Background Info: Jerome Davis, better known as Misled Youth was born on February 2, 1980 in New York City, New York. Misled Youth grew up in a dark and unhappy home in his childhood. His father was almost always drunk and was a full-time drug dealer putting his family at great risk. His mother was almost always at home during his first decade but started slipping away from the family and turned from a housewife to a prostitute. After a few years, his father died from drug and alcohol abuse, leaving him, his mother, and his brother. Misled Youth, real name Jerome Davis started taking after his dad. He started doing drugs and drinking. Not as heavily as his dad, but still. His mother used to care about Jerome and influence of drugs and alcohol, but now she would sit at the dinner table eating dinner, talking on the phone, while Jerome would smoke weed and drink beer and whiskey. His brother was a loner just like Jerome but never touched drugs or alcohol. A couple years after Jerome's father died, Jerome's brother, Matt, ran away from home and was never seen again. Jerome's mother was a complete wreck and was raped and killed leaving Jerome all by himself. Jerome, age 17 at this time, decided to travel the United States. He traveled from his hometown of New York down to Alabama. He enjoyed the less populated areas and lived there for a year.
During that year, he made a friend who wrestled. He started training with his friend and about 4 monthes later, he decided he wanted to do this for life. He loved it. He took all his anger from his fucked up childhood and used in on the independent wrestling scene in crazy hardcore matches. He almost got the tag team titles with a wrestler who he saved from a beating three weeks earlier, but during the match, Jerome was set to leap off a low building's roof and put his opponent through a table covered in tacks and barbwire with a moonsault. As Jerome turned around, his opponent didn't follow the match spots and got up off the table and threw Jerome's partner onto the table just as Jerome lept off. Jerome nailed his partner and put him through the table and was injured. Jerome's partner, Daniel Venturer broke his arm, bruised a few ribs while breaking two, and worst of all, his spine was split, and he was immedieately paralyzed. He spent several monthes in the hospital and in rehabitation. Once this injury happened, Jerome stopped wrestling. He spent time with his partner, visiting him and helping him through life. Jerome and Daniel's opponent, the one who messed the match up, was fined big time and is spending a four year sentence in prison. It was October of 1999 when Misled Youth started watching wrestling again. He didn't participate but watched it. By this time, he had his own apartment and he watched the national television station, the NHBWF network. He immediately was stuck to it. He watched it whenever he was home from work and not busy with other things. He watched all the stars from Zach Summers, to Brian Nash, Lorenzo Hayes, Papi Chulo, the Sandman, and Ron Van Clam.
Two monthes later, he attended a NHBWF house show in his hometown. After the event, he got to meet a few stars, one which was the Sandman. He became a very high fan of Sandman because of his extreme attitude and style. He also adored the high fliers of the federation. About a month of training went underway for Jerome, and a representative from a fed, called MCW was impressed with his style and work ethic. He talked to him in seveal meetings and try-outs, and Jerome said that the MCW needs a person like him. Although, he wanted to work for the NHBWF, he knew he nedded to help the MCW grow, so he signed with the new MCW and continued to train up until this day.
He is still friends with stars from the NHBWF and he thought up a neat idea that the Sandman and dark Side thought was good. In the NHBWF, Egos Incorporated, a stable was created in late January, early February. Misled Youth's idea was to join the group and make it an inter-fed stable by representing Egos Incorporated in the MCW, while Sandman and dark Side represnted the group in the NHBWF. It turned out well as we saw the debut of Misled Youth in the MCW. A great match it was against Jack the Ripper in which Youth won with his finisher. He went on for four more matches with him losing twice. One match a weapons cage match saw him put on his very best match but losing at the end after eliminating two others. Soon after that the MCW closed but re-opened. Misled Youth went into a depression state hiding from society. The Sandman, his best friend, the same person who trained him, looked out for him while in this mood. He soon recovered and got back into his fighting ways, and as he was set to return to MCW, it closed forever. He was left without a place.
Until now, he has wrestled a few independent dates but never really got big with independent fans. He doesn't care if the crowd cheers or boos him. All he is set to do is to take all his anger and misled ways and use them with matches consiting of high flying hardcore matches. He wants some gold in the aWa along with respect and great matches, and he is very determined to get some however he can. And please note, he is loaded with drugs and weapons...
