet, and begins working over Halbrook, who gets to his feet as well, trying to fight off the assault from Pain Express. Halbrook grabs Expresses elbow, and knees him in the gut, before hip tossing him across the ring, and dropkicking him in the back. He turns into a elbow shot from Bean, who staggers back into the corner, and Halbrook kicks him in the mid-section and drives his shoulder into his ribs, as he turns to see Express get to his feet, and he quickly jumps into a monkey flip, sending Bean into Express. Bean and Express go down and slowly make their way back to their feet, and Halbrook double clothslines them down. He then stomps down on both Bean and Express, taking advantage in this triple threat match, as he now concentrates more on Express, with stiff kicks to the back. Express tries to pull himself up, but Halbrook knees him in the head, sending him out onto the apron. He turns and blocks a right from Bean and whips him into the ropes, but Bean reverses, then pulls him into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, and then wrenches his back on his knee. Express gets up on the apron, and then hits a springboard legdrop across Halbrooks head. Bean then gets up and sends Express over the top rope with a running shoulder block from the ropes. Bean beckons Halbrook to his feet and then hits a stalling suplex on him when he does, and floats over for the cover. 1......2.....(Halbrook kicks out)

Maura Downs: The match has been pretty even thus far Louis, don't you think, with each man taking advantage at one moment in the match.

Louis Carvanelie: It's always going to be like that, until one man can eliminate both men effectively, and pin one of them.

Bean gets to his feet and hooks Halbrook for another suplex, and holds him in the air, but Express rolls back into the ring, and dropkicks Bean in the back, which causes Halbrook to fall to the mat, adjusting in time to avoid landing on his head, but still causing damage as Bean hits the ropes. He turns into a jumping splash from Express, who pulls him out from the ropes and arm drags him onto Halbrook. He then goes to the top rope, and looks around at the crowd. He looks for a diving headbutt from the top, but Bean moves out of the way and he connects with Halbrook. Express figures a pin is a pin, and hooks Halbrooks leg, but Bean breaks the count. The three men get to their feet and Halbrook looks at Bean and points to Express, but before Bean can make a move for Express, Halbrook kicks him in the gut, and hits an atomic drop, into a catapult into the turnbuckle. He gets to his feet and ducks a right from Express, hits the ropes and ducks another attempt, leapfrogging Express on his way back and hitting a springboard crossbody on Express.

Maura Downs: Nice crossbody from Halbrook.

Louis Carvanelie: I'm sure Express isn't going to take that well, he's going to go straight back for Halbrook.

( Halbrook goes for BEAN, knocking him clear over the top rope. BEAN manages to land on his feet. Pain Express reaches his feet and lays into Halbrook with some punches. Meanwhile, BEAN slowly creeps up the ramp way -- WHACK. Someone mad dashes past BEAN, knocking him over. )

Maura Downs: It’s Tommy Purr! Tommy lays into BEAN with some wicked kicks to the head.

( Tommy runs down to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. Pain Express has a confused look on his face. Malbrook is still kneeling down from PE’s punches. Tommy points to Mark and the crowd goes wild. Walking up to Mark, Tommy raises his fist high into the air and --- and kicks Pain Express in the gut! The Hoosier leans forward in pain just in time for Tommy to tuck his head between his legs and deliver the Tommybomb. The crowd goes off with mixed emotions. )

Louis Carvanelie: The crowd doesn’t know who to cheer for. What the hell has Tommy done?

( Tommy turns around, only to get grabbed in the throat by BEAN. BEAN, pissed off from the previous attach, throws Tommy high in the air. However, Tommy scouts it and reverses, kicking BEAN in the face. BEAN drops Tommy, only to fall backwards. Tommy grabs BEAN’s legs and locks on the One-Hundred-Percent Purrfection. BEAN bellows in pain, but Tommy doesn’t end the hold. Until Pain Express clotheslines him out of nowhere, that is. Tommy stumbles backwards, finally finding support from the ropes. PE throws Tommy over the top rope, and turns around -- Only to find that BEAN is waiting. BEAN grabs PE by the throat and throws him into the air. One giant choke slam has been delivered. Halbrook finally decides the timing is right, and attacks BEAN from behind with a forearm to the head. BEAN turns around quickly, seeing the Halbrook is going for a cross body attack. BEAN catches Halbrook and grabs him by the throat, completing a choke slam in one quick motion. )

Maura Downs: This is insane. BEAN takes advantage of Tommy’s interference by throwing Pain Express out of the ring, then gets one lucky move in on Halbrook. This just isn’t right!

( BEAN pins Halbrook. )

One! Two! Three!

Winner: BEAN.

( BEAN isn’t finished. He’s picking Pain Express up and -- no. Tommy Purr enters the ring and goes straight for a Superkick. BEAN sees it coming, and grabs Tommy’s leg. Pulling him closer, BEAN grabs Tommy’s throat. )

Maura Downs: Dear god, not again!

(Tommy kicks BEAN in the lower region -- DUH -- and begins hitting BEAN with nonstop punches. Tommy whips BEAN to the ropes, and delivers one hell of a sidewalk slam. Tommy climbs the turnbuckle, most likely preparing the for Tommy Knocker … but Marshall Gates makes a B-line for the ring. Tommy sees him enter the ring, so Tommy jumps off the turnbuckle, to the outside of the ring, and goes back up the ramp while pointing to his head. )

Louis Carnavelie: That’s no a retreat, that’s strategy. Purr knows he has a match with Gates later tonight, he has to preserve some energy.

** COMERCIAL FOR EWA PANDEMONIUM, November 30th. **

ENDER AND AZARIEL VS ERIC FLAHERTY AND TORNADO
Tag Team Frenzy

Maura Downs: Up next is the tag match, and Flaherty and Tornado are already in the ring, waiting on their opponents.

Louis Carvanelie: And here comes Azariel and Ender, and they are all fired up for this match, running down to the ring, ready to begin!

Ender takes down Eric Flaherty and begins punching him into the mat with hard right and left hands, as Azariel dropkicks Tornado into the ropes but Tornado comes back with a clubbing blow to the side of the head, and then pulls Azariel and lifts him up for the Tornado Ride, but Azariel jumps off at the height of the move, and sweeps Tornados feet while Ender dropkicks Tornado in the face. Tornado goes down and Azariel and Ender turn their attention to Flaherty, whipping him into the ropes, and hitting him with a double high back drop. Flaherty hits the mat and rolls out of the ring as Azariel and Ender hit kicks to Tornados head as he gets to his feet, and Azariel goes to hit a spinning heel kick on Tornado, but Tornado catches him, but Ender hits the rope, then hits a chopblock on Tornados legs, and Tornado once again hits the mat, and Ender and Azariel drop simultaneous elbows on Tornado. Azariel then hits the ropes, and Ender lifts Azariel above his head, before dropping him on Tornado for a splash. Azariel again gets to his feet and hits the ropes once more, as Ender lifts him above his head, walking to the edge of the ring, then throwing Azariel over the top rope, hitting a corkscrew on Flaherty, who was standing on the outside.

Maura Downs: Ender and Azariel looking extremely good and solid as a tag team in the early going here.

Louis Carvanelie: Some nice offence and even took Tornado down a couple of times.

Ender dropkicks Tornado in the head and Tornado is backed against the ropes, as Ender grabs the top rope and begins stomping down on Tornado, as Azariel rolls Flaherty into the ring. He jumps up onto the apron, and quickly hits a springboard moonsault on Flaherty, before dragging him to his feet and throwing him into a big boot from Ender. Ender and Azariel then clothsline Tornado over the top rope, and whip Flaherty into the ropes, hitting a double flapjack on Flaherty. Eric hits the mat hard and bounces to his feet, into a double dropkick, before being once again dragged to his feet, and hit with a double suplex. Ender goes to the second rope, and hits a legdrop, before Azariel and Ender throw Flaherty over the top rope into Tornados way. The ref hasn't gained control of the match yet, and finally, Azariel steps onto the apron, beckoning Ender to start the match. Tornado and Flaherty are arguing on the outside, angry at the initial assault from Ender and Azariel. Tornado says he'll start the match and steps into the ring, as Flaherty takes his place on the apron. The bell finally rings and the match is underway. Ender smiles and glances back at Azariel but in that split-second, Tornado hits a big boot on Ender, knocking him back into his corner, but Azariel tags in and climbs up onto the top turnbuckle. He dives off for the clothsline but Tornado moves out of the way and Azariel rolls through. Tornado is left faced against Ender and grabs him around the throat, throwing him in Azariels way. Enders body distracts Azariel for a second, and Tornado takes advantage with a huge clothsline, folding Azariel up. He tags in Flaherty who jumps the top rope and hits a big right hand on Ender, and whips him into the turnbuckle, and then grabs Azariel, and whips him into Ender. Tornado then whips Flaherty into Azariel and Ender, and the Eric Flaherty moves out of the way, and Tornado runs full force into the both of them. Azariel stumbles out of the corner into a huge one arm flapjack, as Ender now goes foward, into a sidewalk slam from Tornado. Flaherty is on the top turnbuckle, and hits an elbow drop onto Azariel as Tornado squashes Ender with a legdrop.

