July 2002
The supernatural was shocked to hear about the disappearance of every supernatural creature in most of the Minnesota area. Not believing this could actually occur, every faction sent a representative to find out what had occurred. When they arrived, all factions were surprised to find they could not stay long without extreme consequences. The vampires found out that mortals could tell them for what they were. No powers would hide them. Werewolves found that they were completely cut of from Gaia, and the Mages from their avatars. Changelings were attacked with banality, and had to leave to survive. Minnesota became a waste land for the supernatural and none could step foot within its boarders.
January 2003
All of the supernatural leaders received a letter:
To whomever it may concern,
As of this moment, the state of Minnesota is
now accessible to the supernatural community. You all may call me Richard,
and I have claimed this area as my own. However, I am not greedy, and am
open to others living here. I do not have any requirements except for one:
I wish to live in a calm area. I know all of your own races have rules to
enforce the same type of place, so I have no problems with you living under your
own rules. I will expect all of you to keep your people in line.
I know a lot of you will not trust me, or my opinion on the current state of the
area, so I am extending an invitation for you to all send representatives to the
Twin Cities to verify what I have said. I will provide a safe haven for
them here during the final week of January and the first week of February.
Richard
Every race decided it was worth the trouble to send a representative, even if that representative was expendable. No one knew what to expect.
February 2003
All of the supernatural were surprised to find out that this Richard appeared to be telling the truth. At least in the fact that the Minnesota area was once again "normal". After weeks of debate, the different communities decided to lift their ban of the area. Supernatural began to trickle back in to the state.
March - June 2003
Supernatural continued to return to the city for multiple reasons. Some to try and find missing friends, some to find out what had caused the disappearance in the first place, some to just find a new living, and some as always for reasons unknown.
June 2003
Richard decided that the supernatural in the area should at least know they were not alone, so he invited the supernatural and some humans to a gathering, and many were surprised what they found.
