| This saga takes place seven years after the Cell incident. It starts out with Gohan and he is trying to be a high school student and be an ordinary one at that. In other words he doesn't want anybody to know how powerful he truly is. Gohan attends Orange Star High School in Satan City. The people still look to Mr. Satan as their savior from Cell. Gohan also fights crime around Satan City but he arouses suspicion among his classmates, especially Videl who is Mr. Satan's daughter who also fights crime and is a "Champion of Justice." Vegeta is still training in the Gravity Room in Bulma's house with Trunks and we are also introduced to Goten who is Gohan's little brother and he was conceived during the wait for the Cell games so Goku never got to see him. Well with Bulma's costume that she makes so no one would no Gohan's identity when he fought crime in Satan City, he calls himself The Great Saiya Man. Eventually Videl figures out his identity and she makes him teach her how to fly and train since the Tenka-ichi-budokai is coming up soon. That is a Martial Arts Tournament which Mr. Satan is the "Champion" of. Gohan decides to enter the tournament to impress Videl and show her yhat he is stronger than her father Mr. Satan. He tells Vegeta, Kuririn (who also has a daughter named Marron), #18, Piccolo, Goten, Trunks and Yamcha about the tournament. Also Goku contacts Gohan from the after-life saying that he will use his one day back on earth the day of the tournament.
After they all do there training (exept for Yamcha who doesn't enter the tournament and just watches from the stands. Tenshinhan and Chaozu also don't attend since they said you wouldn't see them anytime again after the Cell Games.) the day of the tournament finally arrives and everbody is reunited. It turns out that Goten, and Trunks can't enter the adult tournament since they are kids and must enter the kid tournament which Trunks eventually wins. He beats Goten (some people may have thought he cheated others may have not it depends from your point of view when you see it.) Gohan also goes to the tournament as the Great Saiya Man. When Goku and the gang are going to the lockers they are confronted by two people they don't know, one is called Kibit the other calls himself Shin. Shin shakes Goku's hand and tells him "I see you do have a pure soul." Then the two of them walk away. Well they draw the numbers for the tournament and the fights come out like this: (by the way all of the Z warriors passed the eliminations)
Fight 1: Kuririn vs. this big guy (sorry I forgot his name)
Fight 2: Piccolo (under the name Ma Junior) vs. Shin
Fight 3: Videl vs. Supopo-bitchi
Fight 4: Gohan vs. Kibit
Fight 5: Goku vs. Vegeta
Fight 6: #18 vs. Mr. Satan
Note: there are other fights but they don't matter much as you'll find out.
Kuririn easily defeats his opponent. But when Piccolo goes to fight Shin he gets a tremedous amount of fear and surrenders. Piccolo later finds out that shin is actuall Kai-Oo-shin the god who is even above Dai-kaiou. then Videl gets trashed my Supopo-bitchi who has an odd mark lik ethis on his forehead: (V). They notice he has too much power for someone like himself. Then Kibit goes to fight Gohan and tells Gohan to turn Super Saiyan. (Gohan goes SSJ2) Kai-Oo-shin also tells everybody not to interfere no matter what happens because he thinks Supopo-bitchi will then go and take Gohan's energy. He was right Supopo-bitchi does do that and then flys off with his partner with the stolen energy. Kibit restores Gohan's power and both him and Kai-Oo-shin are astonished with Gohan's power. He asks for them to help him and they chase Supopo-bitchi. Vegeta reluctly goes since he just wants to fight Goku. Kibit and Kai-Oo-shin explain the story of Majin Buu, a demon that was created by a magician name Bibi-dee. It's only goal was to destroy and it was a hard time for a Kai-Oo-shin to seal it back where it belonged. Now the magician's son Babi-Dee was trying to revive the Majin Buu.
