The EWA Spoiler - Edition #29

A One On One Interview With Deuce!
Monday, February 14th, 2000.

The Informer - Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another special edition of The Spoiler. Two weeks ago, we heard the abrasive comments of Zed, which seemed to question not only the direction of the EWA, but also the talents of some of its talent. Specifically, Zed mentioned the EWA World Heavyweight Champion, Deuce, and his colleague in the Three Dimensions of Wrestling, "The Cornerstone" Dino Delsante. Tonight I am joined by the man behind the EWA Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Anderson. Welcome Jeff.

Jeff Anderson - Thanks Informer. I will have you know that what is about to go down is the only sanctioned Out of Character Interview. This isnt Deuce talking this is Jeff Anderson.

The Informer - Okay, Jeff. Lets get started by recapping what Zed had to say about you in his interview. I think that we have a clip of the footage.

[A video of Zeds interviewed is shown.]

The Informer - What did you think about Stone's new Booking Team?? What was your opinion of Deuce and Dino Delsante, as roleplayers and as bookers??

Zed - I was fine with Stone booking things, and I was fine with Nick booking things, but when a no-talent idiot with a Jr. High mentality like Deuce gets power like that, you know theres a problem. Deuce is very unoriginal, unfunny, a mediocre roleplayer, and a jerk OOC. He's everything youngroleplayers should model themselves NOT to be. Back in the old EWA days someone like Deuce would be stuck where his talent led him....in the MID-CARD. But for the talented roleplayers being overlooked so Deuce could be main event material, I thought that was bull. It all goes back to the fact I hated the angle only bit. I didn't think it was fair that crappy roleplayers like Dino and Deuce were the hotshots of the fed when they didn't deserve to be there. Its like taking me when I first joined the EWA, the rookie Zed who was only an average roleplayer, and sticking me with SerialThrylla and Nomad in Hell on Earth PPV extravaganzas. It wouldn't make sense right? So when you got guys like Thorn, The BJ Boys, Cody Covington, and Ayden Caldato sitting in the mid-card, and then the wretchedly awful DEUCE and the no-talent DINO being in the main event...and bookers, you know theres problems. I hated the way things were being run, and it was starting to affect me in a negative way.

The Informer - Seeing this Jeff, how does this make you feel?

Jeff Anderson - Well this is obviously a blatant attack on me. How would you feel if someone came out and made these comments about you? First off I want to make one thing perfectly clear... Jeff Anderson is not considered A BOOKER in the EWA to any extent. I do not write what I think that every person in the EWA should do. I figure out what I want the Bigg Daddy to do, I send my ideas to Nick and Tom and then we work them into whatever else is going on in the EWA. But I am in no way considered a booker.

The Informer - Okay, with that said what was your initial reaction to the interview given by Zed?

Jeff Anderson - My initial reaction was one of anger. I was pissed that Tom would even let something like this be said about someone that was suppose to be his friend. This wasnt the first time that something like this had happened to me. Of course this was the first time that it was the first time that Tom had done something like this out of character.

The Informer - I am assuming that you are referring to the reason that Danger INC. left the EWA.

Jeff Anderson - You hit the nail square on the head. Zed talked about how he never quit the EWA. Well, I only quit once. And the when I quit I talked it out with Nick Diamante and Vince DiNardo and the both of them told me that I had every reason to quit. That was when I went to Nicks DOA Pro.

The Informer - Would you care to tell us just exactly what had happened that made you angry enough to leave the EWA. You were Tag Team Champions at the time. What could make you leave.

Jeff Anderson - Let me break down the situation for everyone that wasnt there. Yes I was the EWA Tag Team Champion and had had a long feud with the Regulators, whom everyone thought were wrestling gods but were nothing more than grunting idiots. I had posted a reply OOC to another OOC comment that was on the interview board. Zed, reared his ugly head and didnt like the comment that I had posted. So in character, Danger INC. challenged Zed to a gauntlet match. At the time Zed was less than midcard where Danger INC had found themselves. So I asked Tom if I could write the match and Tom agreed. Well I will admit that the entire reason for the match was to embarrass Zed, I did it tastefully. My Ending of the match was to have myself comedown to ringside and put Zed into his own finishing maneuver causing him to lose. Well unbeknownst to me Serial Thrylla, Dave Carter who was the Commissioner at the time and on the EWA Creative Team, was writing that nights card. Well Biggie, who is the runner of the Regulators, was at Daves house that night and the two of them decided to extract some revenge on me and Danger INC. They had changed the ending of the match so that the Regulators sneak attacked Danger INC. At the time I had a female manager by the name of Trinidy and the Regulators a manager by the name of Harrison Wigger. Well they decided to write the match where my female manager was raped and everyone else humiliated. I was not very happy.

The Informer - So what you are saying is that you left because you were misused in character.

Jeff Anderson - Thats right. When Deuce was introduced into the EWA I modeled his attitude and what he said after myself. I always modeled my female managers after my long time girlfriend. So when this hideous act was written into the match I took this as a personal blow to me. I was also upset that Tom would allow something like this to happen to, Ill say it again, someone that he thought was a friend. That was the only time that I ever quit the EWA.

The Informer - Zed goes on to say, and I quote Deuce is very unoriginal, unfunny, a mediocre roleplayer, and a jerk OOC. What were you thinking when you heard these comments.

