Tradition: The Rising Of Younger Wrestlers - The way I see it, Global Threat was an opening for the Young EWA Wrestlers. People like Zed, Draven, Divine, Thorn, BlackOut, DeRaNgEd and The Wildman worked as a team to fight off the vetrans of the EWA... I just hope they take that night and base their careers on it because this is the break that everyone wants and dreams of... Imagine this match: Zed vs. Chandler vs. Serial Thrylla vs. Thorn for the EWA Heavyweight Title... Matches like those would open the careers of these younger stars and if they continue to work together, they could overtake the EWA!! I beleive it and could see it happen easily... The decisions that these younger athletes make in the next couple months could change their careers forever... Lets just hope they make the right choices!!!
Next EWA Heavyweight Champion: The Brink?? - The battle of old versus new wages on in the Extreme Wrestling Association. Many of the EWA's wrestling are calling for a changing of the guard. This begs the question; Who should assume the reigns as rightful owner of the EWA's holy grail? To the surprise of many EWA veterans, the future of the EWA World title may rest on the shoulders of a former Canadian and International champion, The Brink. The EWA hasn't had a new young impact player come on the seen since Chandler back last September. However, with the emergence of The Brink, this has all changed. While his EWA debut back last December was a relative failure, round two for The Brink has proved much kinder. After his return in March, he quickly defeated household name TNT, capturing his EWA International title. Since then, The Brink has been on fire. Countless victims have taken the plunge. During his 66 day title reign, The Brink made himself into a household name. Now he has developed the status to accompany the talent. He's a perfect candidate. The Brink does have some have tendencies that he must erase to become a true championship contender. This guy has all the talent in the world, yet he still insists on challenging every jabronie that ever mentions his name. He needs to avoid feuds that are going no where. The Brink isn't in the busch leagues anymore. He's playing with the big boys in high stakes competition. The Brink must also stop obsessing about his win/loss record. Past accomplishments mean nothing. You are only as good as your last match. Occassionally in this industry, your bound to do a JOB or two. The EWA's future cannot allow this to discourage him. 95% persistency and consistency, and 5% talent are what you need to be a champion in this sport. Hard work pays off. The addition of another main event talent to the EWA is imperative for its future growth. While it has been reported this man doubts his talents, I FIRMLY believe the Extreme Wrestling Association is safe resting comfortably around The Brink's waist.
The Tag Teams Rise From Hibernation!!! - The EWA now has 7 Tag Teams on its Roster, when 1 week ago it was at 2. Where did these guys come from?? Who knows, who cares?? All that matters is that they are in the EWA and the Tag Team Title Tournament has started. Top teams like Da B.J. Boyz, Zed & Draven and The Dungeon Masters are sure to impress us in this tournament... My Predicition is that those 3 teams will all be in the semi finals, and should carry the EWA's Tag Team Division!
New EWA Promoter?? - The locker room area has been flooded with rumors, but the biggest and most surprising to me is that the EWA has a New Promoter!!! You may be thinking, "What's so big about a promoter???"... Well the shock isn't that the EWA has a New Promoter... The shock is who the Promoter is!!! And if I go by the rumors, the Promoter is none other than Former Lightweight and Heavyweight Champion CHANDLER!! If Chandler IS the Promoter... Why did Tom Stone hire a 17 year old to be a Promoter for a Company as BIG and Popular as the EWA?? Well maybe Stone hired him for the same reason he hired Serial Thrylla... Stone know's both of these men have been around for a while and they've both been Heavyweight Champions, so maybe he is using expirience to make the EWA better... This man is a GENIOUS!
My Global Threat Reaction... - Global Threat was a great PPV, and with the way it ended, im pretty sure that the Next PPV will be a BETTER one!!! Did you miss the PPV?? Here's what happened... Chandler and The Wildman are in the ring, both men are out... Chandler gets up first and goes for a leg drop but Wildman moves and tags in Nomad... Wildman was playing possom and Nomad gets pissed at him, therfore he plants him in the mat with a DDT! Chandler, Nomad, and The Brink hold there hands up high in the air while yelling out "Tradition"... The beat on The Wildman while Zed, Thorn, DeRaNgEd, Divine, Draven and BlackOut come out for the save. Mike Extreme comes out to join Team Oldskool, while The Brink and Thorn beat the hell out of each other. Tom Stone enters the ring to "sort things out" but instead joins Team Oldskool. After a long brawl, Serial Thrylla comes down from the ceiling and nails BlackOut with a hockey stick, Divine charges at Thrylla and gets laid on his ass. Mike Extreme then celebrates with Thrylla, and gets a hockey stick in the mouth for it... The Wildman, Thorn and DeRaNgEd charge at Thrylla and they get salt in the eyes for their efforts... Serial Thrylla shakes Zed's hand, then gives him a knee to the nuts. Serial Thrylla then attacks Tom Stone with the hockey stick. Nomad, Chandler and The Brink are left... Thrylla shoots a fire ball at Nomad and knocks him out as the PPV ends with Serial Thrylla staring at Chandler and The Brink... Thats intence shit!! Serial Thrylla has gone nuts, the EWA consists of Team Oldskool and Team New School... I'd like to see what goes on in the next few weeks in the EWA!!
The New Title's Are.... - The Poll results show that most people want The Iron Man Title, The Lightweight Title or We Have Enough Titles... The Lightweight Title will be returning for sure, and possibly the Iron Man Title... After the Lightweight Title returns, Tom Stone wants to see what the title demand is like... Wrestlers today don't care about angles unless a title is involved, and that is a damn shame...
Soon To Come: - The list of things that Tom Stone is planning to add to The EWA's Main Page is HUGE... Most of these additions will go up in early July, which is 1 week away!! Here's the list: Wrestlers Entrance Themes (Downloadable), Hall Of Fame, The EWA's own Mail Server (Sign Up Your Own EWA Email Address), New Titles, and MORE!!! This summer is going to be a big one, you better not miss out on it!!!
