Curly's Poetry ~ In search of my ocean

Notes of Rachel:

Anthony, life is a long road and pictures keep each moment of this road for an eternity... This site is a gift to what we have shared and lost and to what we are sharing again now: Love and happiness. I have faith in our new love, I know it is still fragile but I believe it will survive with the change of the seasons if we both want it to. Little differences and problems should not turn off the light we have found in each other. I am happy with you and capture this moment to treasure and to last... I love you.

IN SEARCH OF MY OCEAN

To the beauty in both of us

A noise on the air for which words evade me
Not a noise as such as a gentle rumble
Of waves only a few feet high
Spread across a stretch of sand, noiseless by day
Powerful and deep through the air at night.

Spray through the air of water as it meets
And greets
The passive earth where people lay
Just earlier that day in the sun
Now spreads a salty dew across all that strays.

Memories newly old and not forgotten
Smelt and heard in my mind.
So in search for solitude I find
I have another ocean to send me to peace
At night, the rumble replaced by a clickety clack.