Maura Downs: Now that the match has started, Tornado and Flaherty have gained the advantage.

Louis Carvanelie: A few power moves hit and the momentum has changed.

Flaherty throws Azariel into Tornado who hits a fall-away slam, and then picks up Ender, and throws him over the top rope. Tornado goes to his corner while Flaherty works over Azariel with some elbow shots to the jaw, and then whips Azariel into the ropes, but Azariel reverses with a spinning hurracanrana, and then hits the ropes, but Tornado drives a knee into Azariels back, and Azariel stumbles foward into a hip toss from Flaherty, followed by a reverse DDT as he drags Azariel to his feet. Azariel crawls and tries to get to his corner, as Flaherty laughs, and drags Azariel back, and drops an elbow across the back. Azariel tries to get to his feet, but instead settles on rolling onto his back, and kicking Flaherty in the stomach, sending him back into the ropes, but unfortunately, is stopped before he can make the tag, and Flaherty snaps his neck back diving over and hitting the neckbreaker. He then stomps down on Azariel and turns to Ender, swearing at him and drawing him into the ring. The ref goes over to Ender and tells him to get out of the ring, as Flaherty drags Azariel to his corner, and Tornado enters the ring, as they both begin working over Azariel. The ref comes back and tells them they should have tagged in but allows the tag.

Maura Downs: There wasn't a tag there, and Tornado is taking full advantage of that, as Flaherty makes his way onto the apron.

Louis Carvanelie: Whenever you face someone like Tornado, it's always more physically draining than usual, as he beats you down with power moves, and even a simple push hurts like hell.

Tornado brings his huge fists across Azariel and Azariel is left gasping for air, as Tornado beats him with chops across the chest, before body slamming him to the mat. He yells something at Ender, which drags him in again, and while the ref is busy with Ender, Tornado rips the turnbuckle padding off the top turnbuckle. He lifts Azariel above his head and then drops him, but Azariel lands on his feet, and dropkicks Tornado into the exposed turnbuckle. Tornado stumbles back, and gets another dropkick, sending him back into the turnbuckle. Tornado takes a step back, and falls straight on his back, as Azariel crawls his way to Ender, but Flaherty inserts himself in the ring, and the ref rushes over, AS AZARIEL GETS THE TAG!! The ref turns as Ender knocks Tornado down with a right hand, and then clothslines Flaherty down, but the referee quickly gets in his way, saying that there was no tag, and to get back onto the apron. Ender begins arguing with the ref as Flaherty takes advantage and pulls Azariel into their corner, and slides out of the ring, pulling Azariel into the ring post!! Tornado begins working him with stiff kicks and begins choking him in the corner, before throwing him up with ease, and hitting snake eyes on the turnbuckle, hitting the ropes and then a big boot. He walks up to Ender, and then fakes turning his back on him, before turning and knocking him off the apron. The ref yells at Tornado, but Tornado shoves him out of the way, allowing Azariel to kick Tornado low and then hits a DDT on the big man. Flaherty comes into the ring and tries to make the save, but Azariel kicks him back into the turnbuckle, and then sends him flying over the top rope with a double leg dropkick. Azariel reaches deep and despite the pain in his ribs, takes the fight to Tornado, nailing him with another low shot while the ref has his back turned, checking on Ender. The ref turns back and Azariel grabs the tree trunk legs of Tornado, and locks in a figure four!

Maura Downs: Azariel turning up the heat there, and he somehow managed to get the figure four leg lock on Tornado.

Louis Carvanelie: What's Flaherty doing? He's stalking Ender!!

Flaherty runs foward and drives Ender into the steel steps!! He then rolls into the ring and distracts the referee, as Tornado is tapping!!

Maura Downs: Tornado is tapping dammit, this match should be over!!

Louis Carvanelie: But no, look at Tornado now, he's using his strength and lifting Azariels lower body off the ground using his legs and look at those vicous right hands from Tornado, and Azariel, despite Tornado tapping, is forced to release the hold.

Maura Downs: But what damage has it done to Tornados legs.

Tornado struggles to his feet, and Ender pulls Flaherty down, smashing his head on the apron, before jumping up himself and trying to get involved but the referee steps in the way again, as Tornado grabs Azariel as he goes for the enziguri, and kicks him in the mid-section, AND THEN HITS THE TORNADO RIDE!! He covers. 1.....2......3! But the referee is distracted!!

Louis Carvanelie: Well, Maura, looks as if the match should have been over there but it wasn't.

Maura Downs: And Ender has got past the referee... Tornado hasn't seen him.... FINALE KICK!!

Ender hits his finisher on Tornado and drapes Azariels arm over Tornado, quickly sliding out of the ring, as the ref makes the count. 1.....2.....Flaherty drags the referee out of the ring! The ref begins berating Flaherty on the outside, threatning to disqualify him, as Ender has grabbed a chair, and keeping a close eye on the referee on the outside, slides into the ring, and as Tornado slowly gets to his feet, cracks it across his skull. Tornado staggers but doesn't fall, but Ender quickly throws the chair away, realising the sound alerted the referee, AND QUICKLY HITS THE FINALE KICK AGAIN!! Flaherty jumps up on the apron, as Ender knocks him straight back off, and Azariel drapes an arm over Tornado again, and the ref counts. 1......2.......3!! ENDER AND AZARIEL WIN!!

Maura Downs: Ender and Azariel win over Tornado and Eric Flaherty, and they used Tornado and Flahertys dirty tactics against them.

Louis Carvanelie: The chair shot and the Finale kick were enough to end the match, but Tornado is going to be pissed when he realises what has happened.

CHRISTIAN CAGE VS LANCE LOCKWOOD
WORLD OF PAIN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

'Seek and Destroy' hits the PA system, and out walks EWA legend Christian Cage, the World Of Pain champion.

Maura Downs: And we are ready for Cages first title defence since winning the World of Pain championship in the battle royal, when Dave Chain changed the rules right at the end. Now Lance Lockwood has accepted Cages challenge, and is looking to make a name for himself by taking out a legend. Louis Carvanelie: You have to think what wonders it will do for Lockwoods career if he manages to beat Cage, a former EWA Universal Champion.

Maura Downs: That would sure make EWA staff notice the rookie more wouldn't you say Louis?

Louis Carvanelie: Sure would, and he would be placed in more high profile matches like this one, and get more opportunities at championships, and if he wins, don't forget to mention it'll be his first title in a matter of weeks of joining the EWA...

Christian Cage turns towards the entrance ramp and waits on Lockwood, as his music hits, but Lockwood has come out from under the ring and slid in behind Cage. He goes for a right hand, but Cage turns at the last second and grabs his arm, knocking him down with a clothsline.

Maura Downs: Woah, Lockwood tried to gain the advantage by means of a sneak attack, but Cage had it scouted.

Louis Carvanelie: You can't pull that one on Christian Cage Maura, and now Lockwood is going to pay.

Cage starts stomping down on Lockwood and drags him up to his feet, hitting a snap suplex on his opponent. Lockwood gets to his feet into a kick, and another snap suplex. Lockwood gets to his feet again, though much slower, and walks into a short arm clothsline, followed by an elbow drop, and then Lockwood is dragged to his feet again. Cage knocks him into the corner with a right hand, and then begins stomping him down in the corner, again and again, before dragging him up, and hitting a couple of knife edge chops across Lockwoods chest. Lockwood tries to move away from the corner, but Cage pulls him back in, and hits another knife edge chop, before whipping him into the opposite turnbuckle, and hitting a clothsline in the corner. Lockwood hits it hard and falls flat on his face, as Cage drags him to the centre of the ring, and places Lockwood in a side headlock, and is putting pressure on the neck. Lockwood is screaming in pain, but doesn't utter the words, 'I quit', no matter how much the ref persists. Somehow, Lockwood begins to get to his feet, and he pushes Cage into the ropes, but Cage comes back with a shoulder block, knocking Lockwood down. Cage then drags Lockwood back to his feet, and lifts him up high, in a stalling vertical suplex, before bringing him crashing down to the mat.

Maura Downs: Cage just dominating Lockwood, but hasn't gone for any pin covers just yet.

Louis Carvanelie: He wants to hurt this young wrestler, prove he can still hang with them, and more.

Maura Downs: And he wants to humiliate him as well, no doubt.

Cage grabs Lockwood and lifts him up by his hair, but Lockwood, out of desperation, hits two low blows on Cage, who is bent double.

Maura Downs: Dirty tactics, but anythings legal in this World Of Pain championship match!

Louis Carvanelie: And that has just given Lockwood the time he needs to recover.

