God crap I screwed up my computer! Wheeee... =dies= See... usually they let you delete a new setting thingy... but my comp is not being so happy. x.xV ionooooo!!!! But for some odd reason the default was set to search when you double click a folder. So I decided to try and change that. Didn't work when you set open to default from Folder. So I sent and added a open operation to file folder. Biiig mistake. So now it opens in a new winodw everytime you click a folder. =grumbles= Good riddance. Either way! Comp's running slower. no clue why. I blame it on the new virus software. Grrrr..... annnd.. I went shoe shopping! Again yes yes. ^^;;; This time with shoes!!!! =does victory dance= Yessir I got my shoes! And... They're.. I can't believe I'm saying this. They're cute. Do they look painful? hell yes! Do they look even remotely like something Ev would wear? Hell no! But I like them! I like them more than my dress. btw I am pray they go with my dress... ^^;;;; if not I'll just fall over and die which I might do at prom anyway! =^^= They're high.... like a good 1.5 to 2 inches high. I can feel myself withdrawing. I don't know why. You think everything would be getting better but for some odd reason everything's bothering me. Little things. Simple things. Everything. I don't know why. So I ignore it. But I know what I'm thinking and therefore I feel horrible. It came again this morning. The most horrible sense of alone. You've felt it haven't you? But for some odd reason, today it really hit me. well maybe it didn't. well... It might be an accumulation of times when I had that feeling but told myself to ignore it. All right! Influx of techno/dance music! Yessir! Wheeeeee!!!! I'm obsessed with Delerium btw. Everyone should check out their music. Good stuff. now we need to combine Delerium with Bjork.... =plots= ^^ j/k Either way, went to buy shoes today! Did I get them??? nooo.... Mom showed a house first. 3 clients came to see that one house. After we went to the Show Cents in front of Jenny's house except they were clooosed!!!! Nooooooooo!!!!! So we went to Eckards next door. Went to eat dinner at Ruggles. Ruggles is good. Not spectacular but they have prettiest desserts. =^^= If you ever go there (it's in the village next to that huuuge church next to Rice) you HAVE to get their sweet potato fries. omg. Good stuff good stuff. Then we got tiramisu which is realy not all it's cracked up to be. It's like this heavy almost solid cream stuff that's sweet but bitter. Kinda like creme brulee's effect except not as cool. And the bottom is this soaked bread type thing... iono how to describe it. It's very pretty tho... ^^;;;; It's kinda got this coffee hint to it. either way, I like the sauce they sprinkled the plate with a lot more than the tiramisu. ^^;;; They used this strawberry sauce and mango sauce and crisscrosses it over the plate. Good stuff good stuff. 5 stars for presentation points. ^^ so I like ruggles... Not really really expensive tho it makes it convenient that mom and I don't eat a lot. We shared a hamburger and dessert. And I'm full!!!! *^^* Woaw... Well then again... Burgers are very filling because of the beef. Wow... Their burgers buns are very good btw. ^^ Good good burger buns. Yummy. lol okok. aaaaanyway.... 2 months and 3 days! =beams= Everything's still moving swimmingly. *^^* annndd 11 days 'till prom! BAAAAACK!!!!! Yosh! =grumbles= I'm back and Mom is already nagging me about college! =contemplates shooting herself just to get some peace and quiet= Grrrrrr... Well I have ltos of funny stories to tell. Do I remember them all? Not really... ^^;;; Well ok, there was this one shop in Venice Beach that we went to to buy souveneirs. And these Hispanic guys were running the place. I was there with Julia and Kemly. They were talking about us in Spanish but Kemly and I understood bits and pieces of it because we both take Spanish. Even more annoying was when this one guy said "Konnichiwa" in really bad Japanese. Good lord. So I said it back and they started laughing. Julia said to me in Mandarin that it was kind of sad that they had no clue we were Chinese and not Japanese. I responded with they were just stupid people. ^^ So! We didn't buy anything from them obvously. Idiots. Anyway, I rode more roller coaster/ride type things than I ever have