?m Mary Bishop. Abraham and Mary took out a marr license 18 Mar 1851 Smith Co, Tenn, and after it was "lost" took out
another on 24 Dec 1851, but may not have married. Mary was prob the Mary Bishop,38 Tenn, living in same household as
Abraham Goad in 1850, with Nancy Bishop, who was apparently Mary's mother.

1810-11 Smith Co Minute Bk, p 288: Abram Goad called for jury duty.

Note: It has been speculated that the above Abraham was the same Abraham Goad (#2223) who m Permelia Cundiff and lived in
Bedford Co, Va, but the above Abraham was in Smith Co, Tenn as early as 1805-11, the same time that the other Abraham
was marrying and listed in the 1810 Bedford Co census.
