Equitas Veneficii is Latin for Equal Magics.
We are a Pagan Tradition whose primary focus is balance and equality. We recognize deity in all people and welcome men and women equally. We work with both earth magic and ceremonial magick. We have a three degree system with the High Priest and High Priestess being full equals in leadership. We meet to celebrate the Full Moon, the New Moon, The Eight sabbats of the year and the Male and Female Mysteries. Classes in Equitas Veneficii are ongoing. Each level teaches and learns from the levels below and above. We continually challenge ourselves to walk in true balance and equality. Our Tradition is open to seekers. |

The Equitas Veneficii Tradition has been created to bridge a gap between strong men and women in the Craft. We weave together a powerful magick of balance and equality. The most powerful magick is the magick of creation. Creation of a new human being takes two distinct types of energy. We call these energies male and female. This is the way of the natural world. It is a spiritual truth as well. Creation of the world took male and female energy in combination. The God cannot plant a seed in nothing and expect it to grow. Neither can the Goddess place a seed into her own womb. Negative and positive, dark and light, female and male. These forces in combination are what life is made of.
A man alone has within him the essence of both God and Goddess. He is capable of aspecting either and can lead the energies of a coven with or without a partner. A woman alone has within her the essence of both Goddess and God. She is capable of aspecting either and can lead the energies of a coven with or without a partner. The preferred leadership of a coven is High Priest and High Priestess in tandem. The High Priestess has the final authority in decisions from Spring to Fall. The High Priest has the final authority in decisions from Fall to Spring. |

All forms of deity are acceptable and equally valid. We celebrate the Gods and Goddesses in all their forms, faces, and names. Covens shall celebrate Full Moons, New Moons, and the Eight Sabbats of the year. The Male and Female mysteries are celebrated as are the great Rites of Passage in Life. Each coven is encouraged to choose a patron God and a patron Goddess. |

Elections for the Offices of the Council shall take place at this time.
Ours is a learning tradition. Please contact the individual covens for availibilty of Rainbow Year Classes. Classes are ongoing throughout all degrees. Ours is also a teaching tradition. 1st Degree Initiates actively participate in the training of the students. 2nd Degree Initiates teach both Rainbow and 1st Degree Classes, and 3rd Degree Inititates teach classes on all levels. Elders are encouraged to continue to challenge themselves and each other in learning new skills.
When the 3rd Degree has been attained, the new High Priest or High Priestess shall lead the coven for a period of six months under the supervision of the coven.
