The EWA Spoiler - Edition #19

"Happy Birthday, To The Finest!!"
Wednesday July 14th, 1999.

Happy Birthday, You Sexy Bitch... BOO YEAH!!
Intro... - Well, Basically... Get ready for the longest Spoiler you'll ever see. I'll be going through EVERY month in the EWA's history to celebrate its birthday... (Keep in mind that I wrote this from 1AM - 4AM...) And for once, this is me Tom Stone OUT OF CHARACTER writing this... It includes a lot of backstage material. Therfore, if I used your name without permission, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK.

It All Starts... - It was a BORING and HOT July day in Toronto, Ontario, Canada... Tom Stone called up his buddy Vince Di Nardo (aka Vince Black) and asked him if he was interesting in starting a e-fed!! Vince said sure, and asked the basics. What's the name, how many shows, how are the results done, etc... After everything was planned out, Vince went to Tom's house and they opened the EWA. They quickly opened their email, and kept pushing "Check Mail". After about 6 hours of trying, the men FINALLY got an application!! It was The Rock!! Both men were excited and quickly added him to EVERY page feature possible!! After calling Nick and telling him that they got their first member, another 5 applications arrived!! It was Macho Man, Lex Luger, Sting, Kevin Nash & Konnan: The Wolfpac!! Both Tom and Vince knew that they had something good going, because without advertising anywhere, they got 6 applications in a matter of half an hour. After adding him to every feature possible, they went offline to celebrate!!

The First Month, July. - The EWA left itself 2 weeks for people to join without having cards. The 2 men did everything imaginable to the page, not knowing what was coming. The wrestlers were happy, and everything was going smooth. The men then planned ahead the next 4 or 5 Pay Per Views, and Tom was so anxious that he made the PPV logo's and pictures MONTHS before.

August 98... - The first card came quick, and both men got together to do a card. They wrote up entire matches in text documents, which must have took 45 minutes to write EACH. After posting the first card, things got worse between the 2. Vince would usually stay home and they'd do the card over the phone. After 2 weeks, Vince wouldn't be home when it came to doing the cards, and Tom started to get frustrated. Tom then took it upon himself to go and advertise on EVERY Roleplay Board he could reach. It was all returned by getting advertised back on, and soon enough the EWA didn't have a roster. Tom called Vince, and they had an arguement over the EWA about who does more work, etc. Vince couldn't help it... He had (and still has) a shit computer, and a limited HTML knowledge. Some people call Tom a HTML Professional, so it's pretty hard to top his stuff. Things got better between the 2, and Extreme & Uncensored '98 came. It was the first pay per view for the EWA, and both men were excited. Meanwhile nextdoor at Nick's house, Nick DETESTED E-Feds and everytime Vince and Tom would speak about the EWA, he'd often get pissed!! Vince then joined a different efed, and literally won every title imagineable.

September 98... - Now that there were cards and pay per views to write, page work caught up to Tom. He had his #1 email at Homtmail, so it would be a pain in the ass to get ahold of matches or applications, especially when the Hotmail server goes out for hours. Tom started cutting some page details, and wrestler's were getting pissed. Often there would be late cards or sometimes no cards without notice. The time came when Vince figured that Tom didn't need help, since Tom told Vince previously that Vince could do nothing to help the fed out. It came time for Tuesday Night Heat... Tom called Vince, and Vince picked up. Tom asked why Vince didn't call to do the results, and the 2 men had a fought, that brought the EWA to a halt. Tom shut down the EWA and both men didn't talk for weeks. 6 hours after Tom shut down the EWA, he thought... "Wouldn't it kick ass if I got this fed going again without Vince's help, and I made it 100 times better than it was???"... So, The EWA came back!! Tom used his server's email program, so he could get to his email alot easier without hassal, and made the cards simulated to make it easier for himself. The EWA started going strong, again.

