HISTORY: Rudolf Phillips, also known as The Chosen One, started his career in the GWF at age 13 known simply as "Das Wunderkind." Jim Ross, who was scouting at the time, saw great potential in him and signed him to a ECFA contract. The Chosen One, now known as Kain, flourished there and eventually became ECFA Tag Team Champion, doing so in a handicap match. But, The Chosen One severely injured his knee, and was released, vacating his title.

Rudolf next showed up a year later as a manager in the AHWA where he participated in a few specialty matches. This obviously, at the time, was not something The Chosen One could do, so he was sent to the USWA, where he prospered, before the federation was shut down. The Chosen One re-injured his leg there, so he went back to Germany and trained himself back into perfect shape at the Buchenwald Treatment Facility.

In late October of 1999, he returned to the USA and was offered contracts by many different organizations. He chose the better-paying WM2K Federation, where he quickly manifested into The Chosen One. The President, impressed with his skills, gave him many title opportunities, with The Chosen One succeeding, winning the Intercontinental Title once and the World Heavyweight Title twice. On March 26, 2000, just before his big night at the Wrestlemania 2000 event, the president closed down the fed, leaving alot of people, including The Chosen One, out of jobs, and out of a fed. The Chosen One wasn't done yet though. So he signed a contract in the Extreme Wrestling Association where he is bound for more glory.