before. Good riddance. Wendy and I both don't like rides with drops or loops so whenever we had to go up vertically you could hear Wendy and I going, "No no no no no no nooooooo" And Splash Mountain is uber evil. grrrr.... I actually only did 3 real rides in Disneyland. So sad. We spent the majority of the time arguing about where we were going and waiting in line. The coolest was the Indiana Jones one. I'd ride that again just because it was so cool. So ya, I think Disneyland was sad. We didn't get to do anythign I really wanted to do but it was still fun I guess. It went by too fast. I wish we had 2 days. That would have been perfect. Universal Studios we were more efficient. We did every single ride and almsot every show. Spiderman Rocks is the most random show ever. I mean good lord... x.xV Ah well. Studio tour was spiffy except my camera battieries died then. And I found out later that my 8 other batteries I brought with me were almost dead as well. =grumbles= So ghetto tho apparently rechargeable batteries are supposed to come completely drained... Merf. Never was like that before. *sigh* Oh well. So anyway, I get to battle with my battery charger to get them charged so I have no clue if the pictured turned otu okay. I'm kinda of worried since it's hard to take nice pictures without the flash since the shutter stays open longer to get more light. Hm.... Wow... There's lots I could possibly say.... But... Nah... I don't have much time to type it all up. ^^ You all will prolly be hear random LA stories for months to come. ^^ oooh and I had phone battles. lol My ghetto phone. yup yup. I used it more than I have before. ^^ I found out I get free text messages. spiffyness. I just can't send them.... ^^;;;; Well.... I can just for $.25 Meh. Well it's funny because I went from about $22 at the beginning of the trip to about $3. Oh yes... Ev was on the phone. heh... So anyway, I'm back home with crap loads to do and not much time to do it in. All I want to do is sleep but that can't be managed. Today I woke up late. Didn't even hear the alarm clock until about 6:50. I blame it on the time lapse. LA is 2 hours behind so it felt like it was 4 in the morning when I had to get up. So my body was still in deep sleep mode when it went off. =grumbles unhappily= Jenny and Austin overslept as well so I'm not the only one. ^^ Everyone was exhausted and miserable to be back in school. lol Well tomorrow is another day, and I get home early! ^^ Yay!!!!! I'll give you a perfect example of what I'm talking about, did you ever see a guy moving a mattress tied to the roof of his car. He's out on the highway with this thing (laughs), he's always got the arm out the window, holding the mattress too, right ? Whatever he's rigged up there, he's always helping along with the arm. This is classic male idiot super-hero thinking. This moron actually believes that if the wind catches this huge rectangle at 70 miles an hour, "I got it, I got it. Don't worry about it. I'm using my... arm !".
Why is McDonalds still counting ? How insecure is this company ? Forty million, eighty jillion, billion zillion, killion tillion... Is anyone really impressed anymore ? "Oh, 89 billion sold ! Alright, I'll have one. I'm satisfied". Who cares ? I would love to meet the chairman of the board of McDonalds, to just say to him, "look, we all get it. Okay ? You've sold a lot of hamburgers. So many events of the Olympics don't make sense to me, I don't understand their connection to any reality like... like in the winter Olympics, they have that Biathlon, you know that one ? That combines cross-country skiing with shooting a gun ? How many alpine snipers are into this ? To me it's like combining swimming and strangle a guy, why don't we have that ? That makes absolutely as much sense to me, just put people in the pool at the end of each lane for the swimmers.
But I've also gone hang-gliding, I've gone sky diving, I like things that are a little scary, I don't know, maybe that's why I do this. I read a thing that actually speaking in front of a crowd is considered the number 1 fear, of the average person. I found that amazing. Number 2 was death ! Number 2 ! That means, to the average person, if you have to be at a funeral, you would rather be in the casket than doing the eulogy. That's what that means.