October 98... - Early in the month, Vince and Tom patched things up and they both came to the conclusion that Vince being a wrestler was the best thing to do. Vince made D~X, and gave the fed something to feud against. Tom brought in his Corperate Team, and the EWA was standing tall again!! Rage In A Cage was re-scheduled to October 4th, 1998. Tom started the fed over again by having the first of 4 Glass Matches between TNT and Nomad. People like Nomad, The Reuglators, TNT, Cromwell, Serial Thrylla, The Rock and The Tongan led the EWA. At Rage In A Cage, Team DX took on Team Ballz in probablty the most important match in EWA history. It marked the begining of Team Ballz, and the begining of D~X's era!! Tom Stone then scheduled a special card called Weekend Warefare. On that card, most of the title's were given out!! The Canadian Title remained Vacant, Serial Thrylla vs. The Rock was the result of the Heavyweight Title tournament. Chandler took the Lightweight strap, Cromwell took the OFC Title, and Nomad vs. Vietnam Sam was scheduled for the Pay Per View!! Nomad took the International Title, and Vietnam Sam took the Extreme Title. The tag team title's belonged to the New Age Outlaws, and Serial Thrylla took the Heavyweight Title. Then the EWA hit a bump in the road.... One day, all the boys from Manchvegas packed it in, and left. These guys formed the EWA!! They were: Serial Thrylla, Nomad, Death Row, Vietnam Sam, The Regulators, DMX (A man of MANY gimmicks), The Tongan, and La Parka. This loss DEVESTATED the EWA roster.

November 98... - The month of November brought the EWA its most memorable stable, Revolution~X!! Tom and Vince got Nick into E-Wrestling, and Nick changed E-Wrestling forever. They started out small, and eventually made it big time!! The EWA was running smooth, and by this time, all the Manchvegas Boys joined back to their home, The EWA. The EWA was the first fed that ANY of these guys were in... The EWA needed Manchvegas, and Manchvegas needed the EWA... This wasn't relaized until around March '99.... R~X got bigger, and took over the EWA. It was everyone's nightmare!! Nick would do hilarious, yet REALISTIC attacks on people making them look like shit!! Everyone was pissed, and everyone worked hard at trying to beat this force.

December 98... - December... A month that I'll never forget!! Me/Thrylla/Chandler came up with this angle that was supposed to be such a sucess... Chandler would win the title at The Killer Clause, and Thrylla would have a feud with him... BUT, Chandler didn't roleplay for days.... 2 weeks before the PPV was the last time he roleplayed, and I was PISSED!! I made Chandler JOB, and after the PPV, Chandler came online. It was the birth of what people call "Canadian Rage". I snapped on him, and called him every name in the book!! I threatened to fire him, and basically made him feel like a piece of shit. But Chandler didn't quit... No, he stayed in the EWA and tried harder then ever!! I realized that he isn't an ordinary Wrestling Mark... He knew that quitting and harassing the EWA would get him nowhere, so he fought back through winning the EWA Heavyweight Title. Also at the December Pay Per View, Razor Ramon and Revolution~X droped a bombshell on The Wolfpac thus retiring them from the EWA for good. Everyone had a good laugh, and knew that Nick wasn't a 10 year old moron who could ramble on in a roleplay, he could think up hilarious yet amazing angles that you'd never beleive.

January 99... - January was a new year for the EWA, and it certainly was a new begining. Chandler worked his ass off to get a title shot on a weekly Tuesday Night Heat, which was one of the biggest... The memorable Death Row/Vietnam Sam feud began, and things in the EWA heated up. Tom Stone was no longer a moron, he could now think up angles and gimmicks for wrestlers better then ever before... The EWA was obviously getting alot better, and started to be watched. Chandler lost his title match, which ended up being the most important in his e-wrestling career... Serial Thrylla thought he shouldn't be the champ, because he never did beat Chandler fairly... Serial Thrylla dropped the Heavyweight Title which was decided at the January PPV: Balls Of Stone. Nick continued to harass and destory wrestles by the dozen. The EWA was now a fun place to be, and Balls Of Stone made it better... The Masked Dick captured the EWA Heavyweight Title, who ended up being The Tongan. And although Tongan rarely roleplayed, I have to say... He was one of my most favourite champs. Behind the scenes on AOL, The Tongan could always find a way to make me laugh so hard that I could forget about him not roleplaying. Tongan is a good guy, he's just lazy!!!

