The EWA Spoiler - Edition #22

"Is There A Plan In The Works Between Deuce & Diamante??"
Saturday, November 6th, 1999.

The Next New Combo Known World Wide?
Is There A Plan In The Works Between Deuce & Diamante?? - It's been possibly the most asked question in the EWA lockerrooms since "when is Serial Thrylla coming back?" Everyone seems to want to know if Bigg Daddy Deuce and "The Diamond Stud" Nick Diamante are in cahoots, and I don't blame anyone! Let's take a trip back in time, shall we? About 1 year ago at this time, Bigg Daddy Deuce was a full-fledged member of ReVoLuTiOn~X. Everyone knows that RX was the tightest group in wrestling's long history, so if Deuce was in RX, you KNOW that Nick Diamante and Deuce had to be good enough friends to work together. Next, Nick went on to run the Dead or Alive Pro Wrestling Organization, and Deuce started off as one of his number 1 stars. This means Nick and Deuce must have been involved in a lot of things together, from angle developments to merchandising. How can 2 men go from loving each other to despising each other in such a short amount of time? Sure, Deuce does blame Nick for costing him the EWA Heavyweight title, so either Deuce is obsessed with the EWA title, or he's got something up his sleeve. If you ask me, I think these guys are using all the hype to their advantage. I doubt they are working as a unit, but I think all this controversy will bring them together. If they really were in cahoots right now, don't you think "The Diamond Stud" would have screwed Zed out of the title in Deuce favor at HH2? I think so! So fans, I say keep your eyes open. Deuce and Diamante probably have no links right now, but I wouldn't put it past them to throw any hatred aside to become friends again!

Sir Psycho Sexy: International Superstar Turned American Hero? - As we found out in the past weeks, Sir Psycho Sexy is known mostly in Japan as a hero. He won tournaments, fought bloody and gut wrenching matches, and beat everyone! He came over the boarded because he had accomplished everything in Japan... There wasn't one guy who could beat him! He debuted in the EWA, and started off with a strong 3-0 Win/Loss Record! He's trying to prove that he is the best wrestler not only in Japan, but anywhere in the world! After only 3 matches, this guy has gained one of the strongest followings in the EWA! His matches are fought amazingly with all his heart. This guy is going to be one of the top stars in the EWA in the future! But what I'd like to see, is the guy who gives Sir Psycho Sexy his first loss... If he ever loses!

DMX's Day Comes... - Since the return of the EWA, DMX has been obviously not into it... Him wrestling is becoming more of a pain then ever! He's losing matches, and very rarely coming out for interviews and to cut promos. On Monday, November 1st... DMX and Tom Stone came to an agreement of respect. Tom Stone gave DMX his wish, and let DMX go. Yes, it's true. The legendary DMX has retired. Although he didn't make it a national thing and come out to announce it, he does want his fans to know. DMX was one of the EWA's most faithful wrestlers, and has been here for a LONG time. Through thick and thin, he stayed with the company and gave it his all. DMX, thanks for the memories... You will be missed!

Divine Reaches The Peak Of Sexual EWA Frustration... - On Wednesday, October 27th, Divine and EWA Commissioner Eric Fleek got into an argument. The two had apparently got into an argument about Divine acting like Nick Diamante, saying false and hurtful words. Divine gave Tom Stone his notice, and didn't want to be apart of the company if Fleek was. Divine was the North American Champion at the time, but lost it in his last match against Chris Slates. We wish Divine luck in his future endeavors.

Da BJ Boyz Make EWA History! - Earlier this week, Da BJ Boyz made EWA History by passing X~Pac's Title Reign of 94 Days. They were very excited upon receiving the news. My prediction is that they will surpass this mark by a HUGE margin. What I'm saying is that Da BJ Boyz will have these titles for a LONG time to come! With a Tag Team Division that the EWA has, it shouldn't be much of a challenge for them!

Can We Trust The Fleeker?? - Why Fleek?? Of all the men Tom Stone could have chosen to be the EWA's commissioner, why Eric Fleek? Fleek was the man in charge of Bad Company's career behind the scenes, so you know that Fleek probably has bitter feeling towards a lot of the EWA's top wrestlers. To me, it just doesn't make any sense to have a former wrestler's manager as a wrestling organization's commissioner. I smell something fishy here, but I don't know who can be suspected. At the moment, Fleek is doing a good job. He's made a few announcements and laid down the law accordingly. The question that must be asked is "If Eric Fleek has a hidden agenda, just what is it?" Could he be trying to bring back T-N-T and give him an advantage over everyone by helping him gain big matches with minimal effort? Eric Fleek is a confusing individual, so never count any possibilities out with him. Keep in mind... Fleek used to work with Diamante in ReVoLuTiOn~X too...