Cage goes down on his knees, and Lockwood gets to his feet, hitting the ropes, and then a double footed dropkick onto Cage, who snaps back, and then forward onto his face. Lockwood begins his assault now with shots to Cages back, before dragging Cage to his feet and hitting a DDT, as he quickly rolls out of the ring, and searches under the ring apron. He pulls out a stop sign, and a 2x4, as well as a couple of other foreign objects, and slides them all into the ring, before folding up a chair and sliding into the ring with it too. Cage has got to his feet, and Lockwood walks foward into the chair, but Cage kicks him and causes him to drop the chair, and then hits a spinebuster. He falls back against the ropes, and then goes for Lockwood, but Lockwood grabs the stop sign next to him and smashes it across Cages skull, but it doesn't send him down. Lockwood nips to his feet, and smashes the stop sign over his head again, denting it but not sending Cage down. He then falls back into the ropes, and springs himself across the ring, flying through the air, and smashing it down on Cages head, finally sending him down. He goes for the quick cover. 1.......2......(Cage kicks out)

Maura Downs: Lockwood is going to try everything now he has Cage where he wants him, and you have to wonder, after Cages absence, is he up to the hardcore direction this match is taking?

Louis Carvanelie: Time will tell Maura, but I'm not too sure. He doesn't look too good at the moment.

Lockwood now weilds the 2x4 and watches as Cage gets slowly to his feet, and then swings it in Cages direction, but Cage moves out of the way, and hooks the arm, hitting a variation of the facebuster with the arm in a hammerlock armbar position. Lockwood smashes his head against the stop sign, and Cage drags him to his feet again, not giving him time to rest, before driving his elbow into his face a few times, and dropping Lockwood with a DDT onto the sign. Cage still doesn't give Lockwood time to rest, hitting a legdrop onto the back of Lockwoods neck. He then slides out of the ring and grabs another chair. He rolls into the ring and slides the chair under Lockwoods head... He wants the con-chair-toe...

Maura Downs: Christian Cage wants to scramble Lockwoods brains!

Louis Carvanelie: It's all hardcore!! Cage is going to crack Lockwoods head open!!

Cage raises the chair high, and brings it down with tremdous force, but Lockwood dodged the impact and somehow Cage still holds the chair in his hands, as Lockwood hits the ropes, and hits a dropkick into the chair, into Cages face. Cage falls to the mat now, and Lockwood now places Cages head onto the chair. He raises the other chair high, AND BRINGS IT DOWN ACROSS CAGES HEAD!!

Maura Downs: THE IMPACT!! CAGE JUST GOT HIS HEAD CRUSHED BY LOCKWOOD!! AND WE MAY HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!!

Louis Carvanelie: A taste of his own medicine maybe, and this one is surely over.

Lockwood covers Cage. 1.....2.....Cage somehow gets the shoulder up!! Lockwood looks surprised, and quickly gets to his feet. He pushes the referee, indicating that it should have been three. The ref argues back, raising two fingers and saying it was definently two, and that Lockwood should get on with the match. Lockwood looks infuriated, but turns to Cage again, and raises the chair once more, but Cage reacts, and hits a drop toe hold on Lockwood, sending his head down to the mat, crashing against the steel chair. Both Cage and Lockwood are down now, and the ref starts his ten count. 1...... 2...... 3....... 4....... 5...... 6...... Cage begins to stur, and makes an attempt to get to his feet. 7.... Lockwood gets to his feet, as does Cage and the ref stops his count. Lockwood walks foward into a tornado DDT. Lockwood is then dragged to his feet, and Cage runs foward, into a low kick from Lockwood, who pushes Cage into the corner, and stomps him down. He then grabs a bowling bowl, and goes to the opposite corner. He bowls is straight at Cage, but Cage jumps up out of the way, and it crashes against the turnbuckle. Lockwood runs foward, and Cage jumps over him, but Lockwood stops short of the ring post, Cage turns and hits a forearm across the back, and then places Lockwood onto the top turnbuckle. He goes up top and hits a frankensteiner on Lockwood. Lockwood is out of it and Cage pulls him into the Sharpshooter... Lockwood desperately tries to reach the ropes, but Cage pulls him back, and Lockwood is forced to tap out. Christian Cage retains...

Maura Downs: Lockwood brought on some offence, but in the end, Christian Cage with a convincing win.

Louis Carvanelie: Cage hasn't missed a step since leaving, but the question is, whose next?

Maura Downs: But up next, well, we don’t exactly know…

FLASH: The Fourth Horseman Rides In

“The End” by the Doors begins to play as the brutron runs blood red, and the following letters appear on the crimson canvas.

"And behold, a pale horse, and he who sat on it, his name was Death. Hell followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him." - Revelations 6:8

The entrance ramp fills with smoke and the Fourth Horseman walks through the ankle deep mist clad in a long black cloak that trails behind him.

Louis Carvanellie: What’s this? It wasn’t scheduled for the PPV.

Maura Downs: I think we’re going to find out who The Fourth Horsman is, that’s what.

Louis Carvanellie: Well I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Upon arriving at ringside the cloaked form makes his way up the steel steps slowly, and centering himself perfectly in the ring produces a microphone from one of his sleeves.

Fourth Horseman: The dawn of a new Era is on the EWA, the dawn of the last Era. The Alpha has come and gone and now you sit ignorantly in your seats pretending that the Omega will never darken your doors. Your dreams shall be shattered for I am the end. Just as everything that I have cared for been taken from me so shall I do to you. From Christian Cage to Mike Victory to Allisa, to Gary Mac, down the line of fallen heros, they have come and gone and come again, tarnishing the Gold of the EWA till it’s worth is less then that of petty tin. How many times has your Champions let you down? How many times have they fallen in defete? I too have fallen in my life, I too have failed, but no more will I be a shell, no more will I be a tool for you to live your pathetic lives through. NO LONGER WILL I BE A CHAMPION! I am the Anti-Climax, I am the FIN DU MONTE!

Throwing back his head with his arms held wide The Fourth Horseman reveals himself to be... Maura Downs: HOLY CRAP!

Louis Carvanellie: MALINKO!

** EWA PRESENTS PANDEMONIUM! November 30th. **

FLASH: Talking Shit

----For the second week in a row, the picture suddenly begins to go fuzzy. When we fade back in, we fade in on a shot of "The New Talent" Davlin McCaine sitting in a lounge chair overlooking a clear blue/green ocean, a cold beer in his hand. The shot cuts to one looking straight at the casual McCaine. He looks up at the camera.

DAVLIN: "Well I'm Mike D. and I'm back from the dead. Chilling on the beach down at Club Med." No....actually I'm "The New Talent" Davlin McCaine and I'm chilling outside of my summer home in sunny Florida, but the Beastie Boys quote is still pretty apt.

As you can see (holding up his castless arm) the cast is now off. Of course, I still have a few more weeks of recovery and getting back into ring shape before I'm back in the EWA, kicking sorry ass and pissing on names....like I always do. But don't think that my pain free relaxation on a stunningly beautiful beach filled with MANY fine bitches is going to mean a soft ass TALKING SHIT. Because as any bitch that's ever been with me can attest.....softness is NOT a common Davlin McCaine trait.

And hey....SPEAKING of softness....or weakness as it relates to comebacks.....let's take a BRIEF moment to reflect on some of the not so nice words my main target last week, Thomas Purr, had to say in retaliation to my BRUTAL blasting of him. I mean, I expected something witty or exciting from Purr, but all he could come back with is, "I'm gonna beat your ass." Wow.....how stunningly 80s. I'm half way expecting Purr to start sporting the neon pink bands around his arms and start his promos with, "Let me tell you something, Brotherrrrrrr!!!!"

How generic.

Although, I HAVE thought of an idea that might actually help Purr regain "The Eye of the Tiger," and the nice thing is.....it could be a whole separate show that would garner the EWA EVEN MORE ratings than even MY appearances. We could recruit Pat Patterson, Terry Garvin, Adrian Adonis, Golddust, Billy, Chuck, and "The Rainbow Connection" Lenny and Lodi to try and get Purr his wrestling groove back. You could call it "Queer Eye for the Used to be a Good Wrestler and is now Sorry Guy," and it would be a RATINGS BONANZA!!!!

But enough about Purr. I no longer wish to talk about the dying. Let's move on to a guy with a very lively career in the EWA currently. In fact, he's the guy who NOT ONLY had almost an entire Tsunami dedicated to him last week, but is getting a Universal Title shot on tonight's ppv. "The Showcase Superstar" Layton Matthews.

I mean, here's a guy who seemingly had the entire EWA drooling like 40 year old men watching a Hillary Duff video, over whether or not HE was going to continue to grace the EWA with his presence by signing a new contract. Of course, in Layton's defense I must admit that he has a certain amount of Talent. In fact, in my own humble opinion, he's a pretty smart guy and a damn good wrestler.......FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!!!

I mean, come on.....was last week's Layton Matthews jack off session not the most crappy ass thing since Triple H getting HANDED the former WCW Heavyweight Championship on RAW last year? It made my stomach feel like I had just drank battery acid and saw footage from "The Golden Girls: NUDE" just watching that atrocity, and I KNOW I'm not alone. Layton Matthews has to be the most OVERRATED superstar since.........well, I'm gonna have to go with "Buff" Bagwell here. I mean, I watch his promos....and it's the SAME promo I've seen TIME and TIME before......of course, the guy was calling himself Gary Mac then....or Jordan Michaels....or a hundred others. Did Layton Matthews learn his promo skills from the "Book of Cocky Heel Cliches'," or what?

