Many people ask me; why do they call them Lovebirds, when they are so mean...
Lovebirds (as with most birds) need a great amount of attention in the first 6 months of their life.
Not just hand feeding, but INTERACTION!
If you hand feed them, then put the little guys in a cage and only give them food and water, they will get "wild"
rather quickly. One must play with their little lovebirds everyday. When you are busy... at least go to their cage
and talk to them and give kisses before you run out the door.