Championship Committee Reconsiders Deuce As #1 Contender - The Championship match at Hellacious Halloween 2 was surrounded by controversy, to say the least. "The Diamond Stud's" hair ended up playing a HUGE roll in the outcome of the match! I find this humorous, but Bigg Daddy Deuce sure as hell doesn't! Deuce has been going around throwing rules and stipulations at us since he lost to Zed, and it's obvious that his words have been heard by the EWA's Championship committee because rumor has it that Deuce will be the number 1 contender to Zed's belt at Rage In A Cage 2! I find this to be great news because the fans really deserve to know who is the better man, Zed or Deuce! And if this announcement becomes official, we should be able to find out the answer to this question because both men will be fighting in a cage! But like I said fans. this is purely speculation right now. If it becomes official, I'm sure you'll hear about it before I release the next EWA Spoiler!

The Hustler Goes Full-Fledged EXTREME! - At Hellacious Halloween 2: The Dark Secret, The Hustler won the EWA Extreme Title, thus topping off his collection of Extreme Titles! This, along with 3 other Extreme Titles (FWF Hardcore Champion, D.O.A.-PRO Hardcore Champion & XCWF Hardcore Champion) proves that The Hustler is the best at what he does. He beat DMX, which ended up being his last match. The Hustler is not only an Extreme wrestler, but has many other titles in the Tag Team and Single Divisions! The Hustler is an all around full package! His future in the EWA is shaping up to be a good one.

One Small Step For Zed.... One Giant Leap For Zed's BankBook! - It was October 31st... Hellacious Halloween 2: The Dark Secret... The sweat was pouring, and adrenaline was pumping! It was this night when Zed achieved his dream by defeating Deuce to become the EWA Heavyweight Champion! Throughout the night, there were 3 Qualifying matches to determine who goes on to the Heavyweight Title Match... Deuce and Zed were the 2, and gave it there all. In this match we saw the return of Nick Diamante in the EWA, and he became an important factor in this match! With this win, Zed breaks EWA History by becoming 4 of 5 Champions! The only one he hasn't had, are the Tag Team Titles! After jobbing matches and being treated like nothing more then shit, Zed finally got his opportunity, and used it wisely!

Covington Makes It Crystal Clear That He's The Man On Top! - October 31st was not only a good day for Zed, The Hustler and Da BJ Boyz... but also a great night for Cody Covington! After only 3 matches in the EWA, he has gained EWA gold. He beat Thorn for the International Title, which not only made Thorn an ex-champ, but also knocked him out of his Heavyweight Title Opportunity! Cody wasn't just busy in his match... He got a piece of Damian Starshot in his match with Zed, which ended up giving Zed the win! On Tuesday, when Cody was asked who would be next on his list, he told us to stay tuned, and we'd find out later on... Well, we did! Covington beat the hell out of Starshot in his locker room! This should be a very interesting feud if you ask me... Both are young, up and coming athletes in the EWA, and both want to make it big!

Chirs Slates... An Undeserving Champion? - Chris Slates beat Divine at Hellacious Halloween 2 for the North American Title... But, did he deserve it? You read earlier on that Divine gave Stone notice that his match with Slates would be his last! So, did Stone just give Slates the title to take it from Divine, or did he do it because he is deserving?? If you think he's deserving, slap yourself in the head and never think that thought again! Here's a fact for you... Slates is so air-headed, that he takes the longest to cut, edit, and rehearse promos in EWA History. He misses words, forgets lines, and adds his own whenever he pleases. This guy is NOT deserving!

Is Thorn Gone For Good? - Tuesday Night Heat on November 2nd was the mark of Thorn's last interview known to date. His interview is what some call a farewell speech. He talked about the status of Hostile Youth 2K, and made it clear that he needs a break from the EWA, and wrestling in general. We've seen this happen before with such athletes as Serial Thrylla, Chandler, DMX, etc... and where are those people now?? Not here! So is Thorn just taking a break, or has he hung up the boots for good?

Will We EVER See Vince Black Again?? - Backstage is shaking with rumors that Vince Black is back with the EWA, or is close to signing a deal! What I've heard, is that Vince Black has signed a 3-year deal to work backstage with the bookers and with Tom Stone. When Stone was asked about this rumor, he shook it off rather easily and said "I don't know what you're talking about".... Is Vince Black in the EWA??? If not yet, Will he ever be back?? More on this later...

Does "The Cornerstone" Have A Hidden Agenda? - Dino Delsante came to the EWA in October strictly as a color commentator, and NOT a wrestler. He's been around this business for a LONG time, and has been in such organizations as XCWF, UWF, and most recently the DOA Pro. What I find strange is that he has won titles and succeeded in all these federations, and then comes to the EWA strictly as a commentator?? Is Dino working for someone else, somewhere else?? Or is he actually serious about wanting to be strictly a commentator??

Thanks For Reading,
The Informer.