However, as unremarkable as he is in the promo and wrestling department.....I must give Layton SOME props on his political maneuvering. He took advantage of a sadly depleted roster and a weakened federation to make himself look more attractive to the EWA PTBs than he actually was. Hence, the cushy deal. Of course, he'll probably just turn out to be in cahoots with our NEW "Evil Owner" Jayson Keller, and "Evil Owner's Corporate Team vs. Company/Lone Faces Part 20465" will start to unfold. What was that line from The Who's song again....."Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss."

Of course, I'm hoping Keller is smart enough to stay away from that tired, overdone path. I'm hoping Layton Matthews/Butcher is a classic one on one match with no run ins or "evil plots" unfolding. I really hope the best man wins in this one.

And as for who I'd like to be the "best man?" Well, on one hand....if Layton DOES manage to beat The Butcher for his belt....it'd be REAL nice to be able to come back, get some righteous ass kicking revenge on the guy that helped put me out, AND become the number ONE guy in the EWA.....all at the same time......FINALLY.

But then again, I really hope The Butcher pounds that overrated ass punk into the shit stain that he is, however, leaving enough left for me to remove like a leaky garbage bag from the EWA once and for all.

Decisions, decisions.

-----At this point, the picture fades back into regular EWA programming.

Marshall Gates © versus Tommy Purr
The Conclusion

( Marshall gates comes to the ring, holding a microphone. )

Marshall Gates: I was told to do something, and that was rid the EWA of Tommy Purr. There was no better way of doing that than giving me, Marshall Gates, full control over the following match. So Jayson, being the wise man he is, gave me the power to make any damn match I wanted. So I called it the Conclusion. Tommy, this is your Conclusion. This is the end. You’re about to step into the wrong man’s domain. It’s real simple, Tommy. There was already a large cage built for the Caged Heat match, so I asked if we could do something never before done. I wanted not one cage, but three. One stacked atop another, stacked atop another. We start at the bottom, we climb a ladder to the second, open the door on the second cage, climb up it, and get inside the third cage to reach the title. It’s that easy. For me anyway. For you, Tommy Purr, this is hell. My pain is bliss, but your pain is just so damn better.

( Marshall -- leaves? Minutes later, Tommy Purr makes his entrance to a huge ovation. The crowd goes wild as Tommy poses on the turnbuckles. Then Marshall Gates’s music hits, but no Gates. Seconds of nothing occur, with Tommy looking a little confused. Then a roar. Not a humor or animal roar, but the roar of a mechanical machine being jolted to life. Suddenly, the entrance way rises up, allowing a monster truck to slowly drive down the ramp. )

Maura Downs: Are you kidding me?

( Marshall gets out the driver’s side and enter the ring. The cages slowly engulf the ring, and the bell sounds. Marshall initiates the match by charging at Purr, but Purr dodges a shoulder rush by Marshall. Marshall follows through by bouncing off a set of ropes and throwing his arm out for a clothesline. Tommy kicks Marshall in the gut and hit’s a tornado DDT. Immediately, Tommy goes for the One-Hundred-Percent Purrfection, but Marshall muscles his way out of it, kicking Tommy against the turnbuckle. Marshall rushes shoulder first into Tommy’s gut. Tommy bends over, holding his stomach. Gates sets Tommy onto the top turnbuckle. Gates is going for a Superplex -- but is soon pushed off the turnbuckle by Tommy. Tommy sets up for a TommyKnocker and flies off the top turnbuckle. Gates rolls out of the way, and out of the ring. Tommy hits his back hard, and withers in pain. Gates, on the outside, grabs the ladder that was set up, and tosses it halfway in the ring, with the other end hanging out of the ring. Tommy tries to take advantage, grabbing the ladder while still kneeling, but Gates pushes down on the ladder from the outside, causing the half of the ladder inside the ring to fly up and nail Tommy in the face. Tommy falls backwards. Gates climbs into the ring and sets the ladder up underneath the hole leading to the second cage. Gates to the very top, but Tommy reaches his feet and dropkicks the ladder over. Luckily, Gates grabbed onto the edge of the opening. Tommy grabs the ladder and sets it upright. Gates begins to pull himself up, but Tommy jumps up and grabs his feet. Still holding onto his foot, Tommy proceeds up the ladder. Gates is trying to fight the grip, but Tommy is relentless. Gates finally kicks his foot free, but by this time, Tommy has made his way to the top of the ladder and shoots off with a cross body, connecting with Gates right across the gut and forcing him to release his grasp of the edge. Both men fall hard to the ring with a giant thud. The fans go wild. Tommy is the first to his feet, and he places the ladder of Gates leg. Tommy jumps on top of the ladder, smashing Gates’s leg with a sickening crack. Tommy picks up Gates, and goes for what looks like a DDT on to the ladder -- But Gates comes out of nowhere with a spine buster! Gates has gone mad. He lets out a huge roar, causing the shocked fans to boo. Gates rolls out of the ring -- and out of the cage? Gates starts shaking the cage wall. The cage links bend and barge as Marshall Gates uses his hands and arms to rip at the cage wall. Tommy goes to roll out side, but out of nowhere, Gates manages to topple over the enter Cage wall! The heavy steel falls on top of Tommy, pinning him and cutting away at his skin. Gates walks up the wall, over Tommy, and walks to the far end, where he must now duck his head to get inside the ring and retrieve the ladder. After sliding the ladder out of the ring, Gates tosses the ladder onto the cage wall, and climbs up after it. Setting it up, Gates climbs up and enters the second cage. Tommy frees himself from the cages fierce hold, and climbs into the ring, keeping low to avoid the fallen cage wall, currently leaning from the ground and vale the ring with its steel fiery. Tommy manages to reach the other side of the wall, and finds his way to the top of the ladder, where he begins to climb up. Gates sees him coming, but goes to open the second cage door anyway. He starts to step out, but second guesses himself and turns around to meet Tommy Purr. Purr, still pulling himself through the opening and dripping blood from random cuts on his body, is greeted to the new level with a kick to the head. Tommy almost loses his grip. Gates goes for another kick, but Tommy uses one free hand to grab one of Gates’s feet, causing Marshall Gates to trip and fall backwards. Tommy pulls himself into the second cage, and stands up. Gates goes to stand up too, but is thrown head first into the steel wall by Tommy. Tommy leans against the wall for support, worn out still from the wall falling onto him. Tommy goes for a body splash to pin Marshall between a flexed body and the massive power of steel, but it didn’t work as well as Tommy had hoped. While Tommy had leaped into the air, Marshall ducked to the grounded and rolled away, causing Tommy to fly face first into a chain link wall. Gates picks Tommy into the air, and Gorilla Presses him onto the chain link ground. Both men have no fully taken advantage of how the room is a weapon. Tommy goes to push himself back up, but Gates drives an elbow into Tommy’s back. Gates has had enough, he’s going to exit the cage and climb for the third cage. He opens the door, and begins to ascend. Tommy hasn’t called it die yet, he’s crawling out the door himself. Gates sees this pathetic attempt to catch up, and while hanging halfway up the cage wall, Gates kicks Tommy in the head. Tommy lays motionless for a second, but still fights to push himself up. Finally making it to one knee, Tommy extends an arm in hope of finding a steel wall to hold himself up with. Luckily, god was showing pity this night, as he found a steel wall and managed to pick himself up with it. By this time, Gates had managed to crawl up to the third level, and was about to open the door to the third cage -- BAM! Someone dropped down from the rafters and hit Gates with a baseball bat. This new man wore a mask, much like every other wrestler who wished to keep his identity a secret for shock value. The masked man descended down the second cage’s wall and made his way to the second level, where Purr still loomed around. The Masked Man swung the bat and nailed Purr across the head with it. Finally, the transition of overused angles had come to its obvious end, as the masked man removed his mask to reveal none other than Chris Darvin. Darvin picks up Purr, and lays him out with the Omega. Seeing his chance, Darvin climbs the second cage wall once again and picks up Marshall, but Marshall manages to bullrush Darvin, sending him off the third level, and landing hard on the second level’s chain mail. Darvin lands onto his back, nearly in shock. Gates falls down once again, having used too much strength to fight off Darvin’s actions. Purr has now come alive, making his way up the cage wall, once again. Purr reaches the top, only to find that Gates is well aware. Gates throws a punch, then Tommy throws a punch. The two men are so wobbly that they both almost fall over, but thankfully catch their balance at the same time. Gates goes to throw another punch, but Tommy blocks it and sends a punch of his own. This time around, Gates isn’t so lucky, and finds himself on the edge of the third level platform. Tommy goes to punch again, but for some reach ducks -- only to find out that Darvin was going for a clothesline, and managed to miss Purr and hit Marshall, sending him off the third level and back onto the second level. Marshall, much to Tommy’s displeasure, lands on his feet. Darvin looks shocked as hell that he missed, but is rewarded by Tommy pushing him over the edge and on top of Marshall. Both men collide and fall to the icy cold steel. Tommy uses what little energy he has to enter the third cage and walk to the middle. He grabs the TV title, and collapses. )

Winner: Tommy Purr.