They arrive at the site where Babi-dee is and watch Supopo-bitchi give him the energy they stole Babi-dee then kills him and his accomplice. And he sends Dabura (the Lord of Darkness who he also charmed) after the hiding Z warriors. Dabura kills Kibit and turns Piccolo and Kuririn to stone with his spit. Vegeta, Gohan, Goku, and Kai-Oo-shin go after him into Babi-Dee's Ship. They have to go through 5 "stages" on the ship to get to Babi-Dee in which each stage has a fight. Vegeta easily defeates stage 1 and Goku defeats stage 2. Next for Gohan is Stage 3 and Gohan has to fight Dabura and he has a lot of trouble since he hasn't trained since the Cell Games. But suddenly Dabura senses an evil heart one that is worth being charmed by Babi-dee since he is very powerful and that person is Vegeta. Vegeta gets charmed by Babi-dee!!!! And now has this mark on his forehead: (V). Vegeta then wants to fight Goku Babi-dee warps them to the tournament Arena and Vegeta starts to kill spectators to get Goku to fight him. Vegeta and Goku fight and all the enery that they are losing are aiding in the revival of the Majin Buu. Majin Buu is then revived and easily defeats Gohan and Kai-Oo-shin and Dabura!!! He also turns Dabura into a cookie and eats him(returning Piccolo and Kuririn back to normal). Meanwhile Goku and Vegeta sense the presense of Majin Buu and decide to fight him together but as Goku is going for a senzu seed Vegeta hits him in the back and knocks him unconscious and takes the senzu seed for himself and decides to go face Majin Buu alone. Vegeta arrives just in time because Majin Buu was about to kill Kai-Oo-shin. Vegeta tries hard in defeating him but knows there is only one thing left he can do. He fights for the lives of someone else now not for himself he fights for the future of his son Trunks and his wife Bulma. He hugs his son for the first time ever than knocks him and Goten unconscious and tells Piccolo to take them away. Vegeta goes to face Buu one last time even though he knows he will die and he won't be going to heaven. He kills himself in trying to defeat Buu by making himself explode but it was worth nothing. Majin Buu still lived.
Everybody goes to Kami's Palace in the sky and goku says the only way then can win is with Fusion. And Goten and Trunks must be the ones to fuse. Meanwhile Bulma uses the Dragon Balls to restore everybody that was killed that day and Kibit comes back to life thy then save the other wishes from the Dragon Balls for another time but the Dragon won't appear for another 4 months then. Kibit finds the battered Kai-Oo-shin and heals him then they find Gohan and take him to their planet so he can begin training with the Zed Sword which will defeat Majin Buu.As a sign of respect, he wears the Kaiou-shin suit. Gohan pulls out the legendary Z Sword and begins to train under Dai Kaiou-shin, the Elder Kaiou-shin. Gohan is learning how to use his hidden powers without getting angry to go Super Saiyan mode.
Kaiou-shin reflects at his past. When he was young, he lived in peace with his family at his home planet. Then, an evil sorcerer, Babi-di's ancestor, used Buu to terrorize. (At the time, Buu was smaller than how he appears during the current section of the series.) Buu killed all of Kaiou-shin's family members. The Kaiou-shins cursed Buu into his fat form and made him dormant. Kaiou-shin, his partner, and Dai Kaiou-shin are the only Kaiou-shins left. Now, years later, Buu has been revived.
Everyone is at Sky Palace (Dende and PoPo's palace) except Gohan, who is still training under the Kaiou-shins. Gokou taught Goten and Trunks the art of fusion. Goten and Trunks fuse and become Gotenks! Then, he teleports to Kaiou-shin's planet and watches everything through Kaiou-shin's crystal ball.
Buu heads for Sky Palace to look for the "strong" being he sensed. He needs to absorb more powerful beings to be restored to his original form, the stronger form that he was in before the dying Kaiou-shins cursed him. The "strong" being in which Buu searches for is Gotenks. Goten and Trunks are training in a room inside Sky Palace. Piccolo tricks Buu into waiting for the boys to come out. Time passes by slower in the room, so it will buy some time for the boys to train more. Chi-Chi, seeing Buu, goes up to him to scold him for killing so many innocent people. Buu turns Chi-Chi into an egg and squashes it.
Buu grows tired of waiting and threatens to be taken into the room in which Goten and Trunks are in, or else he will kill everyone at Sky Palace. Piccolo, knowing that he is too weak to fight Buu, takes Buu to Goten and Trunks with the hope that the boys have become strong enough to fight Buu.
Goten and Trunks fuse into Gotenks and fight Buu. Gotenks is able to stand up to Buu, but neither side is winning. Piccolo blasts the doorway in the room. Then, he tells that without the exit, everyone will remain trapped in it forever so Buu can no longer kill any more people. Gotenks argues with Piccolo that they too have become trapped. Buu creates a fireball that produces a portal exit. He exits the room and returns Sky Palace. Gotenks and Piccolo look at each other in grief; they are not trapped and Buu is free. Super Saiyan Gotenks tries to create the same fireball that Buu created, but is too weak to. He powers up and reaches Super Saiyan level 3. Now much stronger, he is able to produce the portal. Piccolo and Gotenks exit the room and face Buu once again.
In the battle followed, Sky Palace is destroyed. Super Saiyan level 3 Gotenks is overwhelming Boo and winning. Boo is thrown back to Earth. Gotenks and Piccolo return to Earth to search for Boo's body. Boo survived the attack and reappears. Gotenks prepares to fight again, but the fusion wears off. Goten and Trunks unfused are too weak to fight Boo.
Gohan completes his training with Dai Kaiou-shin. He chooses a change in clothes to wearing his father's suit and wishes everyone goodbye. Gokou wishes his son luck, but envies that he cannot help because he is dead. Kaiou-shin's partner teleports Gohan to Earth.
