I've beenhard at work. In fact, having such a long, low-grade sickness, the writing was more important than ever. It kept my mind off things that were going wrong.
I have a new cover for NEPTUNE'S DAUGHTER, which I'll add to the page a little later on. It's dynamite, and really sexy........
Several of the titles listed on this site as Coming Soon are out, and available at Extasy. These include the final two stories in the seven-book Wooden Indian Series - NOTHING BUT TROUBLE and RETURN TO EDEN. Also SNOW FEVER is published and available. And SWEETIE is due to come out April 15, 2008 or thereabouts - and wait until you get a look at the cover for this one!!!!!!
I've also published a very intriguing ghost story with Extasy. Titled WHERE MAGIC DWELLS it deals with a tourist visiting a historic prison in Tasmania (that's Australia!) While there, she has a very strange encounter and ultimately finds the man of her dreams. And two short stories, in the Violet Visions and Atlantis Allure anthologies, titled DAMSON and THE EIGHTH, PEARL respectively.
Coming works from Extasy are two more shorties - CLANCY'S IRISH DREAM is a comical tale in the upcoming Emerald Envisage anthology and a story tentatively titled BLOOD LUST is underway for the Sanguinary Seductions anthology. In full length works PRINTEMPS, finds the hero and heroine engaged in a heated battle over some rare bits of depression glass. SHERRY, DON'T GO shows another side of the 911 tragedy - which turns out to be not tragic at all for a harried pair of strangers who find themselves in mid-air at the time the national airspace is shut down. Also I'll have a full-length novel with mysitical overtones coming soon from Mojocastle Press.THE FOREST QUEEN is set in Yosemite National Park and features that red Mustang and a finagling, manipulative giant sequoia tree. Among other things.
I'm currently finishing up HOTTER AFTER DARK, featuring a self-centered radio DJ who gets what he has coming. And after that......my thoughts are leaning heavily toward a novel dealing with a legendary ghostly race car that appears from out of nowhere to terrify innocent motorists on a lonely stretch of country road. No title for this one yet - but it is based on a local legend in the small town where I grew up. |