( Gates is furious. He tosses Darvin off of him and furiously climbs the cage. He makes his way inside the third cage, and picks up Tommy. Gates drags Tommy out of the cage and tucks Tommy’s head between his legs. The fans go nuts, those that know what is about to happen. Gates lifts Tommy into a power bomb position, but locks his arms for a Crucifix Powerbomb. Gates sends Tommy over the edge with none other than Hell’s Gates, but it doesn’t end there. Upon the crash, Tommy’s side of the second level gives in, causing Tommy and the pieces of the steel to fall directly into the cage wall that had been tipped over in the beginning of the match. Tommy has won, but shows no sign of victory. Darvin slides through the newly made hole, and begins laying into Tommy with Tommy’s own TV belt. )

FLASH: Hell Hath No Fury

( While the EMTs remove the opponents from the ring, and security removes Darvin, Jayson Keller is seen backstage. )

Jayson Keller: (Frowning) What the hell is this?

( Darvin comes crashing through the curtain with a huge smile on his face. )

Chris Darvin: Did you see that?

Jayson Keller: (Shaking his head) Yeah, you just committed over four acts of law braking. Congratulations.

Chris Darvin: Bah, come on. It was well worth it. Tommy is a bloody mess, there’s no way he can continue to wrestle now.

Jayson Keller: (Turning red) You IDIOT. Marshall had this all taken care of. Tommy was finished for good. Then you show up. You’re not even under contract with EWA. You’re trespassing. Then you lay your hands on Marshall Gates, causing him to fall off the cage? That’s battery. Then Tommy Purr wins, and you interfered without a legal contract. That’s violating safety not only for this arena but for me as an OWNER.

Chris Darvin: (Taking a step back) Woah. Come down man, did you hear what I said? Tommy is done. It doesn’t matter if he won, he can’t compete next week.

Jayson Keller: No, that’s just the problem. He HAS to compete next week. I can’t fire him now, you asshole. He WON his match. He WON the TV title. That makes him not only the TV champion, but my next payperview’s main event. He’s legally obligated to stay in my show, and I have no choice but to give him his rights. You ruined everything.

Chris Darvin: I didn’t know that if --

( Just then, Keller is grabbed and shoved against the wall. It’s Tornado, and he’s mad. )

Tornado: (Grabbing Keller by the throat) I’m tired of this.

Jayson Keller: (Struggling to get the breath) O … O… OF what?

Tornado: You call my match a MATCH? That was nothing. I deserve something big. I want to kill someone. I want gold. I want victory. I want blood.

( Tornado releases his grip and throws a chair across the room. )

Tornado: And do you know what will happen if I don’t get it?

Jayson Keller: (Grinning, and fixing his suite) I’m sure I have an idea. Listen, I have an idea for you. You’ll face someone next week, indeed. In fact, the winner of your match gets to face the winner of Sam Hain and The Ender the following week for the US title. Tornado: So if I win next week, I get a US title shot the following week?

Jayson Keller: Exactly.

Tornado: (Cocking his head) Better. Now, that wasn’t so hard, was it?

Jayson Keller: Indeed it wasn’t.

Tornado: But who’s my opponent?

Jayson Keller: Oh. He’s right … there.

( Tornado is throw face first into the wall … by a bloodied Marshal Gates. Gates and Tornado begin throwing punches back and forth, until security come between them. In the background, Tommy is seen on a stretcher carried by EMTs. )

Jayson Keller: And its an ANYTHING GOES match too, asshole.

Chris Darvin: Nice friends. One tries to choke you, the other can’t even beat Purr.

Jayson Keller: (Walking up to Purr’s stretcher) Enjoy your little victory. I promise you, it won’t have a happy ending. You stuck your nose where it didn’t belong all night. Now, next week, I have a match for you. You’re lucky, because that title of yours won’t be on the line. It’ll be a tag team match. You will take on the team of Pain Express and BEAN. And you’re partner, Tommy will be …. Darvin.

Chris Darvin: Haha!

Jayson Keller: Enjoy your week. And you, Darvin, perhaps Davlin was right about you. I came to EWA because EWA needed a mastermind to work it. Tommy Purr just happened to be here, regardless of what Davlin thinks. You on the other hand don’t seem to stop following us around. For your meddling and menacing attachment to Tommy and I, you can’t touch him until the end of your tag match. After that, you’ll be escorted out of the arena.

Chris Darvin: What? Bullshit.

( Jayson leaves as Darvin stands over Tommy. Marshall gets is still being restrained by security, who accidentally push him back into Tommy’s stretcher. EMTs struggle to pick up the half-unconscious Tommy Purr. Fade … )

THE BUTCHER VS LAYTON MATTHEWS
CAGED HEAT

Layton Matthews makes his way to the ring and slides inside. He looks ready as anything for his championship match against the Butcher and awaits the champion and the special guest referee, as the ring announcer explains the rules...

Ring Announcer: The following is scheduled for one fall, and is for the Universal Championship. The rules are as follows. A fall can be obtained by pinfall or submission, however, there are no disqualifications, no count-outs and this Hell in a Cell match-up is NO HOLDS BARRED!!

Layton smiles as the referee says that last sentence as 'Kill You' hits the PA system and Butcher appears on the entrance ramp, making his way through flames. He has the Universal Championship match slung over his shoulder, and looks intense and ready. He makes his way down to the ring, eyes locked on Layton Matthews. Butcher points to Layton and indicates he isn't going to get his championship from him. BUT THEN SOMEONE FLYS OUT FROM BEHIND THE CURTAIN!! A man dressed all in black and has a mask on, and is completely unrecognisable. He has a steel chair and smashes it across Butchers back!! Followed by a vicous shot to the back of the head.... EMTs immediately rush out. They try to attend to Butcher but Butcher tells them he's ok, and that he'll continue on with the match.

Maura Downs: What the hell was all that about?

Louis Carvanelie: I don't know, Butcher said all along that he had a big target on his back, it could have been anybody.

Maura Downs: Butcher has a damn Hell in the Cell Match with Layton Matthews, what a dispicable act!!

Louis Carvanelie: And hear comes the special guest referee...

'King of My World' plays over the PA system and Jayson Keller, the owner of the EWA, makes his way to the ring in a striped shirt, the special guest referee for this match. He walks straight past Butcher and rolls into the ring. Butcher now makes his way into the ring and he gets inside, looking first at Layton, then at Keller.

Maura Downs: What anticipation for this match. The crowd are going crazy and Butcher and Layton haven't even begun this match-up yet.

Louis Carvanelie: Butcher has the championship locked around his waist, but will this be the last time he wears it?

Maura Downs: Butcher and Layton Matthews just staring holes into eachother! We are all set for an explosive match-up.

Louis Carvanelie: Maura?

Maura Downs: Yes Louis?

Louis Carvanelie: You don't think it was Jayson Keller who attacked Butcher moments ago do you?

Maura Downs: I don't know. I can't see a reason for it, but it could have been...

The bell rings and Butcher takes off his championship belt, and holds it up into Laytons face. Layton doesn't show any intimidation towards Butcher, as Butcher trash talks Layton, and Layton trash talks Butcher back. Butcher hands the belt to Jayson Keller and the ref raises it high in the air. Butcher turns to face his championship being raised, but Layton doesn't wait, and nails Butcher in the head with a right hand. The ref hands the belt over to the ring announcer and looks back on the match, as Layton is knocking Butcher back into the ropes, but then Butcher blocks another shot and comes back with right hands of his own, knocking Layton into the opposite ropes. Butcher begins kicking Layton down onto the second rope, and chokes him with his foot, but Layton grabs his foot and pushes him backwards, as Butcher runs foward, straight into a drop-toe hold onto the second rope. Layton gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Butchers back, as Butcher pulls himself up using the ropes turning around into a straight right hand from Layton Matthews, who know really goes all out with his punches, knocking Butcher into the corner. He then drives his shoulders into Butchers ribs, and then steps back, clothslining Butcher into the corner. Butcher walks out and ducks a kick to the face, taking Layton down with a neckbreaker.

Maura Downs: Both men just taking chunks out of eachother, all in the name of the Universal Championship.

Louis Carvanelie: Butcher has the power advantage once again in this match, and Layton Matthews has the speed advantage. Both men are equally versed in technical wrestling but so far this is turning out to me more of a brawl.

Maura Downs: Who do you think has the upper hand in a brawl then Louis?

Louis Carvanelie: It could swing either way Maura, and it's been pretty even so far.

Butcher now takes the boots to Layton, who tries to shake him off and get to his feet. Layton blocks a right hand and goes for one of his own, which is promptly blocked as well, as Butcher goes for another, which is blocked, as Layton rears back for a big punch but Butcher ducks under it, turns and gives Layton a kick to the mid-section, and scoops him up onto his shoulders, looking for the Butchers Blade!! He looks to hit his finisher, but Layton counters and lands on his feet, kicking Butcher in the gut, and looking for the Showcase Finale, but this time Butcher reverses, sending Layton into the ropes, and coming back with a spinebuster!

Maura Downs: Both men looking to hit their finisher very early in the match, and this one looks like it'll prove to be the classic we all thought it would be.

