Career Outline: The Brink started his career as "Tru Soldier" Nate Reid, in the Extreme Wrestling Federation back in THE day. He worked a few jobber matches, and in the fed, he was basically a nobody. He remained a nobody, until the Federation foreclosed only weeks after it's start. Nathan wasn't sure where he wanted to go from there, so he wrestled in a few indy feds, none of them worth promoting, or even mentioning until one day he was contacted by a long time friend, with ideas of joining a Canadian based federation, the Extreme Wrestling Association. Low and behold, this was his first real break into the business. Only after a week of wrestling dark matches, Tom Stone granted Nathan a title shot as his new alias, The Brink. Sure, it was only the worthless Canadian Title, but at the time that title meant everything to him. It was his first title, it was a ticket to his stardom, it WAS him. Unfortunately, the ticket didn't last long, and he quit the federation, dropping the title after only 8 days. Some title reign, eh? The Brink didn't exactly "go over" in the EWA at first, but he had accomplished one thing... he had made an enemy. He wouldn't find out until his return who that enemy was, but it would turn out to be the man that got him the push, that made him the man you see today. Aside from an enemy, he had made a friend, the one man responsible for everything The Brink has done. Many of you know him as Dave Carter, and the fans would most likely know him as "Serial Thrylla". He was Nathan's "Stu Hart", training him, working with him, developing the talent that hid from within Nathan. Eventually, Dave told Nathan that he was ready, and Nathan agreed. With Tom Stone's consent, The Brink was back under contract, with a revamped gimmick, and a new look on life. With this new gimmick, he was able to defeat opponents left and right... Pretty soon it wasn't just low-card people he was defeating, big names started to fall, guys like TnT, and NoMaD. The Brink finally had his shot... Tuesday Night Heat... The Brink Vs. TnT in an International Title Match-up. The Brink poured his sweat into that match, and when it was all said and done, and the dust had cleared, he emerged victorious. After the match, everyone was there to congratulate him, he had finally made it. Everyone was there, except one man... NOMAD. Nathan had always shrugged off the man's bitterness, but it wasn't something that could be ignored. The Brink had found his rival, the gothic fuck had arrived. Eventually, after the two men had battled to no end, The Brink was called into Tom Stone's office. That night, he was scheduled to drop the title to the one man he despised, in order to move on to the Heavyweight Title. On one hand, he was able to move on to the peak of his career, but on the other hand.. he had to do the one thing he hated most. After that match, his 13-0 streak had ended, his 67 day title reign had ended, AND to make matters worse, it had all come at the hands on the one man he hated. It wasn't the end of his career, but eventually it would be. The Brink eventually captured the Heavyweight Title, but it was then that Tom Stone had lost control of his company. The Brink was left with no one to challenge him, he was forced to put jobbers out of commission weekly, just so he wouldn't develope a form of "ring rust". It was then that Nathan had the idea for a career change. He dropped the title, and with the money he had earned from EWA's marketing, he opened his own business, a rival federation. Let's just say that things weren't as easy as they looked, as Brink finally gave up his company for his one true passion, EWA wrestling.

Comments: God... I never dreamed that I'd make it this far in the EWA. Well, here's my "Grammy Winner" speech. I'd like to thank all of my friends that I've managed to make in the EWA; Tom Stone, Chandler, Dave, Tony, Zed, Wardog, Wildman, Das J, The Foundation, Divine, Nick, everyone on the current & past rosters except the pricks. I've made a lot of friends in the EWA alone, and I'd really have to say that I have absolutely NO regrets about roleplaying instead of doing my homework, or roleplaying instead of going out to a movie with friends... It sounds like a fucking nerd life, but it's not... It's fucking fun, and I can guar-an-fucking-tee that with the type of shit we come up with, that we are "nerds". I'd also like to thank myself, for getting myself this far.. lol.. and I'd like to especially thank Dave Carter and Eric Jarres for making me the piece of shit I am today. I love you guys, and Justin... get off your fucking ass and stop being lazy. I'd like to specially thank Tom again, for being a prick at the beginning, but eventually growing up, and being cool.. LOL.. I'd like to thank Tom's Nazi flag, for getting him free pizza... and I'd like to thank Jack-In-The-Box, for making those delicious bacon ultimate cheeseburgers that I love SOOOO much, that gave me the inspiration to roleplay.. To all of those I didn't thank, I'm sorry.. but thank you for this grammy.. I'll put it up on my shelf.. I love you all.. I love the fans.. PROMOTE WORLD PEACE!!.... wait...no... fuck that..
