6 of Pentacles

"I'm careful, I am. It's not evident at first glance because I appear to
be generous and to relate will to other people. But I know precisely how
much I can give without tipping my scales. I'm pretty stable and fairly
      predictable.

"The Buddha said we should strive to realize that fortune goes with
misfortune. To be enlightened, we need to transcend both. I kind of
understand that, but mostly I'm still geared toward acquiring a fortune or
other outward proof that I'm a success.

"I grasp the idea that those of us who have achieved a certain level of
success need to `give back' to our communities, and in our professions,
act as mentors. It is far easier for me to do that than to be benevolent
      to myself.

      "My key phrase is
balancing the inner scales."
