The EWA Spoiler - Edition #43
Monday, June 5th, 2000.

We all saw it last week - Clayton Chandler being overwhelmingly boo'ed by the fans of the EWA for his non sportsman-like treatment of Nick Diamante in his final moment in the spotlight. It seems the entire wrestling public grew a newly found respect for Diamante and Chandler after their historic "I RESPECT YOU!" Match from No Fear, but apparently, the word "sportsmanship" doesn't exist in Chandler's vocabulary. It'll be interesting to see if we hear an apology from Clayton Chandler this Tuesday Night on Heat. Chandler, it's not too late to turn back and plainly admit your actions were flat-out wrong.

How crazy was that Bedroom Brawl?? We saw handcuffs get involved, baseball bats, DISGUSTING Videos, and lots of fire! This all happened when Cody broke into the house, and entered the room that the brawl was happening in. Cody then demanded the tapes, which contained Divine's abuse on Cody's nephews and neices. When he saw them, Cody SNAPPED! He was livid! Cody went as far as to BURN Divine's "little boys", and beat him with a baseball bat! Hopefully, Divine is too injured to do anything like that again! ...I'm surprised Cody didn't get the police involved in this!

There's a small rumor going around that the EWA's Tag Team division is about to grow with the return of a very talented twosome! Take that for what it's worth!

Ok, something strange has been going on in the EWA! Well, let's just say there are some rumors floating around the backstage area that "FreakShow" Nuno Nitrowalawitz is well the hottest thing since sliced bread! At least the women say so! Personally, I have not seen nor heard from Nuno in quite a while, but the number of "Nitrowalawitz Groupies" that have been attending the EWA shows is unbelievable! FEMALE GROUPIES! Big breasts beautiful faces ALL LOOKING FOR NUNO!?! Tomorrow night on Heat, Nuno is set to take on the EWA International Champion, Nomad in Non-Title action. Are we finally going to get an answer to this odd question? If Nuno can get the girls, how come my Saturday nights have been so dull?

The Hustler and The Wildman have almost killed each other over the past few weeks... literally. This week on Heat, they have nothing scheduled. BUT, I did my research, and apparantly they are both arriving at the airport at the EXACT same time! Normally, Tom Stone works out the flights and makes sure that people who get along arrive around the same time to avoid fights in the airport. Hopefully, The Hustler and Wildman can contain themselves. If not, they'll be headed to jail! This isn't an EWA ring, it's a public place, and securtiy won't tolerate their crap!

Sales of Serial Thrylla's "D-F-A" t-shirt are going through the roof! Chris Jericho, Chandler and Nomad have also had some impressive merchandising numbers as of late. EWA-wear in general is in very high demand! Makes me proud to work for this wonderful company!

What the HELL happened last week on Heat?? We all saw Thorn LET THE BRINK PIN HIM! What the heck was that all about?? I thought these guys hated each other! Tomorrow on Heat, The Brink has a scheduled interview... I hope we get some answers. It should be interesting.

The one saying that we here in the EWA have been bombarded with over the last 6 days is "AMERICAN PRIDE". What is it? Who does it involve? Why are we being fed pictures of the stars and stripes going up in flames? I tell you fans, I'm stumped! I have no clue what this "American Pride Challenge" is, and with it holding the second to Main Event spot on tomorrow night's Heat I've got to wonder are we over-looking this event? I've got a feeling something bad is going to happen, and we're just going to let it go down!

HA!! The Iconz of Perfection WERE the Mad Monks! Personally, I enjoyed that... It was a great prank, and the Mexican Connection were PISSED! This week on Heat, the Mexican Connection have a Tag Team Match against two EWA JOBBERS! What's that all about? Is Stone sending them to the bottom of the division because they lost to the Mad Monks?? Or is this their way of prooving what their made of?? Keep in mind, The Iconz of Perfection have nothing scheduled for Heat! They might be at ringside, and who knows... maybe we'll see another upset!!

Nick Diamante will be making a trip to Paris, France this Thursday and Munich, Germany this Saturday to promote the EWA's upcoming World Tour, culminating with the Global Threat 2000 pay-per-view from The Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. Great to see that Nick Diamante is still involved with the Extreme Wrestling Association, and to combat all rumors, NO he won't be showing up in the AWA on June 9th trust me!

Also on Heat last week, we saw Chris Jericho defend his title against Hacker. It was a great match, and Hacker ended up hitting his famous Hacknife! But just then... yup, you called it, Tom Stone came out! He changed the match to a Tag Team Match, making it Jericho and Hacker against Stone and Fallen Angel! This all happened while Jericho and Hacker were out cold in the ring, thus giving Stone an opportunity to take some cheap shots. Stone and Fallen Angel grabed some chairs, and beat the hell out of Jericho and Hacker! And let me tell you, if Jericho gets his hands on Stone this week, Stone won't be walking for a few weeks!

And speaking of Chris Jericho, he's kept his word and this week he'll be defending his title against "The Franchise" Brian Nash! Hmmmmm....... "The Franchise" Chris Jericho, "The Franchise" Brian Nash.... Why not make it a Name Match? And that's exactly what it is... it's a match for the rights to the name "The Franchise". But, as usual, Jericho sounds cocky and confident about this match. If Mr. Jericho keeps up this attitude, he won't be champion for long! Brian Nash is a multi-World Champion around the wrestling world, and on Tuesday he might claim his first EWA Title!

Other companies can imitate it, but the "I RESPECT YOU!" match between Chandler and Diamante was truly a classic that will never be forgotten. So, for those of you making reference to this historic match on your own pay per views, thanks for the promotional help! No Fear will be released on VHS video cassette and DVD in the next few weeks, and free advertising aid is always accepted here in the EWA.

"Luck of the Draw"... Huh? Yes, I know... Pretty weird... But, let me explain this match. Before the match starts, the 4 contestants draw numbers backstage. Whoever gets number 1 comes out first, and number 4 comes out last, and so on. Every 4 minutes, the next contestant will come down. And to top it all off, this match is for the EWA North American Title! And this match really favours the other three contestants! They can get a maximum of 12 minutes in the ring without 8-Ball, to pin ANYONE and win his North American Title! Imagine that! 8-Ball could lose his title without getting into the ring!

Another match on this week's Heat card is a Handicap Match between Iceberg Slim and Hells Henchmen! If you can remember, last week I said that the Hells Henchmen had some problems with Tom Stone. This could very well be Hells Henchmen's LAST match if they dont win! Also, if Hells Henchmen lose, imagine what it could do for Iceberg Slim! This could very well be the match that gets him noticed in the EWA! But, when watching Heat, keep in mind that Don Michaels has nothing scheduled! He could very well be involved in the outcome of this match!

Hey! There are some early rumors floating around that Al Capone's victory over Nick Diamante may push the happy mobster into the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 500 this year! I just figured I'd stick that in there because I found it amusing! Have a good week fans!