February 99... - What a month for the EWA... This PPV was planned out since November, and the angles were all unfolding. At the PPV, in the Team Ballz Initation Match, La Parka won making him the 4th member of Team Ballz!! This guy's rolelpays were hilarious!! They made no sence and they'd be "REALLY REALLY FAST!!!!!"... Haahhahah, I love that guy.... ANYWAYS, Death Row held on to his Extreme Title by beating 3 other guys, The Anvil lost his first match to the EWA International Champion at the time, Bradshaw. The RX Pimp~Sane Wreckin' Crew won the Tag Team Title's, and it was their dream come true.... Then the worst thing you could imagine happened.... In a Stable Match (Guest Ref: Shawn Michaels) between Team Revolution~X (Razor Ramon, X~Pac, Sycho Sid, The Godfather, James Hawk Bradshaw, TNT & Damian) and D~Generation~X (Triple H, Mankind, Kevin Nash, The Anvil, The Road~Dogg Jesse Jammes, Badd~Ass Billy Gunn, Siko Shuyama & "Big D" Cal Davis), DX and RX joined, making them an UNSTOPABLE force!!! The EWA was shocked, and it brought the entire EWA together to fight off this gigantic machine.

March 99... - The March PPV was the most memorable to me... It was the last Pay Per View that Revolution~X was in, and Team Ballz 2K fought them off and beat them by PINNING Razor Ramon thus breaking his PERFECT 23-0 record. Nomad won the EWA Heavyweight Title in a Battle Royal... He eliminated "Ozone" Kilboy to capture him the gold... This sent "Ozone" out of the EWA. *Freaky Music Starts...* He never was seen again... Then, on Tuesday March 16th 1999, 8 Days before Nick's Birthday, Tom Stone announced that he had slipped a clause into the match at the Pay Per View which means that Revolution~X was DUST!!! Nick worked behind the scenes for the EWA... He helped out with page work, results, and the Spoiler... Meanwhile on the same Heat episode, Tom Stone signed 2 matches... an International Title Match between Damian and TNT, which TNT won... and a Tag Team Title Match between The Anti-Corperate Outlaws and Imminent Danger. Danger Inc picked up the victory. The EWA had started all over again, and needed leaders.

April 99... - The Manchvegas Boys helped out Stone again, and steped forward. Chandler has returned to renew the 3 way feud between Nomad, Serial Thrylla and Chandler. The EWA started getting some good mid-card wrestlers who were eventually pushed up. Nick got bored, and started the DOA Pro!! Nick was let go of his EWA duties, and was left to concentrate on his own E-Fed!! At NC 17 "Pure Violence", during the main event Hell On Earth Match (another classic), the strange new time keeper steped up to the cell after it had been lowered, to give Nomad his title. The man ripped off his mask to reveal The Bottom Line, TBL!! TBL had joined the EWA, and immidiatly attacked Thrylla, Nomad and Chandler. TBL was seen to EWA fans and wrestlers as The Big Shot... The Man... The Guy You Don't Fuck With!! Instead, TBL was just trying to be a normal roleplayer without wanting to be the best. This misunderstanding led to a GIGANTIC arguement in May/June, which ended up to be "the night that I found out everything". People had joined his fed, and done angles where they'd kick my ass and leave me in a pool of blood... But after that chat that night, things changed.... people changed. The EWA now was at a higher point that usual, but still needed something.

