Amber is not a stone but actually a fossilized resin of cone-bearing trees, some of which is dated back to 8000 B.C.E.!! It can be used in numerous types of spells or rituals but is most commonly worn as a protective adornment. A genuine amber-bead necklace is most common but also quite pricey! It can strengthen almost any spell any will increase effectiveness in your magic!

Coral - Hard substance formed of skeletons of various marine polyps.  Coral is said to promote general physical and mental well-being and to be of particular assistance to those suffering from anemia, bladder conditions, colic and whooping cough.  In many parts of the world it is believed that coral can be used to ward off evil thoughts sent by ill-wishers.  Helps with fever, colds, asthma, digestive problems. Red is more effective for men.
Powers: Healing, agriculture, wisdom, peace, protection. Coral is a receptive stone who's planet is Venus and element is Water. It is not actually a stone but the skeletal remains of sea creatures and therefore is not commonly used in magic. It's name is derived from Greek terms meaning "daughter of the sea" and was traditionally worn to regulate a woman's menstrual flow. Today, though, it is worn to guard against accidents, theft, acts of violence and by women to prevent sterility. It can also ward off panic, depression and fear. It is your own personal choice as to whether or not you want to utilize coral in your magic.

Jet - A very hard lustrous form of natural carbon. Prevents deep depression, quiets fears.  Protects from violence and illness.
