NOTE:

Ah!  The divine Miss Flo!  This recording features some great orchestrations

by Tim Stella (what is it with all the Tims involved in Evita?!).  They are still

used in European Touring productions.  Listen to the end of “Buenos Aires”.

The brass section punches through in descant-fashion.  With Florence Lacey’s

thrilling voice, it’s a good combination.  By the way, Flo is one of the few Evas to

actually pronounce the Buenos Aires place names correctly – she trills the “r” in

“Río” perfectly!
