NOTE:

If I was forced to go to a desert island (read: resort), and I could only take one EVITA

recording with me, this would be the one.   In my opinion, it’s the definitive version of

the show.  This was the first EVITA recording I ever owned.  I would recommend it to

anyone.  Other recordings are longer, and some have snazzier orchestrations, but the

combination of Patti, Mandy and Bob is magical.
