I was born and raised in a small town not far from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I've always had a passion for the glamorous, the exotic, the sensuous. In short, I wanted to get away from that small town! So I've traveled the world over in search of all the places most small-town girls see only in their dreams.
I've sighed over the sad romance of Boldt's Castle in New York's Thousand Islands, dreamed long days away in the picturesque towns of Tasmania, walked long beaches showing not a single footprint in Australia's tropical Queensland, ridden cable cars in San Francisco, and found romance unlimited in every one of Hawaii's golden islands. And always I come home to the Rocky Mountains that are now home, and the most special place of them all.
Like my wanderlust, my fascination with words and stories has always been an integral part of me. I remember that I could read and write before I started school, and by the time I finished first grade, I was writing one-page, laboriously printed stories. Following graduation from high school, I headed straight for the nearest city, Pittsburgh, and majored in journalism, romance, and adventure. I married my college sweetheart, who remains my most romantic, most adventurous, hero of them all.
Since then I've published several romantic suspense novels that I consider my 'warm-ups', and finally got into the sensuous romance field strictly on a dare. A friend who was trying to write one (and has since been published in the inspirational genre) invited a group of us over to help her. The wine flowed, the comments flowed faster, and very soon things were completely out of control. That was about the time one of the ladies dared me to try writing one, since I was coming up with most of the ideas. I did. Then I met Extasy Books, Extasy liked me, and the rest is history.
