Daquas
Pod of Shining Storms

You shield your eyes as you step out into the bright sunlight. A large body of water lies before you. Evoviel quickly walks to the shore and looks out over the flat reflective surface. Suddenly a line of ripples appears on the surface as something disturbs the water underneath. A red fin can be seen above the surface as the creature approaches. It suddenly leaps out of the water and enters again, creating a splash that soaks both of you. Its head breaks the surface again and you can just see its amusement. Evoviel shakes herself off and wrings her shirt, trying to get some of the water out. Beside the red creature another appears, this one with a beautiful yellow head.

"That mischievous guy is Dyzumi." She smirks. "I should learn that he likes to do that to guests. Sorry about the little shower he gave us. Dyzuni is a Daquas. Isn't he just lovely? And the gorgeous lady beside him is Elagay. And look at who's coming up now!"

Two more forms swim closer to the shore. At first you can only make out a purplish horn followed by an orangish dorsal fin and green fin a bit to the side. Two heads pop up above the surface.

"There's Aciek, the one on the left. He and the one on the right, Redien, have wild parents. Dyzumi and Elagay's parents are from the Pod of Nightgaze. We've formed our own pod here, and it's called the Pod of Shining Storms. Maybe we'll get some new members soon!
