Season 2001 saw Ralph joined by new teammate Juan Montoya who was believed to be quicker of the 2.Ralph also believed that the Williams team were favouring Montoya but in the end it didnt matter, again like in previous years Ralph did the business on race day and finally after coming so close on many occasions, he cracked it for his first pole position in France then his first win which was at the San Marino grand prix. This was a huge boost to his confidents and position in the team, and he then went on to win another 2 more Grand Prix in 2001Below is how the rest of the season went for Ralph.