Louis Carvanelie: Both men are going to give everything they have to walk away with the victory tonight, and both men believe that can beat the other to within an inch of their life. Remember what Butcher said, he told Layton he'd have to kill him to take his title!

Maura Downs: Some strong words from both men, and they look to back it up with strong actions tonight.

Butcher lifts Layton to his feet and sends him back with an elbow shot to the face, as Layton falls back but gets in a knee on Butcher as he moves foward, and then looks for a DDT, but Butcher lifts him over for a back drop. Layton hits the mat and gets back to his feet, pushing Butcher back into the ropes, as Butcher comes back with a right hand, but Layton ducks under, hitting the ropes, and then ducking under another attempt from Butcher before hitting a diving shoulder block, knocking Butcher back into the ropes. Butcher moves out from the ropes straight into a dropkick to the jaw from Layton, who knocks the champion down. Layton then works Butcher over, with stiff kicks to the shoulder and neck area, before dragging Butcher to his feet, but Butcher battles back with some elbow shots to the ribs, and then suplexes Layton to the mat. Layton gets to his feet holding his back as Butcher takes him down with a clothsline. Again, Layton gets to his feet straight into a right hand from Butcher who beckons Layton back to his feet once again. Butcher goes for another right, but Layton blocks and hits a jawbreaker on Butcher, before getting up and body slamming Butcher to the mat. He hits the ropes and hits a legdrop now on Butchers throat, before getting up to nail some kicks to Butchers shoulders and neck again. Butcher gets to his feet as Layton still kicks him but then Butcher grabs Laytons foot, and Layton goes for an enziguri, but Butcher ducks under it, AND LOCKS IN THE ANKLE LOCK!!

Maura Downs: Look at the intensity on Butchers face, locking in that ankle lock, and Layton just yelling out in pain!

Louis Carvanelie: Layton needs to get out of this quickly, and he has, he rolled through, kicking Butcher back into the ropes!

Maura Downs: Nice counter there by Layton Matthews, who is determined to take away Butchers championship!

Butcher falls back into the ropes and comes back into a roll-up, marking the first cover of the match. 1......2......(Butcher kicks out) Layton and Butcher get to their feet and stare eachother down, before going into an intense lock-up. They move around the ring, still in the lock-up, until Butcher pushes Layton back into the corner. He grins and beckons Layton back, and Layton comes foward into another intense lock-up. The two again move around the ring, but this time it's Layton who pushes Butcher out of the way, and grins. Again, Butcher beckons for a lock-up, but baits Layton in, kicking him in the stomach, and whipping him into the ropes, throwing him up and hitting a neckbreaker as Layton comes back down.

Maura Downs: That was an innovative move by Butcher there!

Louis Carvanelie: The champion has more up his sleeve for his first Pay-Per-View title defence.

Maura Downs: I'm sure he has, and I'm sure Layton has scouted Butcher just as much as Butcher has scouted Layton. They've already reversed each of their finishers.

Louis Carvanelie: It's hard to understand just how much preparation goes into a match of this magnitude, with both wrestlers taking their bodies to new limits in order to have the Universal strap around their wastes at the end of the night.

Maura Downs: And Jayson Keller has been playing it straight down the middle... surprisingly...

Louis Carvanelie: What do you mean surprisingly... he's got a job to do, and he's doing it...

Butcher locks in a side-headlock and wrenches back on it, as Layton raises his hand, keeping feeling in his arm. Slowly but surely, Layton begins to get to his feet, driving his elbows into Butchers ribs but Butcher quickly shoots a knee into Laytons mid-section, and whips him into the ropes again, throwing him up high once more and looking for the neckbreaker, but Layton adjusts his body in mid-air, and hits a perfect dropkick onto Butchers chest, sending him down! Butcher gets to his feet and straight away, Layton gives him a stiff kick, and drags him foward. POWERBOMB INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!!

Maura Downs: What a high-impact move from Layton Matthews, nearly breaking Butchers neck!

Louis Carvanelie: And just like that, the momentum once again has changed. Maura Downs: You've got to think though, that Layton has been targeting that neck and shoulder area a few times in that match, and that one move has done the most damage. Maybe he's weakening Butcher for the Scales.

Louis Carvanelie: Maybe, but right now Layton is taking the fight to Butcher, with those stiff kicks again to the neck and shoulders.

Layton places Butchers head on the ropes, and begins to drive his foot in the neck, choking Butcher against the ropes. He releases the hold as Butcher gets to his feet, into a right hand by Layton, followed by an Irish Whip straight into a scoop slam and legdrop combination. Layton then looks to hook the leg but somehow Butcher rolls out of a pinning attempt, and locks in the arm around Laytons back, but Layton quickly counters with an elbow to the head and gets back to his feet, before again putting the boots to Butcher. Butcher tries to get to his feet and he swings for Layton, but Layton dodges the impact, AND LOCKS IN THE SCALES!!

Maura Downs: It could be over!! We are going to have a new champion!!!

Louis Carvanelie: Butcher is in trouble here, and that move is just wrenching back on Butcher, BUT BUTCHER COUNTERS WITH A JAWBREAKER!!

Butcher holds his neck as Layton makes a move for Butcher, but Butcher quickly grabs Layton, AND BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES HIM INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!! Layton crashes into the turnbuckle, and lands awkwardly on his neck.

Maura Downs: WE SAW THAT DONE ON MARSHALL GATES LAST WEEK, AND NOW LAYTON MATTHEWS HAS BEEN GIVEN THE SAME TREATMENT!

Louis Carvanelie: Everytime that move is performed, it cuts years off of a mans careers, and neither man here tonight is holding back.

Maura Downs: We've already seen the powerbomb into the turnbuckle, and now the belly to belly. Both men utilizing the ring to their full advantage.

Butcher falls to the mat as well, clutching at his neck and both men are down now. Slowly Butcher gets back to his feet, as Layton makes an attempt also, refusing to give up. Butcher makes his way over to Layton, who drags Butcher foward and slams his head into the second turnbuckle. Butcher bounces back and Layton makes the cover, using the ropes for leverage. 1......2......(Butcher kicks out) Butcher gets to his feet and Layton pulls himself up as well, and the two men stare eachother down again. They trade punches now and Butcher gains the advantage, knocking Layton back, but Layton blocks a punch, and this time he takes the advantage, as both superstars battle back and forth. Butcher drives his knee into Laytons ribs again, stopping the assault, and goes around the back, going for a backdrop, straight onto the ropes, INTO AN ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP!!

Maura Downs: Another high impact move, but that was taken straight out of Marshall Gates handbook.

Louis Carvanelie: An example of Butcher sucking information from his opponents. He took that move from Gates last week, so obviously he knows the damage it can do to an opponent. But Layton is still fighting Butcher off, as another stiff kick to the face as Butcher looked to lock in a leg submission there.

Butcher hits the ropes and Layton chopblocks his knee, sending Butcher straight head first into the mat. He gets back to his feet and holds his face, as Layton sweeps him off his feet, and locks in the ankle lock!! Butcher quickly rolls through and in an amateur style takedown, manages to float over, locking in the ankle lock on Layton. Layton quickly reaches the ropes though and Butcher is forced to release the hold but he drags Layton into the centre of the ring but before he can do anything, Layton rolls him up into a small package. 1...(Kick out from Butcher) Layton and Butcher get to their feet and Butcher goes for a left hook this time, trying to surprise Layton, but Layton grabs Butchers hand and swings it around his back, in a hammerlock armbar. Butcher tries to reach back and grabs Laytons head but can't, and Jayson Keller immediately gets in his face, asking if he wants to quit. Butcher says no, and again makes the attempt to get out of the hold. Layton wrenches back and the pain is obvious by the look on Butchers face. Finally, Butcher, rather uncharacteristically, swings his body over Layton Matthews and hits a German Suplex!!

Maura Downs: Another great counter, and this match is full of them at the moment.

Louis Carvanelie: Both men have great legacies to hold onto, and have excellent credentials, which makes them the best the business has to offer.

Maura Downs: And look at Butcher, holding onto the waist, and hitting a second German Suplex!

Butcher still holds onto the waist and gets to his feet, looking to hit a third, and he does, but now he goes for a forth. He gets to his feet, but Layton quickly responds, stopping the German, and going back, hitting a release German Suplex, sending Butcher over in a flip, landing on his face. Butcher looks out cold as Layton rolls over and rolls Butcher onto his back, before making the cover. 1.....2....(Butcher kicks out) Layton looks confused he didn't get the win there, but gets to his feet, as does Butcher. Butcher blocks a right hand and sends Layton into the turnbuckle, running forward for the spear, but Layton jumps over and onto the apron, and Butcher hits the ring post with his shoulder. He gets back into the ring and Layton drags him foward, looking to suplex him to the outside, but Butcher twists out of it and lands on the apron. He elbows Layton in the face, but Layton retaliates with his own elbow, and the two of them beginning trading punches. Layton kicks low, and hits a DDT on the ring apron!! Butcher hits the apron and then falls to the floor on the outside.

Maura Downs: Nice move there straight out of the WWE.