We all try and prevent ourselves from getting ripped off, we all think we're very clever, you know. We think we can out-think the crooks, you know. Go to the beach, go in the water, put your wallet in the sneaker, "who's gonna know ? What criminal mind could penetrate this fortress of security ?. I put it down by the toe, they never look there. Yup, still feeling all froopy happy about my layout. *^^* Mwah ha ha ha ha!!!! okok... ya... first day back... Blergh. No fun I swear. x.x Cal was funny today tho. He was teaching us logarithmic growth and decided to do a quick experiment. So basically we graphed out how long it would take the class to all get sick. So we all numbered off and he used the calculator to figure out who would spread the disease. The funny thing is Laura was chosen to spread the disease. Why is this funny? Because she's sick. ha ha So! If the calculator is psychic I'll get sick in 2 days... ^^:;; heh... we hope it's wrong... x.xV Moof. Spanish was also interesting because we're watching Il Postino. Yes, not in Spanish but in Italian. ^^;;; Well ya... WOW!!! Ev! is! done!!!! With not a moment to spare! ^^ Bwah ha ha ha!!! So! I wasted a crap load of time on this layout and I'm still not done yet. ^^;;; But! In my hours slaving away at this layout I can say I'm learned a lot about style sheets. With my old monitor it was the left speaker that was all screwy and now it's the left earphone. =grumblegrumblegrumble= *siiigh* Well ok. Hm... I think imma go start Chobits... Good lord shoe shopping is exhausting. So yah. We left again to go shoe shopping for an ungodly length of time. A little after this entry was made. So I didn't have time to post. ^^;;; anyway we first went to payless in Sharpstown and some other store.... We didn't know the other store was onyl for athletic shoes until we parked and since it was having this huge clearance sale we decided to go anyway. (I need tennis shoes ^^:;;) Ended up not getting anything. Payless in Sharpstown had a larger selection of shoes than the one we went to after lunch but... Still no good. We found these pink shoes that were pretty but the hell was in the back center not the edge so my feet wobbled around a lot while walking. x.xV I was going to twist my ankle on them I swear!!! x.xV So mom fell in love with them and kept mentioning them for the rest of the day. She kept saying that women are always putting themselves through pain to look pretty so why couldn't I just this one time? My argument was heels will hurt like a bitch no matter what and I simply couldn't walk in those. the chances of my falling and/or twisting my ankle were a lot higher with those shoes. But noooo.... *sigh* Well it's ok. We didn't argue or anything! Point for Ev!!! After than we stopped by at the dolalr store ont he way to the car. ^^ Gotta love that place. I was trying to find a container for my beads but no luck. *sigh* I did get a bag for my clothes hamper. ^^ So then we went to Walmart. Ont he way we went to Famous Footwear which was no good and overpriced and then finally Walmart. Walmart was definitely no good. But we did end up buying 2 bottles of sparkling water! White grape!! ^^ But I can't hog this one since Mom likes white grape too... *sigh* And we got Pringles and Chips Ahoy. Junk food for Ev to get nice and round on. ^^;;;; Heh.... Oh well. Either way after that we were so exhausted Mom didn't feel like cooking soooo... Guess!! Guess!!! WE WENT TO DENNY'S!!!!!!!! =does the happy dance= So! Yes I'm happily full on french toast. =grins maniacly= A motnh of waiting and I finally get it!!!! Yay! Yay!! So! While this day was entirely productive, I managed to spend the entire day with Mom perfectly peachily. You betcha! No arguing even tho we were both really really exhausted. Bwah ha ha ha ha!!! Still struggling with the earphones.... Mou... so unfair. Either way I'm up early!! Woke up at 9:30!!! O.O lol well ok... Mainly because I went to sleep early last night because I was exhausted. downloading music off rotations again! I have to counterbalace my huge stock of english mp3s ^^ So! hee hee. Back on my old Move addiction. ^^ So much better than Two-Mix. But still... there's only so much you can tolerate of candy techno... Wow... Hm... I want more Seo Taiji music... He's cool but iono why so many people think he's awesome.... ^^;;; annnnd... Jay Chou can be good ^^ He's got a nice singing voice if he doesn't push it... x.x hm.... never