Gohan appears in time to save Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo. Gohan beats Buu and Buu self-destructs.
Thinking they won the battle, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Buu fly off. They see Satan and Dende on their journey and take them with them. A being flies towards them. It is Buu! Goten and Trunks fuse again and are in Super Saiyan level 3. Eagerly wanting to fight again, Gotenks boasts about beating Buu. Taking advantage of the distraction, Buu absorbs Super Saiyan level 3 Gotenks and undergoes another body change. Now a lot stronger, Buu overwhelms Gohan. Buu throws a fireball at Gohan. Gohan tries to block, but another fireball pushes Buu's fireball away from Gohan. The ally is Tenshin-han. However, Buu prepares another fireball.
In the judgement court, King Yemma grants Vegeta life so that he could help save the planet. In Kaiou-shin's planet, the Kaiou-shins tell Gokou about fusion earrings. Kaiou-shin and his partner demonstrate. Each partner wears one of the earrings and the to permanently fuse. The earrings are given to Gokou. He is to give one to Gohan so that he and Gohan could fuse to beat Buu. To bring Gokou back to life, Dai Kaiou-shin exchanges his life for Gokou. Gokou's halo disappears, and Dai Kaiou-shin falls dead. Then, he re-awakens with a halo on top of his head. Gokou thanks everyone and teleports to help save Earth.
Buu is about to throw a huge fireball at Gohan. Gokou teleports to the scene and throws a fireball at Buu. Buu is sliced and his legs and lower part of his antennae are cut off. Gokou tells Gohan about the fusion earrings and throws one to Gohan. Gohan catches it and prepares to wear it. The cut off part of Buu's antennae engulfs Piccolo and Buu changes into a stronger form again. The cut off lower body of Buu walks and kicks Tenshin-han unconscious. Then, it engulfs Gohan and Buu powers up again. Gokou feels despair again.
Vegeta appears and aids Gokou. Gokou tells Vegeta about the fusion earrings and Vegeta finds the earring dropped by Gohan when Gohan got absorbed. Gokou and Vegeta are pulled together and become Vegetto!
Vegetto beats Buu, but purposely gets absorbed by Buu to save their comrades. The absorption cancelled out the effect of the permanent fusion and Vegetto splits back into Gokou and Vegeta. They find and rescue Goten, Trunks, Gohan, and Piccolo by carrying the bodies and escaping through one of Buu's pores. Good Buu is also still in Buu's body. As the characters left Buu's pores, they returned to their original size. Meanwhile, absorbing Vegetto had given Buu enough energy to complete his phase change. He powers up as the escapes from his body takes place, and returns to his original form. "Original" Buu is back.
Buu does a giant fireball and blows up the Earth. The newly fused Kaiou-shin teleports to help Gokou teleport Vegeta, Trunks, Goten, Gohan, Piccolo, Dende, and Satan to safety in Kaiou-shin's planet. Buu teleports and follows Gokou. Gokou and Buu battle. Gokou gets beaten and is weak, so Vegeta joins the fight. Vegeta admits that Gokou is better than him for the first time and then fights Buu. Buu beats Vegeta and is about to kill him, but Satan pops up and threatens Buu. Buu attacks Satan but Satan dodges the punch. All of a sudden, Buu goes in pain and spits the good fat Buu out. The two Buus fight and the good Buu gets beat unconscious. Gokou and Vegeta continue to face Buu.
Vegeta tells Kaiou-shin to gather the Namek dragonballs. He does so, and makes the first wish to restore the Earth. The second wish revives all the civilians that Buu killed. The third wish is saved for later. Everyone is back on Earth except Gokou, Vegeta, and Buu. Gokou begins to create a Genki Dama while Vegeta distracts Buu.
Our heroes on Earth tell people to raise their hands. Doing so will donate energy to Gokou's fireball. However, no one listens. Satan, still famous after the Cell Game, raises his hands. Following the example of their idol, everyone on Earth raises their hands. Gokou gets enough energy for his Genki Dama and he fires it. Buu is too strong to get blasted and holds the fireball back. Kaiou-shin makes the last wish from the dragonballs to restore Gokou's energy. Gokou's power restores from his weakened state and he uses his revived strength to strengthen his Genki Dama. Buu, unable to repel Gokou's Genki-Dama, is killed by it. Our heroes have won the battle. Fat Buu awakens. Our heroes debate on whether or not to kill him, but Satan pleads that this Buu saved his life. Buu is spared and joins the Z warriors.
Ten years after, Goten and Trunks are teenagers. Gohan married Videl, and the two became parents of five-year old Pan. Gokou wished the evil Buu back to life to fight him again. The wish reincarnates Buu into Ubuu; all evil cleansed. Gokou is training Ubuu. There is peace on Earth...
