Shebaa is a large village, or town, that has a mixed population - there are Druze, Sunni and Shia Muslims and Christians. A schoolteacher told me that the Israelis were constantly trying to divide the population to keep control over them. Houses of people who refused to collaborate were destroyed by the occupying army