forget Sakamoto Maaya. Lots of rotations have her music. =beams happily= I've also noticed a lot of Delerium songs. Why so many? iono.... Deleruim's good tho. Always sad. ^^ Anyone heard of them? Well I went to the Chinese restaurant we might go to for prom. I'm kind of uncertain. When you first look at the restaurant it doesn't look too nice but when you go inside it's not too bad. It's got this false kind of elegant look. Like it was pretty when it first opened but people haven't been taking care of it. I think the food is good but Mom was kind of disappointed. She says the last time she ate there was better. Ad they screwed up a bit. Gave me the wrong dish but I ate it anyway since it looked good and they forgot the peanuts in Mom's kung pao chicken. Funny. Mom was like, "It's not Kung pao chicken without the peanuts." lol Poor Mom. They came back with a little bowl of peanuts for Mom to add in. ^^;;; Hm... other than that I'm worried about the price. It'll go up by $5 if we really do need 10 dishes... $20 too much guys? dammit. And I need to know how many people are going since some people are trying to get dates!!! I'm at 10 people actually going and 3 potential peoples. Unless anyone else is trying to get a date.... Betsy and wallace right? tho wallace might NOT BE GOING!!!! if he gets a Clements date... =stares at wallace= .... and Laura might get a date if Elizabeth goes conspiring. ^^;;; So! am I up to speed? anyone else trying to get a date? anyone dropping out. To put this honestly. You drop out, it's fine by me. You bring someone in... It's... ok.... ^^;;;; See.... I'm kinda hoping we'll have enoguh chairs and the table can only fit 12 people.... They actually only do 8 people but we can add 4 chairs in. So 12 people comfortably. Anymore and we might have to branch out and form a smaller table. Anyway, I better go before this entry gets too freakishly long. ^^;;;;

The bass is beautiful on these... =grumbles= I seem to always have speaker-type problems. x.x Well Laura came by to drop off my jacket!! Yayyyyy!!! So I have my black jacket back. =smiles= We talked for awhile. She made me show off my dress. So It's been confirmed by two people so yup. I'm sticking with that dress... Even tho I'm starting to not like it I'm pretty sure I'll be happy at prom. It'll be ok. ^^ 1 MONTH!!! =beams fruitily= Annnd I have to see Laura and Jenny's dress!!! Yes I do yes I do! Well... Things have been a bit rough with mom... but... today's been better... so.. hopefully things are good again... =smiles hopefully= Well rither way, Dad came over to visit after his trip to HK and Malaysia. Talked for a bit... he couldn't fix my camera... =cries= This bites this bites!! thisbitesthisbitesthisbites.... He said to mail it to Olympus b/c they'll fix it but... That means I won't have it in time for my LA trip... =cries some more= Waaaaa.... no faiirrrrrrr.... Dammit I haaad to drop it. grrrgh.... Well... Other than that the week's been dragging on... This is the first day I managed to wake up on time. *sigh* Good riddance... I swear I need to work on that... iono what's wrong with my alarm clock. urgh... yah... my brain's gonna explode. I swear this day keeps getting progressively worse and worse. =dies= It started out with a mild brain fuzz. So I decided to avoid the comp and just read. Smart logic right? Wrong. My headache blossomed into something beautiful. I gave up and went downstairs to watch an episode of Ai Yori Aoshi. And then Mom called to go out and get the passport pictures developed. We were finally going to go to Denny's and get french toast but then she decided it'd be easier to go to Quizno's. So we used this cupon to get a free Kid's Meal and ya... usually a kid's meal is good enough for me but not this time. The sandwich is ungodly small. urgh. And for some off reason the Spirte tasted like club soda. So there you go. The "Sprite" is now down the sink and the sandwich is eaten along with half of mom's since she wasn't very hungry. She's mad at me for having a headache and being sleepy. and she started harassing me about not having enough school spirit by going to games ever since she found out there was this bhs graduate playing on a college team. good riddance is all I have to say... Either way, I think imma crawl off to bed to die now. uuurrrrrgh.... Damn headache. I haven't had one this bad in awhile. Kill me now kill me now. Merf merf merf merf. -.-... I miss you.... *sigh*