Louis Carvanelie: And Layton proving Butcher isn't the only one who can digest information and use it to his advantage.

Maura Downs: And now Layton Matthews just stalking The Butcher.

Butcher tries to get to his feet but Layton drives the point of his elbow into the back of Butchers neck, keeping him up by holding onto his head. He then drives his elbow into Butchers face and whips him into the steel steps!! Butcher crashes to the steel steps and hits them hard on his knees, as he goes over them and hits the floor. Layton moves over to the Butcher and drags him to his feet. Butchers eyes are glazed over as Layton grabs a hold of his head, and trash talks him, pointing at the ring post. He goes to smash Butchers head in the way, but Butcher puts out a leg and blocks it, and instead sends Laytons head crashing into it, and then slams his head into the apron, and finally the steel steps. Layton looks out of it now as Butcher steps up onto the ring apron, and Layton Matthews climbs up with him. Layton tries and climb over the top rope, but Butcher drags him back onto the apron, as Jayson Keller tells them both to get in the ring. Layton and Butcher both push Jayson Keller back, but Layton takes advantage with a low blow, followed BY A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX FROM THE APRON, THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!! The crowd chant 'Holy Sh!t, Holy Sh!t'

Maura Downs: I have to agree with the fans, that was disastrous!! I don't know whose idea it was to have the announcers tables INSIDE THE CAGE, but it doesn't appear to be a good one. The steel cell surrounds the whole ring and the tables, so it's bigger than the average Hell in a Cell well, cell...

Louis Carvanelie: Butcher just crashed through our damn announce table!!

Maura Downs: And that took a little out of Layton Matthews as well, as he landed awkward when he fell back from releasing Butcher from the German!!

Louis Carvanelie: That was just crazy... I don't even know if Butcher can get up, he looks dead!!

Maura Downs: But Layton Matthews is getting up, and look at this...

Layton Matthews picks the lifeless body of Butcher from the remains of the announce table and rolls him into the ring. He slides into the ring and quickly hooks the leg.

Maura Downs: It must be over, we have a new champion...

Louis Carvanelie: 1.... Butchers eyes are closed, it's over.... 2...... New Champion..... 3!! NO!!!

Maura Downs: UNBELIEVABLE, SOMEHOW BUTCHER GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!

Louis Carvanelie: BUTCHER SAID LAYTON WOULD HAVE TO KILL HIM, AND DAMMIT LAYTON TRIED, BUT THERE'S STILL SOME FIGHT LEFT IN BUTCHER!!

Maura Downs: And now what is Layton doing...?

Layton drags Butcher to his feet and lifts him up onto his shoulders..... AND HITS THE BUTCHERS BLADE!!! He hooks the leg...

Maura Downs: Not like this dammit, Butcher kick out!! 1......

Louis Carvanelie: Humiliation Maura, humiliation!! 2......

Maura Downs: 3!! NO!!! BUTCHER KICKED OUT AGAIN!! WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE!?

Layton looks frustrated that he didn't put Butcher away with Butchers own finisher the Butchers Blade, and proceeds to lift Butcher back to his feet. An evil grin spreads across Laytons face as he lifts Butcher onto his shoulders again.

Maura Downs: Layton is determined to humiliate Butcher here and finish him with his own finisher!

Louis Carvanelie: THE BUTCHERS BLADE!! NO!!! BUTCHER COUNTERED AND LANDED ON HIS FEET, SHOWCASE FINALE!! SHOWCASE FINALE!! Maura Downs: BUTCHER JUST HIT LAYTONS FINISHER ON HIM!! CAN HE DO IT?!?

Butchers eyes show no signs of life, but Butcher manages to drape an arm over Layton Matthews.

Maura Downs: What a match (1) but Layton Matthews has felled to his own finisher!

Louis Carvanelie: (2) He wanted to- NO!! LAYTON GOT THE SHOULDER UP!!! WHAT A MATCH!!!

Maura Downs: Both men are REFUSING to quit. They just won't give up!

Louis Carvanelie: As I was saying, Butcher wanted to humiliate Layton Matthews as well, but Layton wasn't having any of it.

Maura Downs: Both superstars appear to have nothing left, and the ref has no choice but to start his ten count.

Louis Carvanelie: (1) It's been one hell of a match Maura, (2) but I'm going to have to go out on a limb and (3) say that this is over...

Maura Downs: Of (4) course, if it ends on a count-out, then Butcher (5) retains the Universal Championship! (6)

Louis Carvanelie: A win is a win Maura, whether it's a count-out, submission or pinfall... (7)

Maura Downs: But look at them both, actually making an attempt to get to their (8) feet...

Louis Carvanelie: (9) THEY'RE UP!! The match, unbelievingly, continues!

Both men look exhausted, and Butcher is busted open since the german suplex through the announce table. Layton walks foward, into a spear from Butcher, and again Butcher covers, BUT AGAIN LAYTON KICKS OUT!! Butcher tries to drag Layton to his feet, and Layton as quick as anything, gets behind Butcher, and locks in the Scales!! Butcher yells out in pain again, and Jayson Keller asks Butcher if he wants to quit. Butcher keeps saying no, but with less obvious effort as he loses strength. He looks like he's gone as Jayson Keller lifts his arm up, and it falls. 1. He lifts the arm up again, and again it falls. 2. He lifts it up one last time, and it... doesn't fall, Butcher keeps his arm in the air, and his eyes open wide, as he makes an attempt to get out of the hold, and snapmares Layton over, AND LOCKS THE SCALES ON LAYTON!! Layton Matthews flips over to Butchers back, which releases the hold though, and locks in the Scales again!! Butcher walks over to the ropes, still yelling out in agony, but kicks out, springboarding off the ropes, forcing Layton to release the hold.

Maura Downs: That was a unique way to get out of the Scales, but how much did it take out of Butcher.

Louis Carvanelie: This match has taken a lot out of both superstars Maura.

Maura Downs: I know, and neither man seems to be able to put the other away!

Butcher gets to his feet, and rests over the top rope, as Layton slowly gets to his feet as well. Butcher turns... STRAIGHT INTO THE SHOWCASE FINALE!! Layton covers.... 1......2.......(Butcher just gets the shoulder up) Layton can't believe it, as Butcher lays motionless once again on the mat. He slides out of the ring and throws the ring announcer off his chair. He folds it up and angrily throws it into the ring as Jayson Keller grabs a hold of it. Layton gets in the ring and snatches the chair back, as Keller issues the warning. Layton doesn't seem to care, as Butcher slowly gets to his feet and Layton raises the chair high, but Butcher kicks Layton in the mid-section, causing Layton to drop the chair, before scooping him up onto his shoulders, AND HITTING THE BUTCHERS BLADE!! IT HAS TO BE OVER!! 1......2...... (Layton now just gets the shoulder up!)

Maura Downs: How close was that? First the Showcase Finale, and then the Butchers Blade. Both men at least hitting THEIR finisher!

Louis Carvanelie: But still it isn't enough. And they both must be thinking, WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE!!?

Maura Downs: This match has been taken to new levels, and the cell still looms over things, having not made an impact on the match.

Louis Carvanelie: It's amazing... These two warriors encaged in this cell, and the only man who has got the keys is that man, Jayson Keller, the owner of the EWA.

Butcher gets to his feet, and Layton somehow is still alive, pulling himself up by the ropes. He turns around, straight into a clothsline which sends both Butcher and Layton over the top rope, landing right next to the Cell door. Jayson Keller slides out of the ring and lets both men know that the match can only be won in the ring, yet they won't be penalised for taking the fight to the outside. Butcher grabs Laytons head and grates it across the side of the steel cell. Layton screams in pain as the blood disperses itself over his face. Butcher then rams Laytons face into the cell, but Layton blocks, and instead rams Butchers face into the cell. Butcher hits the mat and Layton grabs Butchers legs, before slingshotting him straight into the cell, and Butcher falls with his back slap down on Laytons knees. Butcher falls to the floor and Layton gets up resting against the stairs. He turns around as Butcher gets to his feet, and goes for a straight kick to the face, but Butcher ducks... AND LAYTON NAILS JK STRAIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!! He looks shocked, but shrugs it off, and turns around, straight into a right hand by Butcher, who then smashes his head into the steel steps again, before driving him against the steel structure.

Maura Downs: This match has gone on long and only now has the cell been made as a weapon!

Louis Carvanelie: It shows the dedication of both wrestlers, they don't care how they do it, as long as they hurt eachother.

Maura Downs: What a match they are having here, but Keller just paid the price for being the referee. He's up now, and he doesn't look too happy!

Jayson Keller pushes Butcher out of the way, and starts berating Layton for hitting him, but Layton doesn't seem to care, or notice for that matter. Butcher turns Keller around and starts yelling at him, telling him there's a match that's taking place, and he should concentrate on that. Keller pushes Butcher and Butcher pushes Keller back as Butcher gets a right hand from Layton now, and another, as Keller tries to insect himself between them but Layton mistakenly hits Keller across the face. Keller gets extremely annoyed now and reaches inside the ring and grabs the chair Layton dropped. Layton turns around, and Keller takes a swing with the chair, BUT LAYTON DUCKS, AND BUTCHER GETS THE CHAIR DENTED ACROSS HIS SKULL!!!