Jeff Anderson - Unoriginal? Christ, how many interviews can you do from a freaking houseshow? Besides that I think of my interviews as something that you would see on Monday Night Raw. I strive for realism in my interviews and if you think that that is unoriginal, then so be it. Unfunny? Everytime I turn around someone is telling me that they laughed their ass off cause of what was said in my interviews. How many Quotes of the Week have you read where they were said by Deuce? How many times were each quote funny as hell? I dont see Zeds name up there too often.

The Informer - What about the comment about being a jerk OOC?

Jeff Anderson - Well you are sitting here talking to me, am I being a jerk to you?

The Informer - No actually you have been quite mild mannered and pleasant.

Jeff Anderson - Exactly, cause I like you Informer. I was a jerk to Zed for one reason, I hate Zed. Plain and simple.

The Informer - Well then, let me as you what I asked Vito last week. Are you hard to work with?

Jeff Anderson - To a certain extent maybe? But like Vito said, I too am a perfectionist. I strive to be the best.

The Informer - Well, lets get into something else Zed made comment about. He said that you were a Mediocre Roleplayer what response do you have for that.

Jeff Anderson - Well, I dont know how many people know this.. but when I do my interviews, I do them from work. Also, I would like to think of myself as an OG in this game. I may not be the first person to ever play but I am 21 and I have been doing this for around 3 years. And I have moved out of my mothers house and dont have a computer to interview everyday like before.

The Informer - Your past with Dino has been well documented. Dino, was telling us of a time that you two had a personal war of words like what is going on between you and Dino and Zed. Here is what Dino had to say....

[Another video is shown this time of The Cornerstone Dino Delsante.]

Dino Delsante - It was before the DOA Pro closed. I was the North American Champion and had worked out an angle where Tracey was kidnapped by the kWo and Deuce. The ransom was a title shot for Tracey in Pittsburgh, PA. I had said to Nick that I would job the belt, but the issue was who Iwould job to. The popular consensus was to job to Deuce...it was one of the biggest rivalries, me and Deuce, the kWo and the MVP...it was a huge match. Words were being said back and forth and just as it reached its pinnacle, Nick closed down the DOA Pro. We all got the invitation to come tothe EWA. I declined. I had other commitments to take care of outside of wrestling, and I wanted to give them my full attention. But Deuce and I didn't stop. We just kept slinging arrows at each other. After a while, I just started to ignore him and move on. Then I got bored. I had the itch again. I applied to the EWA under a different identity, was accepted and then waited for the reopening. When the EWA reopened, I looked at the roster. There was Deuces name. I knew that I had to work with him eventually, and had someone slip that it was Dino under the Sir Psycho Sexy mask. We started talking and soon after, we started discussing tagging up together. I also had a similar discussion with Nick. Nick's new website was the last straw for my forced retirement. Nick brought me back, and I discussed tagging with him as well. Soon, the three of us started talking about being a stable...and that's how the 3D was born. I hope that proves that in this business, anything is possible if you are willing to work with people.

Jeff Anderson - I remember the situation with the kidnapping and the North American title. But to tell you the truth I dont remember Dino and I slinging the OOC arrows. Im not calling Dino a liar by any means. I also remember the day that he had decided to pursue his comic book writing. And as far as I remember it, I swear I wished him luck. I remember there being discussion of him jobbing his title but I dont remember what exactly was said. Ive slept since then. And as far as working together, how do you think that we made he and deuces feud the most memorable? We worked together back then just against each other. And just like Vito said, when he came to the EWA as SPS he knew we would be working together and we started talking about tagging together and it would up that we would form 3D. It was destined to happen and I for one am glad that it did.

The Informer - To end up my interview with Zed I told him to tell me what he thought about a person in one word... here is what he had to say about you and Vito.

[The video plays once again.]

The Informer - Deuce...

Zed - Just one? Asshole, faggot, jagoff, loser, cock, smelly, ugly, idiot, etc...

The Informer - Dino Delsante...

Zed - Not-Talented

Jeff Anderson - Isnt Not Talented two words?

The Informer - Haha! Yes I believe it is, but what stirs inside you when you see this footage again.

Jeff Anderson - Well I think about what Zed had to say about me let me see if I can get this quote right... I think he said... no-talent idiot with a Jr. High mentality like Deuce. Am I correct?

The Informer - Yes sir.

Jeff Anderson - Thats funny, cause those eight words were very popular when I was IN junior high. And he talks about my mentality. Why would you call someone a faggot when you know damn well he has been with the same girl for over two and half years. Then he sinks as low as to call me smelly & ugly? If he would have went on I swear he would have said that I have cooties!!! Christ the kid doesnt even have the balls to call me by my real name, and hes never seen me... but Im ugly according to him. But I agree with the smelly part, Tommy Cologne smells reeaaal good.

The Informer - Well, Zed has returned to the EWA. How do you feel about that?

Jeff Anderson - I dont care really. But for the benefit of the EWA if I have to work with him I will treat him as I have treated everyone else that I work with in the EWA. I dont know who knows this but Zed and I buried the hatchet. I wouldnt say that we are friends and I wouldnt say that we like each other, but there isnt the OOC back stabbing and all the bullshit that there was before. So, if Tom wants him in the EWA so be it.

The Informer - What does the future hold for the EWA and Deuce?

Jeff Anderson - Informer, I have said it once... and I will say it again. The past is history and the future is a mystery.

The Informer - Thank you Jeff for sitting down and taking the time to let the entire world know what you are thinking. I enjoyed interviewing you.

Jeff Anderson - The pleasure was all mine.

Thanks For Reading,
The Informer.