May 99... - Shreveport Showdown, there were 5 title matches... North American Title Match: Zed vs. Sonny Fletcher vs. The Ultimate Warrior... Winner was The Ultimate Warrior. Extreme Title Match: Wardog vs. The Wildman vs. Thorn... Winner: Thorn. Tag Team Title Match: The Regulators vs. The Gemini... Winners: The Regulators. International Title Match: The Brink vs. Thorn.... Winner: No Contest... The Commisioner then scheduled ANOTHER Extreme Title Match... Once again, Wardog vs. The Wildman vs. Thorn... The winner this time: The Wildman. Then it was the big show... the main event... the headliner.... The Heavyweight Title Match: Chandler vs. TNT with a special guest ref, Tom Stone!! Well, the guest ref ended up being TBL under a mask, and TBL rang the bell after Chandler hit the Big Timer. TBL took the belt, and claimed himself as the champ!! The EWA had been better than ever, until 1 dreadful week... It was from May 21st until May 30th when I went to New York for family reasons. When I returned, NO ONE roleplayed, NO ONE gave a damn... So I figured, if nobody can handle breaks, then why have them??? Not to self: Good point Tom...

June 99... - Last month... Hmmm, the Old Skool vs. New School feud began at Global Threat. Most New Schoolers made names for themselves at this PPV, and only 3 Old Skool wrestlers were at the PPV, and all of them were in the final match. It was Chandler & The Brink vs. Nomad & The Wildman. Chandler/Brink/Nomad turned on The Wildman and beat him into hell. All the Old Skoolers and New Schoolers came out to defend their teamates. Great wrestlers with potential steped up and got into it. Wrestlers like The Wildman, Thorn, The Brink, Zed, Divine, The Ultimate Warrior and more finally realized that they need to step up in the EWA and kick some ass!! So, they showed up in this main event and caused shit!! Serial Thrylla went alone, picking neither team... Chandler/Brink/Mike Extreme/Tom Stone went Old Skool... Thorn/Nomad when HY2K, and the rest were New School!! The EWA got back up from its put down at the end of May, and did it with style!

Today, July 14th, 1999... - As I look at the EWA now, and who we have... I'm neither happy or pissed. We have the wrestlers, but not all of them stayed in the EWA... That pisses me off. We have other wrestlers who finally stepped up, and are now kicking ass... that makes me happy. So, if you ask me, The EWA gets better with everyday that goes by... And if you don't think that this place kicks ass, then get the fuck out, cause you must be blind.

The Future!! - I plan to keep this place open for a lot longer. The EWA isn't a 1 or 2 year thing... But on the other hand, how long will it take before this gets boring, or how long will it take before E-Wrestling doesn't exsist?? Well, I don't give a damn. Once the time comes, I won't close it suddenly. I'll work it up, and let you all know. You guys don't realize it, but you made the EWA, and the EWA made you. Guys like Thrylla, Nomad, Chandler, Regulators, DMX, Death Row, etc... You were made here, and I don't care if you want to leave... And thats the honest truth. Just don't go out punking me off somewhere else so you can get bigger... If you're some new guy who joined within the last month, you wouldn't know.... But ask Thrylla, ask Brink, ask Nick... This place is all I live for. And without some people, this place wouldn't exsist. So, from me... from Tom Stone, No fuck that. From Tom Albanese, yeah... my real name (which only Biggie, Nick and Vince knew)... From Tom Albanese, thank you Scott.... Without you there would be no Thrylla, no Nomad, no DMX, no Regulators, no EWA.... thank you Dave Carter, or Serial Thrylla, for all the backstage shit and all the help you give me... thank you Chandler, for more backstage help... thank's to Brink and Thorn, for alot of recent help... thanks to Nomad, The Regulators, Death Row, Vietnam Sam, La Ardilla, Mike Extreme, The Tongan, and anyone else I may have missed for all the memories that I'll NEVER EVER forget... and lastly, thanks to Nick Diamante and Vince Di Nardo, for all the help and support they give me. Without ANY of you, there would be no EWA, and without the EWA, E-Wrestling would SUCK ASS. So, keep up all the roleplaying, keep up the good angles and feuds, and keep the EWA going, because without you guys, I couldn't run this thing. Thanks for reading this, and if you skipped any of it I think you suck, because to understand the future, you gotta know the past. Thanks again,

The EWA Owner,
Tom Albanese.