Maura Downs: Woah, that won't go down well with Butcher!!

Louis Carvanelie: I've just had a thought... You think this is all some plan to take out Butcher... You think maybe Keller meant to hit Butcher with that chair!?

Maura Downs: It's a possibility but I'm not too sure.

Louis Carvanelie: Attack him at the beginning of the match, and during. What more proof do you need?

Maura Downs: Hang on a second, we aren't sure it was Keller who attacked Butcher at the beginning of the match!

Louis Carvanelie: It's the perfect plan, you said yourself you don't know what business Keller has here, and that might be the reason.

Maura Downs: I never... Ah damn...

Jayson Keller looks shocked that he knocked down Butcher as Layton pick pockets Keller and steals the Cell door key. While Keller is pre-occupied with Butcher, Layton opens the lock with the key and throws it under the ring, as he turns his attention back to Butcher. Butcher is dazed and Layton drags him over to the door, AND THROWS HIM STRAIGHT THROUGH!! Keller looks shocked that the door has been broken down, before checking his pockets. He discovers the key has been taken, and shakes his head.

Maura Downs: The match has spilled to the outside!!

Louis Carvanelie: Oh no, the fans are going to be expecting something special, and usually when they do, they get it!

Maura Downs: I know what you are suggesting, but they'd be insane!!

Butcher tries to get to his feet but falls down as Layton grabs him and pulls him up, before running him into the steel cell structure. Layton drags Butcher back to his feet, but Butcher blocks and smashes Laytons head against the cell this time, before DDTing him into the floor. He looks down at Layton then at the top of the cell. He mouths, 'See you up on the top bitch' and proceeds to climb the cell. He reaches the top and raises his arms as Layton looks up and sees Butcher taunting him from the top. Layton decides he's not going to take it, and climbs the cell after Butcher. He reaches the top and Butcher gets an evil grin on his face. He licks the blood pouring down his face and spits at Laytons feet, as the blood drips inside the cell.

Maura Downs: Ladies and gentlemen, we have just taken a step into hell.

Louis Carvanelie: Hell in a Cell Maura, or in this case, Hell on top of a cell. Maura Downs: I don't know what is keeping these men up. Adrenaline maybe, I just don't know.

Layton runs foward, straight into an arm drag, and comes back up into another arm drag. He gets up and kicks Butcher before snap suplexing him onto the top of the cage. Butcher gets up, the cage pattern indented in his back, as Layton hits another snap suplex on the cell. Butcher gets back up and blocks another kick, hitting an enziguri on Layton then driving Laytons knee into the cell. He grates Laytons head against the cell again and then lifts him to his feet, scooping him up onto his shoulders, and he wants the Butchers Blade, BUT LAYTON REVERSES INTO A TORNADO DDT!!

Maura Downs: Remember, every bump taken is that much worse on that steel structure, which could give way at any move!

Louis Carvanelie: Every move is a risk, and even if they aren't exchanging moves, just standing there is a risk of its own.

Maura Downs: Hey, at least we can't have them flying off the cell through a table, the tables are inside the cell!! (Nervous laugh) Louis Carvanelie: Oh yeah, what about through the cell, through the announce table. Our table has already been broken! There's only one more left.

Butcher gets up and walks straight into a Northern Lights Suplex from Layton! Layton puts the boots to Butcher and then looks down through the cage. He looks around at the crowd, who feel what Layton is thinking. Butcher gets to his feet and Layton drags him up into a high angle scoop slam, looking to drive Butcher through the cell, but Butcher rolls off and lands on his feet as Layton turns and SLAP! Butcher slaps his hand across Laytons throat, wanting the chokeslam, but Layton hits three consecutive elbows to Butcher, forcing him to release his grip. Butcher holds his face and turns into a right hand from Layton, as Butcher swings back and connects but Layton swings with a right hand, but Butcher ducks it, and hits a full nelson slam on Layton, but although the cell top looks unstable, it doesn't cave in.

Maura Downs: I don't like this, I don't like it one bit.

Louis Carvanelie: Really, I'm loving it!

Maura Downs: You would, but someone is going to get killed here tonight!

Louis Carvanelie: Well, Butcher did say that was the only way Layton would get the championship from him!

Layton rolls on the top of the cell, which grates into his back. Butcher has a sadistic look on his face as he drags Layton up and points over the edge of the cell. He smiles a sick, twisted smile, but Layton stops that with an elbow to the ribs, and then a firemans carry on the steel. Butcher gets to his feet, and there are numerous cuts on his back from the steel cutting into him, as Layton goes for the Showcase Finale, but Butcher reverses, spinning Layton and throwing him on his shoulders but Layton slips off, but Butcher counters with a right ant then HITS A CHOKESLAM!! THROUGH THE CELL!! THE STEEL GAVE WAY AND LAYTON CRASHED TO THE MAT!! A 'Holy Sh!t' chant rises in the air again, with increasing intensity!

Maura Downs: OH MY GOD!! LAYTON MATTHEWS IS DEAD!!

Louis Carvanelie: What a sadistic, evil human being the Butcher is, and he may have just ended Layton Matthews life, let alone his career!

Butcher climbs down, and lands on the mat, as Jayson Keller looks legitimately shocked at the fall. Butcher hooks the leg for the cover.

Maura Downs: Butcher has done it, he's successfully defended his championship that means so much to him. (1)

Louis Carvanelie: And in the sickest way possible, through the steel from the top of the cell! (2)

Maura Downs: What a match, with a tragic ending ladies and gentlemen, and Layton is- ALIVE!! SOMEHOW LAYTON GOT HIS SHOULDER UP AND MY GOD HOW DID HE DO IT!?

No-one looks more shocked than Butcher, who slams his fist down in frustration. The mat is stained in blood, and Butcher looks shocked that he hasn't picked up the win. His anger turns once again to an evil grin, as he slides out of the ring, Layton Matthews still motionless! He searches under the ring.

Maura Downs: What is Butcher doing? He wants to put Layton Matthews through more pain...

Louis Carvanelie: Layton is still down, and it looks as if getting the shoulder up was just instinct, as he's well and truly out.

Maura Downs: And it looks as if Butcher has found what he was looking for... wait a second... IT'S A GLASS TABLE!! BUTCHER IS HARKING BACK TO HIS BCW DAYS, AND LOOKING TO RELIVE OLD GLORY VIA A GLASS TABLE!! And hey wait a minute, what's that he's got in his left hand as well...

Butcher slides the table in and goes in with it, setting it up. He then pulls out the bag, and pours the contents on the floor next to the table... IT'S THUMBTACS!! He lifts Layton to his feet, and throws him on his shoulders again. His face shows evil intentions, as he goes for The Butchers Blade, but Layton somehow manages to fall away from the impact, AND HITS A VARIATION OF THE ROCK BOTTOM THROUGH THE GLASS TABLE!! Butchers eyes close and blood drips from fresh cuts from the broken glass table. Another 'Holy Sh!t' chant fires up, as Layton collapses on Butcher for the cover. 1......2......BUTCHER GOT HIS SHOULDER UP!!

Maura Downs: This is incredible. Glass and thumbtacs, falls through the cell and still, neither man wants to be the loser here tonight.

Louis Carvanelie: Maura, neither man is a loser, they have both proved tonight that they both deserve to be at the top of the EWA.

Maura Downs: Truer words have never been spoken Louis and amazingly, BOTH MEN ARE GETTING TO THEIR FEET!!!

Neither man seems to know where they are, as Butcher and Layton stagger about the ring, holding onto the ropes to keep from falling as Jayson Keller looks on, as someone slides into the ring!! A person dressed in a black cloak that covers his entire body slides into the ring, AND PULLS A BIG FLAMETHROWER FROM HIS CLOAK!! Butcher walks foward, AND THE CLOAKED MAN FIRES THE FLAMETHROWER AT BUTCHER, WHO DUCKS THE IMPACT, AND THE FLAME IS SENT STRAIGHT INTO LAYTON MATTHEWS FACE!!! Butcher gets up and clothslines the cloaked man over the top rope, and turns to Layton, AND DELIVERS THE BUTCHERS BLADE ONTO THE THUMBTACS AND GLASS PIECES!! He falls and makes the cover, that last move taking everything out of Butcher! 1.......2.......3!! The Butcher retains.

Maura Downs: WHAT A MATCH!! AND BUTCHER HAS RETAINED HIS CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER A DEVASTATING BUTCHERS BLADE ONTO TACS AND GLASS!!

Louis Carvanelie: Neither of these men are fan favorites, but dammit, they both are getting a standing ovation for everything they've put themselves through tonight.

Maura Downs: But for the second time tonight, someone went for Butcher, but this time, Butcher managed to avoid the impact, and Layton Matthews suffered because of it. The question is, who the hell wants to take Butcher out so badly?

Louis Carvanelie: This is what EWA is all about, and Butcher has successfully defended his championship!! I can't wait until Tsunami, Butcher and Layton are both going to be wanting answers!
