The Celtic Cross Spread
The Lay Out
Shuffle, cut and deal out the cards. Keeping the cards face down, read them one at a time, from the first to the tenth. As you read each card, see how it relates to the card just prior to it. Let the cards tell your story. Do not make guess's as to what each card means. Do not try to say things to make the seeker happy. Use your intuition, letting your feelings carry the reading. Make a note of the suit with in each placement, the house of the zodiac it is placed in and what planet is it's ruler. The number is also very important. You need to know that clubs are very fast moving: hearts are smooth: spades are a dead stop: and last but not least diamonds are very slow.
Another thought In the event a card falls out while shuffling or dealing, set it aside as it may have special significance somehow. It may indicate a person or even a time, again, of course depending on the suit.
